Joe Biden might be getting the Hillary Clinton treatment come November 2020, if he is the Democrat Party nominee, as a slew of Bernie Sanders supporters have made the proclamation that they would be voting for President Donald Trump instead of Biden if the former VP ends up with the nomination.
Despite Bernie’s own clear intentions on supporting the Democrat nominee regardless of who it is (signifying just how weak the guy is), according to an ABC News/WaPo poll, 15% of Bernie supporters might vote for Trump come November if Bernie isn’t the nominee.
“If former Vice President Joe Biden secures the Democratic presidential nomination, 15% of Sen. Bernie Sanders’ supporters will vote for President Donald Trump’s reelection, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll,” reported USA Today.
“If accurate, that would represent a slightly larger defection than occurred after the bitter battle between Sanders and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2016, when 12% of Sanders voters broke for Trump in the general election.”
“The good news for Biden is that in spring 2016, an ABC News poll found 20% of Sanders supporters said they would vote for Trump over Clinton, and far fewer ended up doing so. And 80% of Sanders’ supporters said they would back Biden over Trump, according to the poll.”
“The 15% who said they plan to vote for Trump represents just 6% of Democrats and voters who lean Democratic, according to ABC News. Trump won 8% of Democrats in 2016.”
So while more Sanders supporters have said they would vote for Trump over Clinton than Trump over Joe, this is still not fantastic news for Biden.
If Joe and the Democrats hope to beat Trump, they will need far more than this to do so. That 80% seems like a decent number, but if 20% end up either voting for Trump or not voting at all (which is still a possibility that likely isn’t being considered by the MSM, at least regarding this poll), Joe has zero chance at beating Trump, at least depending on where those votes come from.
According to an analysis of the 2016 Cooperative Congressional Election Survey, “fewer than 80 percent of those who voted for Sanders, an independent, in the Democratic primary did the same for Clinton when she faced off against Trump a few months later. What’s more, 12 percent of those who backed Sanders actually cast a vote for Trump.”
Joe is at roughly the same statistical figure in terms of Bernie supporters backing him over Trump if he is the nominee. He would need the number of Bernie supporters backing him to be closer to 90% if he is to stand any chance at beating Trump. And again, it also matters where the votes are coming from. According to NBC News: “In 2016, about 216,000 Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin voters backed the Vermont senator in the spring and Trump in the fall…”. This gave Trump an electoral edge over Hillary, even while losing the popular vote.
But this isn’t the only piece of bad news for Joe. The same ABC News/WaPo poll also looks at the levels of enthusiasm amongst Trump and Biden supporters and let’s just say, people aren’t very excited for the oft-confused septuagenarian.
According to the poll, among Trump supporters, 53% are “Very enthusiastic”, 32% are “somewhat enthusiastic”, and 14% are “not so/not at all” enthusiastic. But among Biden supporters, only 24% are “very enthusiastic”, 49% are “somewhat enthusiastic” and 26% are “not so/not at all” enthusiastic.
That’s 85% of Trump supporters enthusiastic about voting for Trump versus 73% of Biden supporters enthusiastic to vote for Biden, a 12-point difference. However, the biggest and most eye-opening statistic is the figure regarding “very enthusiastic” voters.
Trump supporters are extremely enthused and hyped to vote for Trump come November, while far less than half that amount are equally enthused about voting for Joe. Levels of enthusiasm matter because they might show in terms of turnout come November.
I’ve already written an article talking about how Trump has had massive turnout in Super Tuesday and even in other primaries, despite him being the incumbent and being practically unopposed. Trump is very popular and he can get his supporters to go out to vote for him in droves. Joe can’t do that and it shows in that poll. If those numbers hold steady, Joe won’t have fantastic turnout and definitely won’t beat Trump in the electoral vote.
Joe Biden is essentially the male version of Hillary Clinton, only he isn’t totally annoying to listen to. People aren’t very enthusiastic about voting for him, he has Bernie supporters who are likely to defect and vote for Trump come November (even if less of them are proclaiming so now, Joe doesn’t have as much support from them as he needs) and has a very obvious crooked past. The only thing he has going for him that Hillary didn’t is that he isn’t in the subject of an investigation, even though he should be (remember what Trump’s impeachment was about?).
12% of Bernie voters defected and voted for Trump in 2016 and if anywhere near that amount does the same this time, Joe stands no chance. Keep in mind that Trump was unproven and not particularly well-trusted back in 2016 by plenty of people.
There is a reason the term “NeverTrump” arose. Back then, there was at least SOME excuse for not believing in Trump: he was unproven, at least in terms of politics. But the last three and a half/four years have given him ample opportunity to show that he means what he says and he has done so. The few people who are still NeverTrump can no longer consider themselves conservatives or Republicans. Plenty of people have seen what Trump has done and will likely vote to reelect him.
Remember, conservatives like Ben Shapiro and Dana Loesch were NeverTrump at one time too, and now, plenty of people who opposed or voted against Trump have seen that Trump is not a bad president at all (even if they have some issues with him, particularly in terms of some of his mannerisms) and will vote for him come November. What’s more, there’s an entire movement called the “#WalkAway” movement that is about Democrat voters walking away from the Democrat Party that has abandoned them and their values and will vote for and support Trump.
And I know what some people might try and say. “What about the economy, Trump’s biggest weapon, essentially being crushed because of the virus?” to which I say that I have no doubt in my mind that the economy will be roaring once again by the time of the election. Remember, the reasons for the current economic problems we are seeing are the virus and states’ response to it. Once the virus is no longer a massive threat, states will allow people to go back to work (and even if some Democrat states refuse to budge to try and hurt Trump economically, they would essentially be shooting themselves on the foot and the blame can rightfully be placed on them, not on Trump).
