One common theme in a few of my latest articles is that anything a Trump ever does is considered a crime, suspicious or, in general, wrong, in the Left’s mind. Trump Jr. meeting with the Russian lawyer has been considered part of the “collusion” narrative, even though it was a complete nothing-burger. The president meeting with French president Macron and his wife and saying something nice to her is considered sexist. And now, Trump talking with Putin at a G20 Summit dinner means that there was collusion.
ANYTHING TRUMP EVER DOES OR SAYS IS WRONG IN THEIR EYES! He could literally tell someone “Nice weather we’re having”, and the Left would slam Trump for being a climate-denier.
Trump talking with Putin (through a translator, of course) at a dinner means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! But, of course, it means everything to the Left. On CNN, Sen. Chris Coons said that Trump’s reliance on Putin’s translator was “a basic failure in terms of national security protocol.” And that Trump “needed to know, from an American perspective, what was being said.”, according to CNS news.
Sure, if you’re discussing world politics or business deals, you need your own translator, in whom you can trust. But not if you’re discussing, say, the weather. There WAS a translator there, he was just Putin’s translator. Obviously, that translator knew English, otherwise he WOULDN’T BE A TRANSLATOR! So if Trump wanted to have a nice, friendly chat with Putin that had nothing to do with politics, he DIDN’T NEED HIS OWN TRANSLATOR! To say that it’s “a basic failure in terms of national security protocol” is going off of the assumption that they were discussing politics or business, or something along those lines.
So wouldn’t the fact that Trump didn’t have his own translator mean that what they were discussing wasn’t politics or business? Trump isn’t the moron the Left makes him out to be. HE BEAT THEM, AFTER ALL! He was smart enough to beat the Left at every turn during the election, and up to this point. So he knows that, if he was discussing politics or business with Putin, that he would need his own translator with him. And that whole, “Trump needed to know… what was said” statement is ridiculous. He knew what was said. THEY HAD A TRANSLATOR THERE!
Sen. Coons then noted that no one knows what the two men talked about. “That’s exactly the point”, he said. “He was publicly seen by our allies, by critical heads of state with whom they’re trying to sustain our alliances, to snub them and take the time to invest a great deal of individual one-on-one time with Putin, relying on his translator.” Is it wrong to try to make friends with a country that isn’t really a U.S. ally? To the Left, it is. Well, at least now. It used to be that Russia was the Left’s best friend. But now, they are stabbing them in the back by blaming them of collusion against Hillary.
During that summit, there was plenty of time for Trump to speak with America’s allies. He DID speak with them. But now he’s trying to at least act friendly with Putin and the Left thinks they’re planning their “next election heist”. He didn’t snub anyone at the summit by speaking with Russia. In fact, isn’t it considered being a good leader to TRY TO STRENGTHEN RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER COUNTRIES? If Trump were to make the U.S.-Russia relationship stronger, why is that a bad thing? Because that’s not what the Left wants.
They don’t want the U.S. to be friends with Russia. They want the U.S. to not be the world’s leader and let Russia take over that role. That’s what Obama was trying to do during his 8 years! He didn’t want America to be the world’s leader. He wanted to weaken America and drop its standing in the world. He was successful, to an extent, in both. Now, Trump is doing everything he can to undo what Obama did and is doing his best to make the world’s second strongest nation our ally while letting the world know that America is always will be the world’s leader. (At least for as long as it is run by good people and not liberals.)
The Left thinks Trump is “too close and too friendly with Putin”. To them, that means that there is inarguable proof that there was collusion. To me, it means that Trump is being a good LEADER and doing one of the jobs he was elected to do.
Like I said: everything Trump does or says is either criminal, suspicious, or flat-out wrong in the eyes of the Left. But all of that is derived from the false narrative that Trump colluded with Russia during the election. Every single one of us logical people knows that there’s absolutely nothing there and it’s just one massive excuse for the Left as to why they were beaten.
They label Trump a cheater, but have zero evidence to support their claim. This will wind up as being a nothing-burger as much as everything else relating to this subject has been. EVERYTHING the Left brings up on this issue will wind up as being a nothing-burger. But like I’ve said in the past: that doesn’t matter. They’ll always run this narrative, no matter the fact that there will never be any actual evidence of collusion.
They’ll always run this story, not to prove that it’s true, but to tell future voters that Trump is a cheater, a bad guy and that future voters should vote for them because they’re not cheaters and bad guys (even though we offer plenty of evidence to the contrary on this website alone). It’s about destroying Trump’s character and reputation. It’s, much like nearly everything else relating to the Left, about DECEPTION.
2 Corinthians 11:13-14
“For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.”
