We all have heard the leftist adage that truth is relative: ‘God may be real to you but He’s not real to me’; or ‘I don’t believe in the Bible, I think all religions are true’; or the most recent fallacy ‘Not my president’, as if they could choose to reject a democratically elected president. This happens because the left wants to relativize everything, given the truth is so inconvenient to them. They think if you were born a girl, it’s OK if you identify yourself as male. You don’t have to accept the truth that biologically you’re a female – you can erase that because everything is relative, you see. Never mind that science says you’re a female. Since everything is relative, it’s OK to kill a baby in his mother’s womb – if the mother doesn’t want her baby, then he’s not human, the left tells you. And on the topic of killing people, it’s OK for the left to want to kill Republican congressmen because in their mind killing in and of itself isn’t a bad thing when you’re killing Republicans. Let’s face it, they’ve been killing Republicans since the Democrats founded the KKK with the specific mission of KILLING BLACK REPUBLICANS. It’s the same mindset that drives many relativist progressives to take trips to North Korea. In North Korea relativism also works – after all, relativism is a leftist invention. As you probably know, the regime in North Korea has massacred hundreds of people under the current leadership of Kim Jong Un. Communism has murdered more than 100 million people in all the countries it’s been implemented: from North Korea, to the former Soviet Union, to China to Cuba. In these countries KILLING PEOPLE isn’t against the law – only killing CERTAIN people, like communist government officials, is. The government reserves the right to kill you if they so desire. It’s relativism at its best…or worst, rather. When you accept everything is relative, then murder may or may not be considered murder. It depends on who the victim is. Now, relativism is a FALLACY. The TRUTH is ABSOLUTE. It’s not relative. It doesn’t depend on your feelings. It's the reason we call it 'the' truth and not 'a' truth. In fact, it’s ILLOGICAL to think of truth as being relative. Things cannot, at the same time, BE and NOT BE. When you have two contradicting statements only one can be true. For example: Either there is a God or there is no God. If you don’t believe in God and I believe in God, only one of us can be right. Either there is a God or there isn’t, regardless of what each one of us believes. It’s called the law of non-contradiction. Contradictory statements cannot be simultaneously true, because contradictions are mutually exclusive. I hear often times, when I have these discussions with leftists, that the Schrodinger’s cat paradox is a clear example of how the truth is relative. Except that leftists who use this paradox don’t fully understand its meaning. Paradox, by the way, is a statement that SEEMS like a contradiction, but it’s not. The Schrodinger’s cat paradox involves a cat in a closed box supposedly poisoned by radiation. Until the box is opened, according to this paradox, you have to consider the cat simultaneously dead and alive. What the left misses about this paradox is the cat is, truthfully, either dead or alive, regardless of what we think. When we open the box, we’ll know. But the fact that we don’t know prior to us opening the box doesn’t cause the cat to be dead AND alive at the same time. There’s only ONE truth – the cat is either dead OR alive. It can’t be both. Now, this is something a 2-year old will easily understand, apparently until they reach elementary school and are exposed to liberal indoctrination. Nevertheless it’s this relativism that causes them to fly to North Korea ‘just to see it’. What would possess someone with a basic level of critical thinking to go to North Korea ‘just to see it’? Why would you risk your life to visit a country just to see what a murderous regime does to its people? And to you? Anyone who knows anything about North Korea and who understands the law of non-contradiction will reject the idea of visiting that country – or Cuba or Afghanistan or Iran. I can understand missionaries. But regular folks with full understanding of the law of non-contradiction will never consider going. As you know Otto Warmbier, the American who ‘just wanted to see North Korea’ and who was held hostage in a North Korean prison for about a year, died last week as a result of massive brain loss, possibly resulting from torture. The left actually mocked him multiple times, with Affinity magazine tweeting: ‘watch whiteness work. He wasn’t a “kid” or “innocent” you can’t go to another country and try to steal from them. Respect their laws’. Yes, Affinity Magazine doesn’t think Warmbier should have broken North Korean law, but they’re OK with illegal immigrants breaking our laws. Relativism, again… North Korea is ruled by a MURDERER. There’s nothing relative to this fact.
North Korea is a TERRIBLE destination for ANYONE who loves life. None of these realities are RELATIVE. They’re ABSOLUTE. The cat is either dead or alive. Kim Jong Un is either a murderer or he isn’t. I pray for Warmbier and his family. I wish his parents had stopped him before he boarded that plane. You can’t have your children buy into this ‘relativism’ the left pushes. It can cost them their lives. There’s only one truth. Either God exists or He doesn’t. Either Hillary is a crook or she isn’t. Either killing babies is wrong or it isn’t. Either killing Republicans is wrong or it isn’t. Either the cat is dead or it’s alive. The problem with the left is not that they’re too stupid to understand this basic principle – it’s that the truth is inconvenient. You see, if the law of non-contradiction is applicable to the cat or to North Korea being a murderous regime, then it also applies to GOD. God either exists or He doesn’t…but if He does, they’re TERRIFIED at the consequences – as they should be. In case there's any doubt: God exists. Hillary is a crook. Kim Jong Un is a murderer. Killing babies is wrong and killing ANYONE is wrong. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