Do I expect the economic numbers to go back to what they were pre-China virus? No, but I do expect them to still be great because the economic policies put in place that allowed for the original economic boom beginning from the Trump administration are still in place. Deregulation and tax cuts have allowed for the economy to thrive and there’s no reason for it to not be doing so once again once this virus is a thing of the past.
So I trust the economy will be roaring once again by the time of the election and Biden will more than likely stand absolutely zero chance at beating Trump (and let me once again take the time to remind people that just because I say and believe this, that doesn’t give people license to not vote for Trump and just assume he will win even without their vote. Complacency on our part is the only thing that can bring Trump down, remember that).

Still trying to find some topics that have little or nothing to do with the Chinese coronavirus, but it is getting harder and harder to do so as time goes by. However, I feel it is at least somewhat necessary to talk about the topic of Trump’s approval ratings here, largely because his rise in mainstream media polls is due to what he has done with responding to the virus.
A number of MSM polls had the President rising in approval, and Pew Research Center has him at a three-year high. For those counting at home, that means the highest approval of his presidency.
According to Pew: “Opinions about how President Donald Trump is handling the crisis are less positive, and more divided by partisanship. Nearly half of adults (48%) say Trump is doing an excellent or good job responding to the outbreak; an overwhelming majority of Republicans (83%) express positive views, compared with just 18% of Democrats.”
“However, Trump’s overall job rating is higher than it has been since the first few months of his presidency. Currently, 45% approve of the way he is handling his job as president, while 52% disapprove. In January, 40% approved of Trump’s job performance.”
“Since then, Trump’s job approval has increased significantly among a number of groups, including members of both parties, women (from 37% in January to 44% today), black adults (from 8% to 18%) and Hispanic adults (from 27% to 37%).”
The biggest reason for these upticks in his approval seems to stem from what the Democrats and many in the media claimed was a “xenophobic overreaction”: restricting travel to and from the U.S., specifically restricting travel from China and, once Italy and much of Europe showed to be in the uptrend in terms of infections, expanding the restrictions to Europe.
If you remember, former Vice President Joe Biden said of the travel restrictions on China, that it’s “hysteria and xenophobia – hysterical xenophobia”. Chuck Schumer had also said in a now-deleted tweet (because of course he would delete it) that the restrictions were just Trump being a “xenophobe” and overreacting.
Meanwhile, let’s take a look at the Pew Research poll, shall we? According to Pew, 96% of Republicans approve of restricting international travel to the U.S. 94% of DEMOCRATS also approve, so a total of 95% of people in the survey say that travel restrictions are good.
95% of Democrats said canceling major sports and entertainment events was a good idea, with 87% of Republicans agreeing. 94% of Democrats approved of closing K-12 schools with 85% of Republicans agreeing which is actually pretty surprising to me.
We all know that government (public) schools are centers of indoctrination, not education, so to see FAR more Democrats agreeing to canceling school than Republicans is rather astounding to me.
But moving on, 92% of Democrats agreed with asking people to avoid gathering in groups of more than 10, with 82% of Republicans agreeing. 91% of Democrats agreed with limiting restaurants to carry-out only, with 78% of Republicans agreeing. 81% of Democrats agreed with requiring most businesses other than grocery stores and pharmacies to close, with 61% of Republicans agreeing, which is not particularly surprising to me. The well-being of businesses and the economy tends to be more of a Republican issue and many of us would argue that it is not outright necessary to close pretty much everything for everyone (as I’ve already explained in previous articles).
Finally, when it comes to postponing state primary elections, 73% of Democrats agreed with doing so, while only 66% of Republicans agreed.
Of course, the most important and noteworthy portion of that poll was that incredible consensus regarding imposing travel restrictions. Again, Democrats and people in the media lambasted Trump for imposing those restrictions, first to China and then to Europe when the necessity arose, and just about everyone in that survey, be they Republican or Democrat, agreed with Trump’s plan to restrict travel.
It wasn’t a “xenophobic overreaction” to restrict travel during a global virus pandemic (or what could turn into one, as that was the sentiment at the time). The reason for restricting travel to and from China was due to their woeful attempt at limiting the spread, lying to everyone about it and keeping outside help from coming in. China set the world on fire with the virus and Trump knew he needed to do something.
Keep in mind that the travel restrictions were imposed in January. While the Democrats were running a sham impeachment and removal trial that was entirely partisan and based on nothing, President Trump established the Coronavirus Task Force and kept an eye out on both Iran (back when Soleimani was the big story) and Wuhan. While the Democrats were twiddling their thumbs, Trump took early, precautionary action. Action that no one can honestly say was “downplaying” the virus (again, the Democrats and the media were the ones downplaying it by that point).
As I’ve said time and time again, Trump was the first one in Washington taking the virus seriously. And this early action, coupled with the actions he is currently taking, are painting him in a better light in the minds of the people the MSM chooses to survey.
It’s important to keep all of this in mind, especially considering what Joe Biden said at the time of Trump applying the travel restrictions. When the Democrats were busy trying to impeach and remove the duly-elected president, and while they were crying “racist” at the travel restrictions, Trump was busy making sure that the country did not suffer greatly from the virus. And while we are currently in the situation we are in anyway, there’s no doubt in my mind that if Hillary had been president right now (as many on the Left had been fantasizing particularly for the past couple of months), she would not have put in place the travel restrictions and wouldn’t have taken the same early steps in fighting the virus (also, the economy would be in total shambles).
This will be important come November and it will be something the Left cannot take away from Trump, as there is clear evidence of them siding against Trump’s travel restrictions.

For the past few articles, I have largely tried to steer clear of any conversation or topic that had to do with the Chinese coronavirus, or Wuhan virus as I usually call it, because the media is flooded by such stories and I wanted to give people some respite from the constant bombardment of doom and gloom that we saw in the media (not to say the situation isn’t serious, but shutting down the economy for months is not a viable solution).
