A little less than a month ago, I wrote about how annoying controlling Leftists are in how they, often crudely, order people to wear masks because it’s “patriotic” or “selfless” or “will help crush COVID” or whatever else they were saying. In that article, I also talked about a Danish study which showed that masks were “statistically insignificant” regarding protection for the wearer (or, in other words, they don’t work). Well, now, we come back to this topic from a different angle: people are wearing their masks and the “solution” hasn’t solved jack. A common pro-mask argument is that virtually everyone should wear masks, that way, we’d be able to crush the virus and return to normal. The problem is that people are doing exactly that, and it’s clearly not working. On December 7th, New York Governor and infamous Grandma Killer Andrew Cuomo tweeted: “Hospitalizations are going up. Wear. A. Mask.” There have been nearly 800,000 cases in New York, with more than 35,000 deaths. Pretty bad, but is it the fault of the New Yorkers? Because, according to a mask-compliance tracker from Carnegie Mellon University, 96% of all people in the state of New York wear masks as instructed. More specifically in the New York metro area (the biggest populations), 97% of people wear masks. If masks work and virtually everyone (96% average for the state) is wearing a mask, then why are hospitalizations going up? And why focus on hospitalizations? Why not focus on deaths? Maybe because the number of deaths (which is contested enough as it is) is considerably smaller than cases, so it’s less likely to scare people into compliance? What’s a scarier number to hear: that the U.S. has reached more than 15 million cases (even that is just 4% of the total population) or that around 300,000 people have died from it (less than 0.1% of the population)? But at any rate, as I was saying, if things still aren’t looking great, as Cuomo alludes here, but virtually every New Yorker is complying with mask mandates and guidelines, then what does that tell you about the masks? This is a point we shall revisit over and over in this article. Moving on, California Governor Gavin Newsom also has tweeted plenty about the virus. In a recent tweet on December 8th, he tweeted: “COVID-19 hospitalizations have increased dramatically over the last two months nationwide. Wee [sic] need to put data and science at the forefront and get through this surge together. Wear a mask. Stay home. Be safe.” Oh, how I wish these infuriating jackasses would practice what they preach when talking about following the science. Same as with NY, California hospitalizations seem to be going up. Governor Newsom has made it a requirement to wear a mask since June 19th. And Californians are pretty obedient, with a 95% compliance rate for the state. In the San Francisco metro area, you find 97% mask compliance. In Sacramento, where the governor lives and works, there is a 95% compliance rate (though Newsom and his friends appear to be part of the 5% who don’t comply). Similarly, Los Angeles county sees 95% mask compliance. So if hospitalizations are going up and everyone is wearing their masks, what does that tell you about the masks? New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy gives daily Chinese coronavirus updates on his Twitter account. In every one of them, he points to new cases, as well as total cases, new deaths and total deaths, and always says “Mask up. Social distance,” or something akin to such orders. CMU’s tracker finds that 95% of New Jersey residents comply with mask mandates/guidelines. Many people throughout the country wear masks as ordered, required, or encouraged to do. Even Wyoming, the state with the least compliance in the country, sees 80% of residents routinely wearing masks. What we find as a result, if we are still fighting this virus, is that the guidelines and policies instituted by “scientists” and politicians have not worked anywhere close to advertised. Now, I am not stupid, I know that combating a virus would take time and no “solution” provided would ever be a quick one. But consider that we have outright been PROMISED by these people that “if only everyone wore masks, we’d beat this virus.” Everyone’s wearing masks and we haven’t beaten the virus. That is a stupid and unrealistic argument to make, yet many take it, still, as gospel. Matter of fact, before this, I didn’t know myself how many people wore masks. I was under the impression, since these jackasses continually tell people to wear masks, that maybe no more than 75% of the country, at most, was actually complying with the mask orders. I don’t live in a state where everyone is crazy about wearing masks, and often times do not see people wearing masks when out on the street, so I figured there was a solid percentage of people out there who routinely did not comply with the mask orders, but that number is a lot smaller than I imagined. Again, virtually everyone is wearing a mask, and things have not gone the way the “experts” and politicians said they would. “15 days to slow the spread” has turned into “nine months to scrutinize the one guy at Walmart who doesn’t wear a mask and call the police on someone for refusing to wear a mask.” “Flatten the curve” has turned into “flatten the economy and you are a grandma killer if you want to open back up.” The American people have made great sacrifices in this pandemic and have, perhaps naively, trusted the people we have elected into power with actually being competent enough and decent enough to effectively combat this virus, listen to the actual science (which, by definition, is bound to change as we discover new things about the virus) and not be total hypocrites about following the rules they impose on everyone else. These tyrants have taken people’s actual fears about the virus (which have been greatly overblown thanks to the fake news media which pretends as though the Chinese virus is the black death) and taken advantage of it. A scared population will do whatever you tell them to. That much is clear given these mask compliance statistics. More than showcase that masks don’t work, this showcases how evil many politicians are. Even those we once considered patriotic conservatives have shown their true colors by either turning into mini-dictators themselves or by being scared of the bad press they would get if they did not conform to the idea that getting the virus was practically a death sentence, so people HAD to obey everything they were told. There is a reason the good people of Ohio booed their governor and Lt. Governor at a Trump rally when they insisted on people wearing masks and social distancing: these two bozos are, at best, scared of what the media will say about them and at worst no better than some of the most egregious Democrat tyrants. Despite all the evidence that masks don’t work, especially not as advertised, these people will still push for the junk science that “everyone needs to wear masks”. They use junk science that pushes the idea that they do actually work, in spite of the fact that so many people wear them and things seemingly are still extremely bad. And, by the way, I’m only taking these fork-tongued jackals at their word that hospitalizations are up. Such a vague statement could mean a less than 1% increase from a relatively small number. For someone like Cuomo to say this means nothing to me, after he refused to use the Navy hospital ship for the very purpose Trump sent it there. That ship barely saw any sort of use for treating people with the Chinese coronavirus, or even people who needed to go to the hospital for reasons apart from the virus. It barely saw any action, and then Cuomo has the nerve to cry “hospitalizations are up”? It’s not that he cares about New Yorkers and their health – it’s that he enjoys the power that he can wield on them. Using actually good resources to fight the virus would have been antithetical to his desires to control his population and, as a bonus, to help beat Trump. After all, he continually blamed every mistake he made on Trump and the “Feds”, and the media happily went along with it, blaming hundreds of thousands of deaths on Trump alone, despite the governors having a hell of a lot more to do with that number. Now, virtually none of what I’m saying here is new. We all knew, for some time now, that masks did not work, particularly close to as advertised. We all knew that these people are tyrants and jackals – demanding people social distancing and not go outside their homes if they didn’t need to while declaring racism a “public health crisis” and allowing BLM protests and riots following the death of George Floyd (not to mention his 700 massive funerals). But all of this serves to further showcase just what kind of evil pieces of crap many Americans have to deal with, in some cases, by choice. While I, at this point, don’t doubt many Democrats are in power due to election fraud, there are still plenty of people out there who look at this tyranny and think “yeah, this is going great!” Plenty of people out there who mock or insult those who have lost their jobs due to an unnecessary lockdown. Plenty of people out there who made the conscious (though, arguably, without a conscience to speak of) decision to vote for Joe Biden and a slew of other Democrats. In many cases, plenty of people voted into power the pieces of crap currently ruining their lives while enriching the elites. However, I seriously doubt that that’s a majority in this country. We need to wrestle away the power that these tyrants have taken for themselves. It’s the only way to protect our freedoms and our Republic. Daniel 2:21 “He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.”
