Protesting works. It might take time and making plenty of noise, but it gets results. And in England, following weeks of protests from common sensical people, the government has decided to shelve the fascistic Chinese coronavirus vaccine passport system which would have forced citizens to show proof of vaccination just to enter businesses and venues, much in a “mark of the beast” manner. According to the U.K.’s Health Secretary Sajid Javid, “[W]e’ve looked at it properly and whilst we should keep it in reserve as a potential option, I’m pleased to say that we will not be going ahead with plans for vaccine passports.” Frankly, they should scrap it altogether, since such a system will be utterly detrimental to the country and would only lead to further protests like the ones they had been seeing for a while now. Regardless, Javid also said that Great Britain may also soon be looking to drop other Chinese coronavirus restrictions, including mandatory testing for returning travelers, which is more good news. According to Javid, “I’ve never liked the idea of saying to people, ‘You must show your papers’ or something to do what is just an everyday activity.” Then why keep the passports as a “potential option”, presumably in the case that the pandemic gets worse? I don’t know Javid’s political ideologies, and I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt on this and say that I think he’s sincere, but if you have some sort of moral distaste for such a system, then you should be against it from the moment it is conceived, without leaving it as a “potential option” for the future. Javid also explained that England didn’t simply want to submit to international peer pressure regarding vaccine passports, as many Western “allies” like much of continental Europe, Japan, Israel, and some American states were implementing them to one extent or another. “So many countries, at the time they implemented it, was to try and boost their vaccination rates and you can understand why they might have done that.” And certainly, no country ought to be bullied into doing something it doesn’t want to do (the same applies to people individually), but there are globalist fascists out there who care little for national or personal freedom, and will do what they can to ensure others will do as they want them to do. That’s the whole point of the vaccine passports in the first place. Don’t wanna get vaccinated? Then you can’t enter these venues. Soon, it will be “Don’t wanna get vaccinated? You’re fired.” Matter of fact, forget the idea that it would be “soon.” It’s already happening, albeit at a smaller scale. For example, a Navy assistant coach was reportedly fired for refusing to take the vaccine. Whether this technically is because the military has a vaccine mandate is irrelevant. This is the result that commies want for those who refuse to do as they want: job termination. It’s not merely a complete violation of the Nuremberg Code, it’s objectively morally evil. So it’s good that at least some sense has returned to England regarding the insanity of the Chinese coronavirus. What’s rather interesting about this whole ordeal, at least in England, is that the vaccine passports were seemingly opposed by people on both sides of the aisle. Liberal Democrat MP Alistair Carmichael said that vaccine passports would open “the door to a major change in the relationship between the citizen and the state. The introduction of vaccine passports will have enormous practical implications for the literally thousands of businesses across the country who will be required to gather and to hold our data.” Labour Party’s top deputy Angela Rayner said that her party “cannot support any potential COVID pass scheme for access to everyday services.” Conservative MP William Wragg called the vaccine passport plan “a load of rubbish,” and fellow Conservative MP Mark Harper said it was a “pointless policy with damaging effects.” Naturally, I’m inclined to believe the only reason this is bipartisan is because politicians often say what they believe people want to hear. But even with that, it does still show bipartisan opposition to the vaccine passport system, which exemplifies just how unpopular such a policy proposal is. The people don’t want it, political opponents to the PM lampoon it, and political allies criticize it just as harshly, if not more so. With so much pressure, it makes sense that the government would backtrack on such a fascistic idea. Unfortunately, it’s not all good news, as not all of the U.K. will drop such tyrannical measures. Last week, Scotland’s Parliament voted 68-55 to implement a vaccine passport system for entry into nightclubs and other crowded venues and negative COVID tests will not be accepted. And Northern Ireland has created a vaccine passport, but thus far, it’s only with regards to international travel. No word on whether Wales intends to implement a vaccine passport system. The good news is that I highly doubt the people of those countries in the U.K. will simply take it lying down. If even the people of IRAN and CUBA are protesting their corrupt and tyrannical governments, it would be easy to imagine that the people of Scotland, Northern Ireland, etc. would be willing to protest such authoritarian measures. I just hope and pray that more of these tyrannical idiots recognize that they only have as much power as we allow them to have and that the real power belongs, as President Trump said in his first inauguration address, to the people. Luke 10:19 “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.”