However, this article will largely cover how the fake news media has handled a particular portion of this crisis. Namely, a story surrounding an Arizona couple who ingested fish tank cleaner because one of its ingredients was chloroquine, a substance similar to the drug the President and NY Governor Andrew Cuomo have touted as a potential option in treating and curing the Wuhan virus, and the fake news media is choosing to blame Trump for the couple’s sheer lack of common sense.
From Axios: “A man has died after ingesting chloroquine phosphate – one of the anti-malaria drugs that Trump has mentioned in recent days.” That is very obviously fake news, as the couple did not ingest chloroquine phosphate, the prescription drug, but fish tank cleaner, which is not a drug but contains chloroquine – not chloroquine phosphate.
Heidi Przybyla from NBC News ran with the story anyway, fully blaming Trump and supposedly quoting the woman: “Her husband is dead & she’s in the ICU after ingesting chloroquine: ‘We saw Trump on TV – every channel - & all of his buddies and that this was safe,’ she said. ‘Trump kept saying it was basically pretty much a cure.’”
There are a number of problems with this. First of all, THE COUPLE DIDN’T EVEN HAVE THE WUHAN VIRUS! Heidi pretty much admitted that in a follow-up tweet (which unsurprisingly garnered far less likes and retweets), saying that the couple “feared contracting coronavirus.”
Later on, Heidi “quotes” the woman: “Oh my God. Don’t take anything. Don’t believe anything. Don’t believe anything that the President says and his people because they don’t know what they’re talking about. And don’t take anything – be so careful and call your doctor. This is a heart ache I’ll never get over.”
Not sure where she got the quote from, but it’s awfully opportunistic for a fake news media who hates the President and would be satisfied with people dying if they are scared of taking the drug Trump (and Cuomo, but they forget about him) touted as a possible cure to the virus. Again, the couple didn’t have the Wuhan virus and THEY TOOK FISH TANK CLEANER!
And yet, these idiots went along with the story because it made Trump look bad. It took eight tweets for Heidi to bury the lead, writing: “The toxic ingredient they consumed was not the medication form of chloroquine, used to treat malaria in humans. Instead, it was an ingredient listed on a parasite treatment for fish.”
Not that that stopped Leftist hacks from piling on and blaming Trump as well, as though it’s his fault that a couple of ignoramuses who did not have the virus ingested fish tank cleaner without consulting with a doctor.
Seriously, that they would choose to run with this just goes to show the level of Trump Derangement Syndrome these fools have.
Here are the facts:
2. They did not ingest the prescription medication, hydroxychloroquine, usually taken in combination with azithromycin, the other drug Trump touted. They ingested chloroquine and whatever else is in the substance used to clean fish tanks. That is FAR different from the prescription drug.
3. The couple “self-medicated” meaning they did not go to a doctor… because they would’ve been called idiots for thinking they should ingest fish tank cleaner.
4. NY Governor Andrew Cuomo also touted hydroxychloroquine apart from the POTUS. And yet, Trump is the only one blamed here. Not to say that Cuomo should be blamed as he neither suggested people self-medicate (neither did Trump), nor told people to just ingest anything that has chloroquine in it. But Cuomo and Trump both touted the exact same drug, and yet, the story only focuses on Trump. Even the quote, which I doubt is real as it sounds too good for the Left to be real, only talks about how Trump and his people touted chloroquine (which they didn’t), conveniently leaving out Cuomo who did the same thing as Trump.
Eventually, Axios was forced to correct their story (obviously without an apology for outright blaming Trump for the death of an American), writing: “We have deleted this tweet and corrected our story because it did not reflect the full nature of the self-medication done with an additive commonly used to clean fish tanks.”
We know for certain that, if people, namely Trump supporters, hadn’t raised the glaring problems in the story, no correction would’ve been issued and the fake news media would’ve sat comfortably blaming Trump for the death of the guy and the hospitalization of his wife.
It’s obscene what the fake news media would be willing to do to attempt to damage Trump. This, among MANY other reasons, is why they are the enemy of the people.
Hydroxychloroquine has the potential to help Americans with the virus. But the media has been trying to nuke that since Trump brought it up. Not too long ago, the fake news media said that ingesting 3 grams of it would be fatal. OF COURSE IT WOULD BE FATAL, THAT’S FAR MORE THAN THE RECOMMENDED AMOUNT!
Drinking too much water can be fatal too. Eating too much food can be fatal. You have to ingest the RECOMMENDED AMOUNT of a drug, not THREE FULL GRAMS OF IT!
And now, we have a story that is very sketchily put together about a man who died because of his own foolishness and a woman who might be trying to blame Trump for her own foolishness as well.
We don’t even know if the actual drug will be successful but the media wants doom and gloom. Last week, a reporter from NBC News (funny how that works out) said that Trump was giving Americans “false hope” by touting the drug, when he said it was POTENTIALLY a solution, not a promised one, and it’s not “false hope”, but real hope that may or may not work out depending on how things go.
The fake news media wants FAR more people to die so that they can blame Trump. If the drug is useful in fighting the virus, that is only TERRIBLE news for a bloodthirsty mainstream media who see the virus and its crisis as an opportunity to destroy the man whom they have failed time and time again to destroy. And if it is useful, they want to say that it could kill people so that low-information Americans will be too scared to take it and subsequently potentially die as a result, which, of course, is what these devils want.
As these bastards get more and more desperate, they show more of their true colors. They WANT people to die if that’s what it takes to defeat Trump. They WANT people to be uninformed, so they are discussing no longer covering the press conferences that help inform people because they also help Trump’s ratings. A majority of people approve of his handling of the virus. The media can’t have that, so they are discussing not covering the press conferences.
