While online, I often see posts talking about what the fake news media is saying about this thing or that thing, usually pertaining either to Brandon or the pandemic or Brandon’s handling of the pandemic (interestingly, they aren’t pulling punches on him with the lack of COVID tests). But for the most part, I no longer care what the fake news media has to say about anything. The reason for this is that it’s a dying medium. I recently saw this graphic depicting media ratings in Q3 of 2021 showing Joe Rogan’s podcast compared to news media, including Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity: Rogan far outperforms all other news media, and alternative media sources make the mainstream media obsolete. So when I see posts saying “fake news is saying this”, for the most part, I say “who cares? They’re irrelevant now and have long lost their monopoly on information”. However, there are instances where I think it is rather relevant what they are saying: when they basically attack their own side. And this is what CNN’s Brian Stelter did recently. On his show on Sunday, one of fake news media’s biggest idiots (though perhaps only #3 within CNN itself), reported on the CDC’s credibility during a time in which most people are done with the pandemic and couldn’t care less what the CDC was saying anymore. Stelter began with a poll depicting most Americans agreeing that there is a mental health crisis in the U.S., with a researcher saying of that poll that many Americans are feeling despair because they don’t know when this madness will end. And Stelter used the word “madness” himself. “Now, there’s a segment of Americans who tuned out the pandemic a while ago. They dropped the masks, they moved on, despite entreaties from public health officials. Some of them are unvaccinated and at high risk right now due to Omicron,” said Stelter, some true and that last bit utterly untrue, because the fake news media will always deliver fake news. “But I want to focus on the other segment of Americans, those who are vaccinated, who are paying attention to the pandemic, and are hearing about Omicron and school closures and testing troubles and all the rest. This moment in the pandemic is really complicated because a mostly mild variant is still bringing hospitals to the brink of capacity and care (not true, as most people tend to go to the hospital for different reasons and are diagnosed with COVID while staying there, artificially inflating the numbers of COVID hospitalizations, but again, fake news will fake news). And a lot of people are confused about what to do and about what to believe.” “Now, many doctors are doing an amazing juggling act, given these circumstances. And yet, I think we’re also potentially seeing and hearing from doomsday doctors who push people toward even more fear, anxiety, and depression.” I remind you, this is CNN’s Brian Stelter saying this, which would get pretty much anyone banned on social media. “I’m not trying to call out anybody in particular,” Stelter continued. “I think this is obviously really nuanced. But is there an undue amount of fear being spread, especially in those Twitter threads and Facebook posts, and in corners of cable TV where it feels like COVID zero is the only goal? COVID zero, of course, the idea that you can completely eliminate COVID from the environment, which is an impossibility.” Stelter then brought on a couple of guests, one of them being a doctor in Washington, who agreed that “we are bathing in fear,” and when she’s on social media, she’s “trying to help people understand that, look, your risk for COVID is as different as someone else’s. And revving the emotional engines of people’s anxiety only does harm.” The other guest was CNN’s Oliver Darcy, to whom Stelter asked a rather surprising question: “Is the media at this point out of touch with the public about COVID?” The simple answer is that it is out of touch with the public about everything, let alone the Chinese coronavirus, but Darcy surprisingly says that yes, it is out of touch (regarding COVID, at least). “[A] lot of the media does seem, when I look at it and travel the country, to be very out of touch with people. I mean, if you travel the country, people are not really living in the same bubble that, it seems, that most of the media is messaging toward.” “And so… I think this is an issue because if people are tuning out what’s going on in cable news, if we’re not messaging toward the general population, they’re just ignoring everything and living their lives, and we’re not really getting the information that they need to them.” Stelter then showed a clip from Savannah Guthrie interviewing the CDC director, where Stelter said “It is so sad but it’s true. The CDC has turned into a punch line”: “All of this mixed messages or new messages has led to a meme on social media poking fun at the CDC’s advice, tweets like, CDC now recommends eating straight off the floor at Waffle House. The CDC now says it’s in fact okay to eat Tide Pods. The CDC says go ahead and get bangs. You know, it’s amusing, people letting off steam, of course. But is there a larger credibility problem with your agency right now?” Stelter answers Guthrie’s question: “And the answer is yes, there’s a huge credibility crisis for the CDC.” The segment ended with Darcy and Stelter agreeing that people aren’t really paying attention to what the CDC is saying and to what the articles and news reports are saying, such as stories throughout Thanksgiving and Christmas about “advising” people to take “precautions” that people didn’t listen to (thankfully), and agreeing that the news media needs to come up with “realistic solutions and advice to the general public when talking about COVID.” This is surprisingly introspective of one of the worst repeat offenders of fake news deliverance (though they did still say bullcrap even in this segment) and depicts just how little credibility the CDC has now. No one believes them, including CNN, and everyone agrees they are delivering contradictory and confusing messages. This is awfully similar to the last article I wrote, where Germans were distrustful of their government’s figures regarding Omicron infections and hospitalizations, and like the article I wrote where the French were also distrustful of scientists for delivering confusing and contradictory messages. It used to be that someone who got the shot once was vaccinated. That changed to two shots. Now, it’s three but will be four soon and five not long after. People who were smug about being vaccinated and getting special “rights” (which they didn’t see as wrong or discriminatory because such people are jerks) all of a sudden were pushed back down to “unvaccinated” status. They became the dregs of society they see us as on a mere whim by a man drunk on power and fame (whose time will soon end, if even the fake news media is beginning to not believe the hype). Regarding masking, they were to wear masks everywhere, with a few exceptions such as parties and restaurants if they are in the process of eating or drinking something. Even then, those who most push for the mandating of such rules repeatedly ignored or broke such mandates when it came to their own personal desires, such as going to dinner or getting a haircut. Oh, and for a while, we were talking about people having to wear as many as two or three masks at once, but that has seemingly died down ever since. And regarding early treatment, they ignore basically everything in favor of pushing poison when Joe Rogan, whom earlier I mentioned far outperforms the mainstream media in terms of viewership, got COVID last year and was fine after three days thanks to taking Ivermectin, which idiots still refer to as “horse dewormer.” You can only tell so many lies to people until the complicated web begins to untangle. Cracks will begin to show, inconsistencies will begin to be seen, and questions begin to be raised. And when those who raise such questions, not in defiance but in genuine curiosity, are threatened with suspensions and bans from social media or elsewhere, being compared to outright Nazis (because these people are historically illiterate), that’s only going to cause more and more people to stand against the bullcrap they are seeing. The veil is being lifted. It’s only a matter of time, then, until the tyrants suffer the consequences of their actions. If the Australian government can treat Novak Djokovic as poorly as they are, they can treat others even worse (and they are, as I have already written). But they and all the others who have taken advantage of people’s fears will soon meet their end, not only politically but legally. Let it rain Nuremberg Trial 2.0’s. Psalm 56:3-4 “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?”
