I think by now both Democrats and Republicans alike are well aware of the fact that Biden’s mental capacities are no longer there – that is, if you’re inclined to believe they were there at any point in his life. “It’s just Joe”, a phrase we’d often hear from the Media and most Democrats when he was VP, implied that Joe just doesn’t think straight and as a result, says a lot of ridiculous things. But now, it’s clear that he’s gotten much worse. How do the Democrats plan to win the WH with such a flawed candidate as Biden? Since his mental capabilities are so obviously off, Democrats need a plan to win the WH and still be able to save face while attempting to ram Socialism down our throats. So in the midst of this dilemma that Democrats are clearly facing, the New York Post published an article recently in which they describe the “plan” that Democrats might be devising to win the WH and give the Obamas another 8 years. Let me briefly explain the “plan”, per the New York Post:
Presumably President Michelle would make Former President Barack her VP. Now, we know that Biden has already said he’d take Michelle “in a heartbeat” as his VP, so we know he’s already on board with the idea, assuming he understands it. But is this really the plan? And is it going to work? In order to answer the first question we need to get inside the Obamas’ heads – what do THEY want? And if this is the plan and has been all along, why didn’t Barack endorse Biden from the get-go? Or before Bernie dropped out? Being President is hard work. Even if you consider the bare minimum a President would have to do: you have to fly to all sorts of places and meet with global “leaders”, meet with your staff and speak with the media and politicians, have an agenda and a strategy to carry it out, give speeches and so on. This is the basic stuff a President would have to do. Now pretend you’re Michelle Obama – you’ve been the First Lady of the country, have amassed a fortune, live quite well in any of the mansions that you now own, are adored by the Media and not particularly hated by the general public because you never actually held office and your opinions, while they made headlines, have never really been viewed as driven any policy – even though they probably have. But your name is not really attached to anything policy-related, at least not formally. Now they’re asking you to give up your rather peaceful and luxurious life to become President and, well, go to work every day. Rather than doing whatever you want to do every day, now they want you to, essentially, be in the WH to do what others want you to do – including Barack, Nancy Pelosi, AOC and so on. Even when you may agree with all of the policies these people will want you to execute on, you’re still the one who at least must appear as executing them – you have to come across as “executive” and “presidential”. You must put up a show every single day of your life for at least 4 years, and maybe 8. Is this what you want? Or would you rather be influential and dictate policy from behind the scenes (as she’s most likely doing today), without the risk associated to being president and fail? Would you take that risk? Which brings me to the second question: is the “plan” going to work? It again comes down to risk. What do I mean? It means this: the assumption of the plan is that the Media adores Michelle, which is probably true, and that such adoration will translate into votes. Is this true? Does the assumption make sense? Is the Media’s adoration a guarantee that votes will follow? We know from history that Barack hasn’t been too successful getting the politicians he’s endorsed into office, including Hillary Rotham Clinton – which probably means he’s not as popular as the Media would have you believe. Remember what he said when Hillary was running for President? He said she’d be the continuation of his Administration, which America rejected when we elected Trump. It’s very likely that Michelle suffers from the same problem – she’s likely not as popular as the Media would have you believe. If she knows this, then running for VP is a risk for her brand. If Biden doesn’t win, she doesn’t win. Does she really want to risk her “branding capital” to save Biden or even the Democrat Party? Would she, then, give up the power that the Obamas have today? If she loses, her power is gone. If she loses, Barack’s power is gone. They would become utter failures and would stop being influential even within the Democrat party. They’ve "retired" as winners – winning the WH not once, but twice. Are they ready to try to come back from retirement and lose? Are they willing to become losers? And more importantly… …are they willing to risk it all, including the power that they currently have within the Democrat Party, just to do what OTHERS want them to do? Isaiah 13:11 “I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will put an end to the pomp of the arrogant, and lay low the pompous pride of the ruthless.”