Defeating Donald Trump is their one and only goal. If it takes people being uninformed, or misinformed, and DIE, then so be it. If it takes people going BANKRUPT due to Democrats backing out of an already bipartisan deal so they can jam in GND garbage (what happened to “country over party”? Or does that only apply to Republicans seeking to betray the nation?), then so be it.
These people have absolutely no shame, no integrity and no heart. They will exploit the death and suffering of a couple who took missteps in fear of the virus (which has been propped up plenty by the fake news media) if it helps them hurt Trump.
This is some of the most scum-of-the-earth “reporting” I’ve seen since the Kavanaugh hearings.
These devils truly are the enemy of the people.

“And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.”

For the past couple of months, President Trump has been trying to keep the Coronavirus from being anywhere near as devastating here as it has been in Italy, South Korea, Iran and China, where the virus has been at its worst, while also attempting to calm down a panicked stock market that has seen days of thousand-point crashes and thousand-point surges (most recently, it’s just been crashing). Regardless of what the President does, however, it is utterly wrong in the eyes of a bloodthirsty media who had been desperate for something, anything, that would destroy Trump, even if at the cost of Americans’ livelihoods and lives.
And this last Wednesday, the President issued an address from the Oval Office in which he detailed what steps his administration had already taken, what steps it would heretofore be taking both health-wise and financially, and reassuring the American people that this is merely a temporary setback in what has been, for the past three years, a booming economy (and the economy is still doing well outside the stock market, as weekly jobless claims fell to 211,000 v 218,000 expected, so more good economic news that would otherwise lead to market rallies).
But what has the enemy of the people, the fake news media, talked about as a response? The fact that President Trump noted that the virus came from China, which Jim Acosta and Joe Biden believe is racist and xenophobic to point out (even though it’s an irrefutable fact and China is to blame for the virus spreading as bad as it has within the mainland and in the rest of the world due to trying to shut people who would talk about it down and keeping the WHO and CDC from helping them back in December), and, funny enough, that he wasn’t specific enough about what the American people should do (even though he was).
Here are the most important parts of the President’s address:
“Our team is the best anywhere in the world. At the very start of the outbreak, we instituted sweeping travel restrictions on China and put in place the first federally mandated quarantine in over 50 years. We declared a public health emergency and issued the highest level of travel warning on other countries as the virus spread its horrible infection.”
For those who said that Trump wasn’t doing enough (which the media had been saying pretty much all of February and early March before the address), that is patently untrue. Chuck Schumer had offered his opinion on that travel restriction on China and believed it was fueled by Trump’s “racism” and “xenophobia”. They thought he was overreacting in January but switched it up to “he’s not doing enough” when they accused him of saying that the virus was “a hoax” when in reality, he was referring to the Democrats’ and mainstream media’s politicization of the virus as being his fault (remember when an NYT op-ed suggested people call it the “Trumpvirus”? Because I do).
The President was the first one to take this seriously, appointing VP Pence as head of the Coronavirus Task Force, which members of the media and Democrats mocked because he supposedly “doesn’t believe in science”, coming from the people who believe in anthropogenic climate change and that there are a bazillion genders.
Anyone claiming he had not been doing enough or that he was underreacting to the coronavirus is simply either wrong or lying.
Continuing: “To keep new cases from entering our shores, we will be suspending all travel from Europe to the United States for the next 30 days. The new rules will go into effect Friday at midnight. These restrictions will be adjusted subject to conditions on the ground.”
“There will be exemptions for Americans who have undergone appropriate screenings, and these prohibitions will not only apply to the tremendous amount of trade and cargo, but various other things as we get approval. Anything coming from Europe to the United States is what we are discussing. These restrictions will also not apply to the United Kingdom.” (Worth mentioning that the President misspoke here and the prohibitions won’t affect trade and cargo, only travelers).
“Earlier this week, I met with the leaders of health insurance industry who have agreed to waive all copayments for coronavirus treatments, extend insurance coverage to these treatments, and to prevent surprise medical billing.”
“Additionally, last week, I signed into law an $8.3 billion funding bill to help CDC and other government agencies fight the virus and support vaccines, treatments, and distribution of medical supplies. Testing and testing capabilities are expanding rapidly, day by day.”
“My administration is coordinating directly with communities with the largest outbreaks, and we have issued guidance on school closures, social distancing, and reducing large gatherings.”
“For all Americans, it is essential that everyone take extra precautions and practice good hygiene. Each of us has a role to play in defeating this virus. Wash your hands, clean often-used surfaces, cover your face and mouth if you sneeze or cough, and most of all, if you are sick or not feeling well, stay home.”
Someone should tape that last part of his address to Brian Stelter’s office door (if he has one) because following the address, he tweeted: “Trump’s Oval Office address was exactly what his Fox wingmen needed – now Sean Hannity et al can celebrate the new travel ban – while evading the real scourge of community spread within the US.”
He also replied to someone, saying: “Get specific, dude. Have you heard Trump or Hannity fully address what the US should do to stop community spread?”
I get the feeling Brian wasn’t actually paying attention to what the President was saying, otherwise he wouldn’t be qualified to work at CNN. The President was very specific, right at that point where I stopped quoting him, about what people should do to prevent themselves from getting the virus: practice good hygiene, wash your hands, maintain cleanliness in your home, cover your face and mouth when sneezing or coughing so as to not harm someone else, and stay home if you are feeling unwell.
What part of that was not specific, Brian?
In any case, the President continued by saying: “To ensure that working Americans impacted by the virus can stay home without fear of financial hardship, I will soon be taking emergency action, which is unprecedented, to provide financial relief. This will be targeted for workers who are ill, quarantined, or caring for others due to coronavirus.”
