Those who have experienced communism/socialism have, obviously, first-hand accounts as to what happens under such systems. And unless they belong to the establishment, or are outright mentally retarded, those who have experienced communism will tell you just how awful of a system it is and how much better capitalism (actual capitalism, not this crony crap we have currently) is by comparison.
Rapper Pitbull, whose real name is Armando Christian Perez, is one such person, as he is a first-generation Cuban-American and his family has suffered at the hands of communism and the Castro regime. So, in a recent performance, he seemingly felt compelled to express his pro-American and anti-communist beliefs.
“To whoever the f*** doesn’t like the United States of America, may God bless you, but f*** you at the same time. If you don’t like the United States of America, go back to the countries that we the f*** [are] from, and you’ll see how much you appreciate the United States of America.”
While this might be the first time I have talked about Pitbull, this is not the first time he has spoken out either in favor of this country or against the communist system that infects his home nation of Cuba.
During a recent interview, he expressed more anti-communist beliefs and his appreciation for this country, and even his disbelief that we have destroyed liberty over a virus:
“The reason I can have this conversation is because my family comes from communism, they fled communism, they had everything taken away from them, everybody got murdered, everybody got killed. That’s the reason me, being a first-generation Cuban-American… I look at freedom and I appreciate that s***. I appreciate opportunity. I appreciate anything that you give me… And, that comes from the fact that when Castro took over everything, and I’m looking at what’s going on right now – the only person here that’s hot… it’s Castro. He’s going, ‘Y’all did it with a virus? S***. Y’all took over the world with a virus? Y’all gotta be kidding me.’”
“In this day and age, I’m hoping that people see: as quick as you get it… come quick, leave quick,” the rapper continued. “When it comes to this technology, that’s exactly what it is. You got instant gratification and think you can touch many people, as quick as they [are] gonna pull it from you.”
Pitbull then went on to encourage politicians and people of great influence and wealth to get involved with the crisis in Cuba, where mass protests have been going on (not that it’s all that talked about, particularly after the regime cut the internet following the protests) for the past couple of months:
“This is a message to the world. We need to stand up, step up. But if you don’t understand what’s going on, then you need to wake the f*** up. Not only is this a Cuba event, a Cuba thing, this is a world event. This isn’t about politics. This is about saving lives. This is about unity, not division. And bottom line, it’s about taking action. Let me tell you something, why I’m frustrated and when I see everybody out there and doing what they’re doing, which I love what they’re doing. Okay, because not only do we live for freedom, we ride for freedom, we die for freedom but we mother***ing appreciate freedom.”
“And it gets me hot, it bothers me, and it frustrates me to a certain extent, being a Cuban American, and having a platform to speak to the world and not being able to help my own people, not being able to get them food, not being able to get them water, not being able to get them medicine,” Pitbull continued. “But most of all, not being able to help and really get them what they deserve, which is freedom. And this is my way of talking to the world. All world allies get together to help. Global businesses get together to help. People that we’re so proud of, people such as Jeff Bezos, a Cuban American, graduated from high school in Miami, built one of the biggest companies in the world, the richest man in the world. He’s somebody that can get involved and really help us and what we got. All we can do is create awareness, but politics are gonna be polititricks.”
“And while they figure out what they figure out, we need to figure out how to really help,” added the rapper. “We need to get creative, we need to figure out solutions while they’re losing their lives over there literally for something that we wake up every day and appreciate, which is freedom. So to everybody out there, stand up, step up. And if you don’t understand, get with the mother***ing program and wake up because this is about freedom and it’s about human rights. And to everybody in Cuba, keep the fight up.”
This is generally what a lot of people feel and understand, even if it’s a bit more expletive-filled. Hell, even I dropped an expletive when the illegitimate president expressed his desire to screw liberty and force a vaccine on people who neither want one nor need one. So the general feeling of “screw you if you want to take away my freedoms”, in a more expletive sense, is certainly there.
Like Pitbull suggested, people who don’t understand what communism is really about ought to spend some time in communist countries and then they would begin to appreciate the founding principles of this country. And I mean the ACTUAL founding principles, not the bullcrap Leftist woke dumbassery of “this country was founded on slavery.”
Anyone who is even relatively familiar with our founding principles understands what a load of crap that is, as every founding document makes the assertion that we are created free and equal, equal in the sense that no entity can force itself upon us and dominate and enslave us. It’s these founding documents and principles which served as the basis for the abolition of slavery, which would have naturally been phased out of our country were it not for the invention of the cotton gin, which made slave plantations extremely lucrative.
As I have said in prior articles, the U.S. government stopped the influx of slaves shortly after the founding of our country and believed slavery would eventually become too impractical to survive as an institution, and until the invention of the cotton gin, that’s the direction it was going.
This is part of our history and it’s what anyone with an internet connection can find, but which a Leftist indoctrination leads people to deny. The reality of our country is that it was founded based on the principles of liberty. Unfortunately, as time has gone on, that liberty became gradually more eroded, until today, we have people who actually and literally believe you shouldn’t have a say as to what you put into your body.
While Pitbull didn’t explicitly mention vaccine mandates, he did allude to the idea that the establishment “took over the world with a virus.” Despite everything we know about how mild the virus is, to the point where fewer people died in 2020 than did in years prior, we act as though it’s a practical death sentence to get the Chinese coronavirus and that we need to destroy all institutions of liberty to “protect” us from said virus.
And it’s typically those who hate this country who have gone along with the idea of destroying personal liberty, which is why Pitbull is as frustrated as he is and why he said what he said. While I have my problems with the way the country is run now and with how things currently are, there is no shortage of love for this country from me. In fact, it’s because of that love for this country that I wish to see the problems that we see resolved and the way things are to change.
I love capitalism, but hate this crony socialist-lite crap that we currently have and which has been exposed to be around in the last couple of years. I love the U.S. but hate the establishment that thinks is in charge of it.
When coming to this country, I was sold on the idea that this was the land of the free and the home of the brave. That this was the land of opportunity and that if you wanted to make something of yourself, you could. None of it was true, or at least, as true as I was led to believe. What country can claim to be the land of the free when your political, and now medical, beliefs can get you fired or generally castigated? What country can claim to be the home of the brave when you have soldiers being indoctrinated into Marxism and believing that it’s more important to accurately sexually identify people than defeating your enemies? What country can claim to be the land of opportunity when your beliefs can get you cancelled and stripped of all opportunities to live a better life?
I don’t know if this country ever achieved the aspirations of the founding principles (in large part because people are naturally evil), but those aspirations must still be there and definitely still are there in many people.
We wouldn’t be seeing the pushback that we are if we weren’t of the belief that, if this country isn’t as free and as great as it could be or has claimed to be, we can make it so. We just need to be able to defeat, politically, practically and ideologically, those who hate this country and want to see it come to ruin.
And I’m glad that someone like Pitbull is conscious enough to stand on the right side.
“The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”
