You may have heard about a newly developed MRI scan that allows parents to see detailed images of the beating heart of their unborn babies as young as 20 weeks. The images can also show clear pictures of the baby stretching its legs and swallowing in the womb. The scan was developed by a London based team of medical researchers. We know that a human being’s entire genetic code is determined AT CONCEPTION. We know the baby is an entire different person from the mother and not only does it have its mother’s genes, but also its father’s. In other words, we know unborn children are HUMAN BEINGS. We really don’t need the new scan to determine that. To the extent that every single ‘creature’ ever delivered by women have been HUMAN BEINGS, we know that, no matter the stage of the pregnancy, what’s inside any woman IS a human being. So, now that we’ve established the humanity of unborn children, let’s ask ourselves the question: do women have the right to kill their babies? Well, legally in America, and thanks to Roe v Wade, they do. But we know that laws aren’t always good – or right. For example, we know that in the past it was lawful to own slaves. Did slave owners have the right to own slaves? Well, yes…legally they did. How about the MORAL right to own slaves? The answer is no, of course. You see… …the ‘right’ to do something is not just defined by law. Legislators have been wrong in the past So who determines right from wrong? Is it all relative? Is it all dependent upon YOUR conscience? If so, wouldn’t you say that rapists think raping women is OK? Do rapists have the right to their own body? Does having the right to their own bodies give rapists the right to rape women? Does women’s rights to their own body give them the right to kill their babies? Nobody has the MORAL right to harm another person Legally, for example, a professional boxer’s fists are considered lethal weapons. There is no other circumstance in which fists are considered weapons at all – just in the case of professional boxers. Why do you think that is? It’s because a professional boxer will know exactly how to cause you harm or even kill you, therefore the law is trying to protect the rest of the population who are not pro boxers. The point being, simply because a pro boxer is more qualified to kill you with his fists, or a rapist is physically stronger than his victim, or the mother is carrying a child inside her body, doesn’t mean the boxer can hit you, or the rapist can rape his victim or the mother can kill her own child. Women have the LEGAL right to kill their babies, but they don’t have the MORAL right to do so And women know. They know so well, that studies show 34% of them develop depression, a condition that could last up to 8 years after the abortion procedure. Sure, rapists think it’s OK to rape, therefore they don’t have guilt when perpetrating their crime. I have to think that some women don’t suffer any guilt after they perpetrated their crime either. In a court of law, even in the cases where the prosecution has tons of evidence to convict murderers or thieves, these criminals still plead ‘not guilty’. But, you see, whatever they plead is irrelevant if the prosecutor has enough evidence to prove the defendant committed the crime – the criminal goes to jail regardless of how he pleaded. Women who don’t experience guilt after an abortion are no different from those rapists, murderers or criminals who plead ‘not guilty’. But, much like those criminals, they know what they did. Criminals may not have a conscience, but they certainly have memory They may plead 'not guilty' but they're lying... Unfortunately for those women, the judge in their case is none other than Jesus Christ himself... The first known murder is documented in Genesis 4, when Cain, out of jealousy, killed his brother Abel and made every effort to cover it up. You know the story – God said ‘What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is CRYING OUT TO ME FROM THE GROUND’ God was heartbroken. And if Abel’s blood cried out to Him from the ground, how much more all these 55 million babies who have been killed since Roe v Wade are crying to Him as well. God will ultimately judge all of us. You know what happened to Cain, don’t you? He was forever separated from God. Genesis 4: 11-12 When you work the ground, it shall no longer yield to you its strength. You shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth.