“[T]o provide extra support for American workers, families and businesses, tonight I am announcing the following additional actions: I am instructing the Small Business Administration to exercise available authority to provide capital and liquidity to firms affected by the coronavirus.”
“Finally, I am calling on Congress to provide Americans with immediate payroll tax relief.”
Could you believe that the Left and fake news media is taking issue with people keeping more of their money and limiting travel to areas that have been horribly affected by the virus?
They really do want us all sick, dying and poor if it helps them defeat Donald Trump. These people are sick and I don’t mean with the coronavirus.
When sparing the CCP’s feelings by avoiding recognizing the virus came from China is more important than taking this seriously; when attacking the President for “not doing enough” and then attacking him for “doing too much” is more important than people’s health and safety; when any narrative that helps them, even at the expense of the American people, is more important than the health of said people, you know you are dealing with some scum-of-the-earth type of people.
At no point was Trump downplaying this and it’s better for him to overreact with travel restrictions (I still don’t know how that is an overreaction) and financial aid to people who could be affected than to actually downplay it and underreact (as the media and the Left believed he should’ve done back in January, when he was leading everyone else on this).
The destruction of their political opponent is more important than your health and safety. And they want to claim he is the tyrant and that he is Putin-like?
“Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.”

I am not even a little bit surprised that the Left is seeing this virus, which puts people’s health at risk and causes literal DEATHS to some, to be an opportunity to attack Trump relentlessly regardless of what he does, what measures he takes, what he says and what his response is at any point. These people are fundamentally rotten and view anything that is bad for people as a positive if the current administration is one they do not like. Any catastrophe is celebrated by these people and they want the Coronavirus to be as devastating as the Plague, provided they do not contract it or suffer from it in the slightest.
So, when the President, who has been taking the virus seriously and taken measures to mitigate its spread in the country since January in moves that have been attacked by the Left as “too radical” and “based on his racism” or dumb crap like that, tweets numbers that are used to put into perspective how needless the panic driven by the media has been, it’s equally as unsurprising that the Left would have a problem with it. Let me briefly explain just what it was that the President tweeted that has these people reacting so negatively.
Recently, Trump tweeted: “So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu. It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus, with 22 deaths. Think about that!”
Obviously, this has led some on the Left to say that he is downplaying the virus (again, he acted with seriousness far earlier than these people did) and claiming that he is saying that it’s “just the flu” even though at no point did he ever say that.
Here are the facts regarding Coronavirus. First, there is no vaccine or medicine that outright prevents or cures it. Efforts should be made towards achieving that, but Coronavirus is nothing like the Plague or anything that would be a threat to our civilization as the Left has suggested. While there is no vaccine that prevents it or medicine that cures it, people are recovering from it just fine, as we will soon see.
The incubation period, or the time someone usually has the disease, is 2-14 days with an average of 5.2 days, according to Worldometers’ page on the Coronavirus. The maximum recorded incubation period is 27 days.
Second, there are 554 confirmed cases in the U.S. (a few more than the President said, but again, according to Worldometers), with 22 dead (with 15 of those people having died in a single retirement home in the failing communist State of Washington) and 15 people who have recovered. 472 tests have been carried out, though the last tallied test was in March 1st. The cases per 1 million residents is pretty low in comparison to other nations. Cases per 1M residents in the U.S. is 1.7.
In Italy, 23,345 tests have been made, 7,375 confirmed cases have been found, 366 people have died, 622 have recovered and cases per 1M residents stands at 122. In Iran, there is no data to be found about the number of tests (because it’s Iran), 6,566 confirmed cases, 194 dead, 2,134 people recovered and cases per 1m is 78.2. In South Korea, 109,591 tests have been carried out, 7,382 confirmed cases, 53 dead, 116 recovered and cases per 1m is 144.
These are among the highest in the world, so they are a bit of an outlier, but the U.S. is also really low, so it is also a bit of an outlier. The U.K. has seen 278 confirmed cases, with 3 dead and 18 recovered, with cases per 1m being 4.1.
In China, the origin of the Wuhan Virus (which some people on the Left claim calling it that is “racist” showing just how unserious they are about this virus), we find that there are 80,738 confirmed cases, 3,120 people have died, 58,624 have recovered and cases per 1m stands at 56.1. Now, we should take these figures with a grain of salt because the Chicoms likely want to make the numbers seem better than they might actually be so that their markets don’t take so much of a hit, but I doubt these numbers are all that far away from the truth.
Third, the mortality rate is rather low, at least for healthy people under 70. Male mortality rate for COVID-19 stands at 2.8%, while female mortality rate stands at 1.7%. By age, those 80 and older have a mortality rate of 14.8%. 70-79, 8.0%. 60-69, 3.6%. 50-59, 1.3% and those younger than 50 have less than half a percentage point of mortality rate. This means that the vast majority of people who contract the virus will be fine, provided they are relatively young and healthy. (Also, rate of infection seems to be plateauing in China and in many places in the world).
There have been a total of 3,892 deaths around the world according to Johns Hopkins University. This year, 91,125 people have died from the seasonal flu. Some might try and argue that comparing the two is illogical since one of them has a vaccine, can be treated by antibiotics and statistics are fairly predictable while the other does not have a vaccine, has no known cure and statistics are not predictable, but I disagree that they are incomparable. These are two illnesses that have fairly similar symptoms and can cause health problems and death, but one of them has far fewer deaths, far lower a mortality rate (the flu's is counted as the whole population as opposed to the number of people who get it) and is somehow a bigger story than the other, despite it being far less fatal.
I’ve said in the past that I don’t know what will happen with Coronavirus in the future. However, the low mortality rate and the fact that plenty of people are recovering from it tells me this virus is not as bad as the Left and those in the media would want us to think. It’s far from a death sentence, as far more people have recovered (62,392) than have died (3,892) from it. Even if we do not take China’s numbers to be accurate, we can still see decent recovery rates from countries like Italy, South Korea and the U.K., who are not as likely to manipulate their numbers to benefit their economies, so recovery rate should still be good.
