The White House released the whistleblower’s complaint for the public to read recently, after having first released the transcript of the phone call President Donald Trump had with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Having read both documents, it becomes clear that the whistleblower’s complaint was nothing more than hearsay and unproven allegations. The whistleblower (who is being reported as being a CIA officer, according to the NYT) begins his or her complaint by alleging that Donald Trump, in his call with Zelensky, was attempting to undermine the 2020 U.S. elections: “In the course of my official duties, I have received information from multiple U.S. Government officials that the President of the United States is using the power of his office to solicit interference from a foreign country in the 2020 U.S. election. This interference includes, among other things, pressuring a foreign country to investigate one of the President’s main domestic political rivals,” read part of the complaint. What we read here is a clear attempt to use the Russian collusion narrative’s talking points to make it look like Trump is at it again and will do it all once again to win in 2020. He/she cites “multiple U.S. Government officials”, which are all, of course, anonymous, so they could not exist for all we know, and he/she asserts that the investigation into Hunter Biden was at the top of Trump’s priorities during the phone call. But as I said in the article where I discussed the transcript of the phone call, the main thing Trump asked for as his “favor” (which has been twisted by the fake news media as being a mafia-style shakedown to look into the Bidens) is to look into the Crowdstrike thing, which has connections to Ukraine, as part of the investigation into the Russian collusion hoax. So right off the bat, the whistleblower, who him/herself later admits was not “a direct witness to most of the events described”, is alleging that Trump is trying to collude with a foreign power to influence the 2020 Presidential elections, citing what he/she heard from “multiple… government officials”. Allow me to share with you the definition of hearsay: “Information received from other people that one cannot adequately substantiate; rumor.” What’s more, the law definition of hearsay is: “the report of another person’s words by a witness, which is usually disallowed as evidence in a court of law.” The whistleblower’s complaint wouldn’t even be held up as evidence in a court of law, and yet, the lunatic Leftists in the Democrat Party are running with it as though it is Gospel from Christ Himself. The complaint later on attempts to describe the talking points of the phone call, and while some topics were rather accurate, the way it was presented in the complaint is totally inaccurate: “Early in the morning of 25 July, the President spoke by telephone with Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky… Multiple White House officials with direct knowledge of the call informed me that, after an initial exchange of pleasantries, the President used the remainder of the call to advance his personal interests. Namely, he sought to pressure the Ukrainian leader to take actions to help the President’s 2020 reelection bid. According to the White House officials who had direct knowledge of the call, the President pressured Mr. Zelensky to, inter alia: initiate or continue an investigation(2) into the activities of former Vice President Joseph Biden and his son, Hunter Biden; assist in purportedly uncovering that allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election originated in Ukraine, with a specific request that the Ukrainian leader locate and turn over servers used by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and examined by the U.S. cyber security firm Crowdstrike(3), which initially reported that Russian hackers had penetrated the DNC’s networks in 2016; and meet or speak with two people the President named explicitly as his personal envoys on these matter [sic], Mr. Giuliani and Attorney General Barr, to whom the President referred multiple times in tandem.” The only things accurate about this is the date on which the call took place and the pleasantries that were shared. The President DID NOT pressure Ukraine into doing anything. There was no threat made and no quid pro quo present in the transcript of the phone call. The 2020 U.S. Presidential election was not even DISCUSSED during the call. The DNC was not discussed either, only Crowdstrike due to its relation with Ukraine. What’s more, it was Zelensky, not Trump, who brought up investigations, discussing an ambassador whom he had recalled and assuring Trump that he would do what he could to ensure “all the investigations will be done openly and candidly.” This is what Trump used to segue and mention the particular prosecutor, whom had been shut down by Biden, as Biden himself admitted on camera. Zelensky himself then went on about how he had been intending to continue the investigation into Hunter Biden’s company, with Trump asking that he might also look into the shutting down of the prosecutor, as it does appear to be a very obvious case of corruption and abuse of power by the former Vice President. Trump asking Zelensky to look into seemingly criminal activity with relation to a top Ukrainian prosecutor and a cybersecurity firm with connections to the former Ukrainian government is what the Democrats want to hang Trump for. It’s not the criminals that should be punished, but the person asking for justice, in the mind of the Left. And again, it’s not like this was at the top of Trump’s priorities. They didn’t begin discussing these things until pages 3 and 4 of a 5-page transcript of a phone call (it’s that short because there’d be no point in putting in what the translators said, when they were just repeating the words said by the two world leaders in the other’s language). The point of the call seemingly was to congratulate Zelensky on more election victories and to discuss the relationship our two countries have. Later on, Trump asked if they could look into the Crowdstrike issue as the DOJ is currently looking into the source of the Russian collusion scandal and it might have begun in Ukraine, with former Ukrainian government officials. No pressure, no threat to withhold a billion dollars (unlike a certain corrupt former VP), no quid pro quo. Only justice. As far as the whistleblower complaint goes, it does not describe the events of the phone call very well. It tries to twist what occurred during the call into something Machiavellian when there was nothing there at all that was inappropriate or illegal. And the funny thing is that the complaint also included a complaint regarding the “locking down” and “restricting” of access to the records of the call. Part of the complaint was that government officials wanted the call to be restricted from most officials EVEN THOUGH THAT IS PERFECTLY NORMAL! “In the days following the phone call, I learned from multiple U.S. officials that senior White House officials had intervened to ‘lock down’ all records of the phone call, especially the word-for-word transcript of the call that was produced – as is customary – by the White House Situation Room. This set of actions underscored to me that White House officials understood the gravity of what had transpired in the call.” What a lying sad sack. Phone calls between foreign leaders ARE CLASSIFIED YOU LOON! Only a select few people are allowed to listen in on the conversation, otherwise it would be very easy to get access to the phone calls, which would pose a national security risk. Trump had to DECLASSIFY the transcript of the call BECAUSE IT WAS CLASSIFIED TO BEGIN WITH AS ARE ALL OTHER CALLS BETWEEN FOREIGN LEADERS! Obama had many phone calls with foreign leaders, all of which are classified and senior White House officials had to “lock down” and “restrict”. This is yet another attempt at making a mountain out of a molehill; to make the normal appear to be abnormal just because Trump does it. And the funniest part is that this part of the complaint, as useless as it was to begin with, is made utterly irrelevant by the fact that Trump has declassified the transcript of the phone call, so everyone with an internet connection has access to it. The whistleblower complaint is nothing more than hearsay and nonsense. The details described in the complaint do not match what was said during the phone call even a little and they try to pretend that what was said was an impeachable offense, down to even trying to restrict access to the records of the call. It fundamentally does nothing for the Democrats in trying to impeach Trump. The facts do not support the reality these lunatics are trying to create. No amount of editing from the fake news media or “parody” paraphrasing from Adam “full of” Schiff will change the fact that this “scandal” is the Russian-collusion hoax 2.0, which will end in the exact same cataclysmic failure that the first rendition did.
