We’ve been hearing a lot lately about Obama’s ‘shadow government’ – leftist activists infiltrated into our government bureaucracies. Obama’s communists have infiltrated our various Secretaries, intelligence agencies and government offices. It’s truly a coup attempt by the left, which is the left’s last resource everywhere in the world. It was by force that Communists took over Cuba, China, North Korea, Vietnam…you name it. The only places where a less violent version of coups has been successful are Europe and Latin America. But there’s a HUGE difference between Latin America or Europe and the US – and this difference is key to understanding why this coup attempt won’t work. But before I tell you the specifics, let me just say this: I grew up in Latin America. I myself was a socialist – though I would NEVER have called myself a socialist. The propaganda you receive in those countries is intended for you to support BIG GOVERNMENT. From the left or from the right – big government is the ONLY solution that you are indoctrinated on. ‘To expand government is to expand the nation’ was one government motto. Now that I’m a US citizen, I've noticed that the left (and the establishment in general) has the same Modus Operandi here as they do in Latin America. Given the left's success in Latin America and Europe you would think think that it’s only a matter of time until they succeed here in the US as well – except there’s one key difference between the US and Latin America. What’s the difference? The Church You see, in Latin America, you have the ROMAN Catholic Church, which in that region is nothing but a ‘spiritual’ arm of the left. It is the dominant denomination and it's the reason why socialism is also dominant in the region. Just to give you one example, the most famous Bible verse there is not John 3:16, as it’s here, ‘For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life’. Nope. That’s not the best known Bible verse at all in Latin America. The very verse that spells out the love of God for us is not the most famous Bible verse in that region. Do you know which one is? This is very important – and think of the implications of growing up in Latin America believing this fallacy. The best know Bible verse in Latin America is the ROMAN Catholic Spanish version of Matthew 5:3 ‘Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven’. The English version says ‘poor in spirit’, which is another way of saying ‘those who know are sinners in the eyes of God’. In other words, those of us believers who understand we’re sinners and repent will go to heaven. That's, in a nutshell, what the verse means. But the Roman Catholic version in Latin America removes the term ‘in spirit’, leaving you with just 'the poor'. The Roman Catholic Church in Latin America teaches that only ‘the poor’ go to heaven. Matthew 5:3 has a parallel in Luke 6:20, which indeed removes the term ‘in spirit’. But Jesus’ point here wasn’t economic – it was a spiritual point he was trying to make. But the Roman Catholic Church doesn’t teach you that - it teaches conformism. Is it any wonder why Latin Americans are vastly POOR? They think they'll go to Heaven just by being poor! They’re bombarded with Socialist propaganda:
The lower classes in Latin America are convinced they’ll go to heaven, regardless of their beliefs. After all their priests are telling them that theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Communists infiltrated the Church DECADES ago and have convinced generations of Latin Americans that the surest way to heaven is through economic poverty. But God’s kingdom is granted by GRACE through FAITH. That’s all it takes – that’s what the PROTESTANT Church teaches us. God isn’t opposed to money: Abraham was wealthy. Job was wealthy. David was wealthy. God wants you to prosper, even financially. In the US the Protestant Church hasn’t been infiltrated by communists just yet – though it’s true that some denominations have been. For example, the Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA) supports ABORTION and GAY MARRIAGE. I never thought I’d find something worse than the ROMAN Catholic Church, but I have. The more conservative denomination of the Presbyterian Church is the PCA, or Presbyterian Church in America, which teaches the Word of God as it's written in the Bible. It's my Church. The bottomline is this: while Americans, much like Latin Americans, are bombarded with socialist propaganda from the Media, Hollywood, Democrats, etc, the fact of the matter is the Church hasn’t turned into a propaganda tool just yet. They’re trying – some denominations like the PCUSA are definitely going in the wrong direction, but they’re losing members as a result. The Protestant Church in America is virtually untouched by communism. And to the extent that they continue driving their message of TRUTH, chances are that coup attempts like Obama’s are not going to work - most of us know right from wrong. While Church attendance has been going down, there are still people who have the courage to go and stand for the Truth. You don’t get that in Latin America – whether they attend Church service or not, they’re getting the same consistent message of how wonderful big government is. It’s our job to continue telling the TRUTH. It’s the reason we created this website. If you’re reading this, please share it with your friends. Talk about the Gospel. Talk about the dangers of communism. Spread the Word of God. Go to Church. Make new friends there. It's the best you can do to understand what's right and what's wrong and educate others. Let's keep our Church safe from Communism. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