The point the President was trying to get across is that panic is what is driving the stock market down far more than the virus itself and he is trying to calm people down with some figures because it’s clear that the Coronavirus is not as big a deal as the media and the Left pretend it is. Make no mistake, neither he nor I are saying it’s a nothingburger or that it’s completely irrelevant. People are suffering from it, people are dying from it and it’s affecting plenty of people. However, there are diseases that have affected far more people with far less of an impact on the stock market. Trump sees what this coronavirus scare is for what it is: a scare. A scare that the media is all-too happy to put into people’s lives if it means getting rid of Trump come November (and I predict this entire thing to be over before the summer). And it’s that scare that Trump was referring to when he used the word “hoax.” He didn’t call the virus itself a hoax, but the scare and panic the Left was driving. THAT is the hoax.
Trump isn’t downplaying the Coronavirus. Again, he’s taken action to mitigate this in the U.S. since before there was even a confirmed case in the country and the Left was saying he was propagating “racism” with imposing travel bans to and from China and other countries that have the virus. So don’t tell me Trump isn’t taking this seriously or hasn’t been taking this seriously. For crying out loud, Ted Lieu told people not to call it the “Wuhan Virus” because people might take offense to it, despite the fact that naming a virus after the place it came from is common practice (need I point out that Ebola, the Spanish Flu, MERS and a slew of other diseases are named after their place of origin?). If we are prioritizing political correctness, then we aren’t taking it seriously and that is what the Left is clearly doing here (apart from clearly trying to politicize the virus).
What Trump is doing is telling those who are panicking to put things into perspective so they stop panicking so much. Take caution, practice good hygiene and avoid going places where you have a high risk of contracting the virus, but don’t pretend this is the Bubonic Plague and panic about what this will mean for the economy. The economy apart from the stock market is flourishing. 273,000 jobs were created in February and almost the same amount in January, despite what the Coronavirus is doing. Unemployment is still at 50-year lows. Oil prices are going down, which will hurt oil companies and states that benefit from oil like Texas and Louisiana, but the consumer and other companies will benefit from lower prices (if oil costs less, manufacturing and transportation will increase, which will increase supply, drive down prices of goods, drive up demand, and drive up profits).
Trump is simply fighting back, as he always does, against the narrative the media wants to drive.

A series of events have occurred during and immediately following the results of this week’s Super Tuesday primary delegate race. For one, Mini Mike dropped out of the race after spending roughly $12 million per delegate (he got 53) and decided to join Amy Klobuchar, Mayor Pete and Beto O’Rourke in endorsing Joe Biden, the Obi-Wan Kenobi of the Democrats, as he is their only hope of beating Darth Bern.
With that, one of the biggest stories coming out of Super Tuesday is that Joe Biden is seemingly back in the race, even when he can’t figure out where he is half the time, can’t remember who our Creator is, and pulls the male version of Ilhan Omar, confusing his wife for his sister and vice versa. Despite the multiple months, caucuses and debates where it seemed Joe was completely dead in the water, he has regained his standing as the frontrunner, currently holding a lead over Bernie in delegate count.
While that is a worthwhile story for “The Comeback Grandpa”, there is another story that few are covering: President Trump’s impressive turnout despite his status as an incumbent president.
President Trump has primary challengers, though none of them are really worth discussing, but the incumbent usually is expected to outright win the primaries for their party. No incumbent has ever lost their party’s nomination (though there were some fairly close calls like Taft vs. Roosevelt and H.W. Bush vs. Buchanan) so it was fully expected for President Trump to win the primaries for the GOP. However, as an incumbent president, the turnout is particularly impressive, as incumbents usually don’t have as many people turning out to vote in the primaries.
GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel tweeted the following, as the Super Tuesday results came in for the GOP: “We are seeing proof of the huge enthusiasm for Donald Trump in several states: In NC, POTUS has already blown past the # of votes he got in 2016. In OK, POTUS is on pace to receive 4 TIMES the # of votes of the last two incumbent presidents.”
“In AR, POTUS is on pace to receive DOUBLE the # of votes of the last two incumbent presidents. In MN, with just two-thirds of the vote in, POTUS has already received nearly 4 TIMES the # of votes as he did in the 2016 caucus. #WINNING.”
“MORE: Essex County, VT went for Obama in ’08 and ’12, but swung for Donald Trump in ’16 (aka “a Pivot County”). POTUS just received more votes there than all the Democrat primary candidates got in 2008. Update on NC: POTUS has received 150% MORE votes than he did in ’16!”
Chief of Staff for the GOP Richard Walters tweeted: “With 100% reporting in OK, Donald Trump has received over 270,000 votes. The President has not only surpassed his own vote total of 130,267 votes in 2016, he has over quadrupled the vote totals received by President Obama in 2012 (59,577) and President Bush in 2004 (64,389).”
What’s more, in North Carolina, with 95% reporting in, President Trump won the state with 93.5% of the vote, which far blows out of the water previous presidents. In 2012, Obama received 79% of the vote in that state. In 1996, Clinton received 81%. In 1988, Bush received just 45% and in 1980, Reagan received 68%.
Comparing Trump to Obama in 2012, we find the following figures:
Let’s begin with New Hampshire, since Iowa’s Democrat vote count is very weird, as they do not show the actual number of votes for each candidate but the number of “State Delegate Equivalent” votes, which shows up as a very small number. For example, Mayor Pete won the primary with 563 votes, with Bernie garnering 562 votes, but the GOP’s primary didn’t have this confusing vote count and shows Trump got over 30,000 votes, so I won’t compare the two parties’ vote count for Iowa. In NH, Bernie won the state with 76,324 votes, Mayor Pete received 72,457, Amy Klobuchar got 58,796, and Elizabeth Warren got 27,387.
