A political party’s convention is supposed to be this big fest, essentially, in order to drum up support for the newly-nominated candidate, particularly if they really need it. It’s meant to get people excited and hyped to vote for them come November. This election’s DNC, however, seemed to have the opposite intended effect: Trump’s job approval went up AS THE CONVENTIONS WERE HAPPENING. Matt Palumbo from Bongino.com points this out: “In the Rasmussen Poll, President Trump’s approval stood at 47% [before the convention] – but made an incredible four percentage point leap this morning to 51%. When I reached out to Rasmussen to confirm that the sampling for today’s poll wasn’t taken before the DNC began to air, they said the polling data was being accumulated as the DNC speeches were ongoing. In other words, it is likely that some people were being directly influenced by the DNC – albeit not in favor of any Democrats.” Democrats, I’ll give you some good news and some bad news. First, the good news: hardly anyone was watching your commie-fest over the four days it was airing. Yes, THAT is the good news. According to Joe Concha from The Hill, ABC, CBS and NBC’s combined viewership of the second night of the DNC was just 6.13 million viewers, a 48% drop from night 2 of the 2016 DNC. By comparison, CBS’s “Big Brother” received more than half of that alone, at nearly 4 million viewers, on the same night. The first night didn’t fare much better either, with a 28% drop in viewership compared to the previous electoral season. The reason this is good news is because plenty of people didn’t see the actual commie-fest that was going on, with all of the asinine and dangerous demands that people deeply involved in this party usually make. The bad news is that all of this – Trump gaining in approval AS THE CONVENTION WAS GOING ON and viewership dropping like someone who had information that would lead to Hillary Clinton’s arrest – is a huge indicator that virtually no one is excited to vote for Biden. This, of course, is nothing new to us who see things for how they are. We KNOW that Biden is a bore and hardly anyone is willing to vote for him for his own sake. The people that intend to vote for Biden aren’t voting for Biden, just against Trump. And in terms of likely voters, Trump is very much winning. And, honestly, who can blame people who willingly sit through the snooze-fest that was the DNC for not exactly feeling excited to vote for Biden? What was shown in those four nights are boring, woke scold communists threatening to uproot this country’s very foundation. It might not have helped the Democrats for them to have featured Elizabeth Warren on their Native American Caucus Meeting, either. It was already established LONG ago that Elizabeth Warren is less Native American than the average white person in this country, so to have her on that panel, particularly since everyone KNOWS she’s not Native American, even to her own admission, probably ruffled a few people’s feathers. The Democrats also hilariously had a panel of Democrat Governors which included STACEY ABRAMS, which came off as more funny and pathetic than whatever point they were trying to prove with this stunt. Other than that, though, apart from the usual morons demanding to defund the police (which doesn’t exactly help sell the idea that Biden is a moderate who doesn’t want to defund the police), abolishing ICE and prisons, defending and promoting the rioters in Portland, and other communist crap, hardly any part of the DNC was very memorable or interesting. Obama gave a dark and depressing speech in which he focused far more on attacking Trump than propping up Biden, and Biden himself, upon giving his acceptance speech, gave a faux-hope and faith speech that REEKED with insincerity, considering Biden is a proponent of abortion, which does not demonstrate any kind of faith in Christ (the fact that they omitted “Under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance doesn’t exactly point to this being a campaign about faith and hope for the future). The DNC not only didn’t accomplish its intended goal of getting people excited to vote for Biden (assuming that was the goal in the first place, considering how little time they actually spent promoting their very nominee), but the convention seemed to have the exact opposite intended effect, as people began to approve of Trump more as the convention was taking place! Just about every aspect of the DNC Convention was a disaster for Democrats, particularly as they allowed for people to contribute in their chats with impunity. By which I mean that they had no real security system or method of authentication, so anyone who wanted to log into their streams and troll the crap out of them could easily do so by creating any random e-mail address on the spot, creating a random password and a random username. That was literally all that was necessary to interact with the chats, which were often bombarded by trolls with people going by usernames like “Creepy Uncle Joe”, “1/1024 Native American”, “Biden has Dementia”, “Hunter”, and “Kamala Invented the School to Prison Pipeline”, with all leaving funny messages to troll the DNC. The issue was so bad, they often had to disable the chat in each of the individual panels that they were hosting. So yeah, this season’s DNC Convention was not exactly what the Democrats were hoping to get out of it. Sure, they got to attack Trump with whatever b.s. lie they wanted, including perpetuating the “fine people” hoax, and got to display their communist and insane demands to defund the police, abolish ICE and destroying Capitalism, but it very clearly cost them, to some extent or another. Not only was their viewership in the tank compared to even 2016’s convention, but the people who were brave or crazy enough to sit through it were getting turned off by the Democrats and began to support Trump just a little bit more, as evidenced by the fact that not only did he have 51% total approval, but he also had 38% strong approval and had a +3 net rating, with 48% disapproval, the first time he’s flipped it in a while. People aren’t excited to vote for Biden and the people that made the decision to watch the convention were quickly turning towards Trump. As I’ve said in the past, Trump isn’t running against Biden, but against voter fraud, but little enthusiasm for Biden won’t exactly help the Democrat either. Psalm 55:23 “But you, O God, will cast them down into the pit of destruction; men of blood and treachery shall not live out half their days. But I will trust in you.”