President Trump got 129,696, as previously stated. That is far more than what Obama got in 2012 (like I said earlier) and by far defeats Bernie Sanders and the rest of the Democrats. Even if you put the top two winners together, they get less than 20,000 more votes than Donald Trump.
Let’s now look at California. The communist-run state was won by Bernie Sanders on Super Tuesday, with him garnering 992,304 votes. Joe Biden came in second with 733,086. Bloomberg got 424,670 votes and Fauxcahontas got 357,306.
Pretty good, right? Well, President Trump got 1,441,031. Obviously, he got far less votes than all the Democrats put together, but there is a good reason I’m talking about this. Far-Left socialists are currently ticked off at Elizabeth Warren for staying in this race, taking votes away from Bernie, and allowing the “moderate” Democrat Establishment to rally around Joe. However, even if Warren wasn’t in this race, and assuming 100% of the votes that went to her would go to Bernie instead, that’s still not enough to defeat Donald Trump.
Putting the “two” socialists in this race together in California (Bernie and Warren), they amassed 1,349,610 votes. That’s still almost 100,000 votes shy of Donald Trump. Now, I’m not saying that California is all that likely to go to President Trump in 2020, but it is fairly interesting that the “two” socialists here still got less votes together than Trump in total.
What’s more, Matt Vespa from TownHall.com asks the fairly rhetorical question: “Did Democrats Just Create a Path for Trump to Take California?” That is the title of his article and the reason he speculates this is because of a bill that recently went into effect that will likely kill millions of jobs in the state, as it disallows businesses contracting people without counting them as full-on employees (something that would absolutely kill ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft, which rely on contracting drivers as opposed to hiring them to a position). Vespa also quotes a writer at Red State who said the following:
“I’m about to make a purely anecdotal statement, so take it for what it’s worth but… I’ve never seen so many Californians willing and eager to cross the aisle to vote Republican as I have in the last two months… Do they want to vote for the California GOP? No. Do they want to vote for Trump? No. That being said, more than anything they want to be heard and since the California Democrats are willfully ignoring their voices, many feel a GOP vote will be the only way to make an impact. They’ll go back to voting for the party they love and are loyal to, but they’re for sure not going back to it if they don’t have jobs or are forced to move out of state because of AB5 (the aforementioned job-killing bill).”
“The stakes are real and critical and I’ve never seen so many people throwing aside political divisions for a unified cause. We vote with our wallets and Newsom and Gonzalez (the author of AB5) have taken the last dollars out of our wallets and then thumbed their noses at us for complaining about it.”
The Red State writer, Kira Davis, also says that Trump can benefit a lot by simply pointing out the atrocious bill and the impact it’s having on Californians and the state’s economy.
The fact that Trump got more votes than the “two” socialist candidates still in the race (by Super Tuesday, that is) is also significant. Again, I don’t think California will go to Trump and it’s largely a pipe dream that it will, but it’s worth pointing this out: even in California, plenty of people like Trump.
In any case, let’s now look at Alabama, where Trump won BIG. On the Democrat side, Biden won 286,630 votes, Sanders got 75,326, Bloomberg got 52,844 and Warren got 26,125. As previously stated, President Trump won 708,883 votes, far exceeding the vote count of all other Democrats (though it’s Alabama, so that’s to be expected).
In Arkansas, Biden got 92,584 votes, Sanders got 51,117, Bloomberg got 38,212 and Warren got 22,860. President Trump got 237,826 by comparison.
In Texas, Biden got 661,231 votes, Bernie got 591,952, Bloomberg got 289,340 and Warren got 227,422. President Trump got 1,883,799. As with Alabama, it’s rather expected for Trump to win big in Texas, but again, this is a massive number, particularly when comparing it to Obama.
What we find in all but two states (Massachusetts and Vermont) is that Trump, despite him being an incumbent and running basically unopposed (as the other GOP primary opponents are basically nobodies), is drawing in massive turnout for himself in what are essentially guaranteed races. There is just about zero chance for any GOP primary challenger to defeat Trump in any of these states, and yet, the President receives far bigger turnouts in many of these places than the current Democrat candidates and his predecessors.
This is the big story coming out of Super Tuesday that practically no one will cover: Trump’s base keeps growing and growing. His re-election, while not an absolute guarantee, is looking more and more likely as time goes on and as people keep dropping out.
The only people left in the Democrat race are two white men who are, at minimum, 77 years of age, with one of them believing the Soviet Union was good and that breadlines were a good thing for people, and the other believing his wife is his sister and that Super Tuesday was Super Thursday (among a slew of other gaffes that are equal parts funny and sad). Elizabeth Warren is basically a non-factor (UPDATE: She's out) and Bloomberg has already dropped out after wasting half a billion dollars annoying us in ads and winning less than 60 total delegates.
The fact that Biden might be the nominee will also annoy the heck out of Bernie supporters who might actually burn Milwaukee to the ground and essentially gift Trump with his second term come November, be it by directly voting for him (or simply against the Democrat establishment) or just not voting at all, leaving Joe with less voters.
The Democrats don’t stand a chance in 2020, do they? (Note that this is not an invitation to not go out to vote on November 3rd, 2020. Complacency on the part of an overly cocky Trump base would sink him, so make sure to go out to vote so that the Left truly doesn’t have any chance to win at all).

For about four years now, we have heard virtually every major and minor fake news publication make the claim that Donald Trump was “like Hitler” or “worse than Hitler”, which serves nothing more than to criminally minimize the dreadful impact Hitler had on tens of millions of people. In that time, we have also heard some others on the Left claim that Trump was like Stalin or Mao Zedong. Well, one writer for The Atlantic tried to compare Trump to Hugo Chavez and Nicolas Maduro.
Allow me to explain just why it is absolutely ABSURD to claim that Trump is in any way, shape, manner or form akin to any of these communist dictators of the past and the present.
Let’s first begin with The Atlantic’s article. Anne Applebaum writes this article and I have to say, apart from the obvious attempt at painting Trump like a communist dictator, it is actually a pretty good article, as it describes the process Chavez underwent to become Venezuela’s dictator, the power that he consolidated for himself, and even attacks Venezuela as being the “endgame” for ideological Marxism.
I know, I found that strange as well. Apparently, this woman is not a fan of ideological Marxism and recognizes that Venezuela is its natural result, and yet, hates Trump and believes Trump to be like Chavez. Ridiculous, if you ask me. But let me share some excerpts from the article.
After attacking Trump for inviting the legitimate president of Venezuela, Juan Guaido, to his State of the Union address and claiming he was essentially just being used a prop by the POTUS (even going so far as to claim Trump has never advocated for the liberty of other people before that point), she writes:
“Regardless of what actually happens there, Venezuela – especially when it was run by Maduro’s predecessor, the late Hugo Chavez – has long been a symbolic cause for the Marxist left as well. More than a decade ago, Hans Modrow, one of the last East German Communist Party leaders and now an elder statesman of the far-left Die Linke party, told me that Chavez’s ‘Bolivarian socialism’ represented his greatest hope: that Marxist ideas – which had driven East Germany into bankruptcy – might succeed, finally, in Latin America.”
“Jeremy Corbyn, the far-left leader of the British Labour Party, was photographed with Chavez and has described his regime in Venezuela as ‘an inspiration to all of us fighting back against austerity and neoliberal economics.’ Chavez’s rhetoric also helped inspire the Spanish Marxist Pablo Iglesias to create Podemos, Spain’s far-left party. Iglesias has long been suspected of taking Venezuelan money, though he denies it. Even now, the idea of Venezuela inspires defensiveness and anger wherever dedicated Marxists still gather, whether they are Code Pink activists vowing to ‘protect’ the Venezuelan embassy in Washington from the Venezuelan opposition or French Marxists who refuse to call Maduro a dictator.”
“And yet – Venezuela is not an idea. It is a real place, full of real people who are undergoing an unprecedented and in some ways very eerie crisis. If it symbolizes anything at all, it is the distorting power of symbols. In reality, the country offers no comfort for youthful Marxists or self-styled anti-imperialists – or for fans of Donald Trump.”
Why would it offer comfort for fans of Trump? ALL OF US ARE LITERALLY AGAINST EVERYTHING VENEZUELA HAS BECOME! We are against the socialist system that has driven it to this point. We are against the socialist system BERNIE SANDERS wishes to impose on us because we recognize IT’S THE EXACT SAME FREAKING ONE!
As the writer of this piece points out, Chavez consolidated power through changing the rules of elections, packing the courts and altering the electoral system so that no one has any chance at beating him. Does that more closely describe the desires of Trump OR THE DEMOCRATS WHO CRY “RUSSIA, RUSSIA” AND WANT TO ELIMINATE THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE AND MAKE D.C. A NEW STATE WITH SO MANY DELEGATES THAT IT OVERRIDES VIRTUALLY EVERYONE ELSE!? DEMOCRATS want to do exactly this. THEY are the ones that want to change the rules of elections, eliminating the electoral college, and pack the courts so that everything they do becomes legitimized by these courts.
The piece also points out the health crisis going on in Venezuela, particularly with food and water shortages. Who exactly wants to socialize medicine in the States, much like Chavez did in Venezuela, Trump or the Democrats?
The idea that Donald Trump is in any way like Chavez is so ignorant, it hurts. The piece even points out that “Venezuela is the endgame of ideological Marxism”, as I mentioned earlier, and still believes TRUMP to be more like the dictators following this ideology than anyone else in American politics. It’s absolutely LUDICROUS.
Every dictator that they say Trump is like, from Hitler, to Stalin, to Mao, to Mussolini, to Chavez, to Maduro, was/is from the FAR-LEFT, COMMUNIST SIDE OF THE POLITICAL AISLE.
Each of these dictators increased the size of the government, nationalizing entire industries. For crying out loud, Volkswagen was created as a STATE-OWNED COMPANY BY THE NAZIS! Each of these socialist/communist dictatorships nationalized healthcare, insurance, banks, EVERYTHING!
The bread lines that people in the Soviet Union had to stand in, or people in Venezuela currently have to stand in, have been PRAISED by Bernie Sanders! Just last week, I wrote an entire article talking about how much of a communist Bernie Sanders is, espousing the exact same ideologies that these communist dictators espouse/espoused, some of which Bernie has PRAISED like Fidel Castro! Don’t even remotely try and tell me that TRUMP has anything in common with these communists because that is a take pretty much NO ONE on either side of the aisle will agree with.
Communists hate Trump because he isn’t a communist. Capitalists love Trump for the exact same reason. Anyone arguing Trump is anything like these fascist thugs is a liar. Matter of fact, the most Applebaum can claim Trump has in common with Chavez (things that are still ridiculous) are the claims of “assault on democracy, courts, and the press.”
Like I said, the Democrats are the ones trying to change the rules of our electoral system and packing our courts. As far as the press goes, keep in mind that they make no effort to be unbiased or even show they are unbiased. They falsely claim to be objective but show none of it and work to directly undermine Trump. The press in Venezuela, China, the USSR, Nazi Germany and any other socialist nation works FOR the government and the leader of those nations. You will never see the press be critical of the government because THEY WORK FOR THE GOVERNMENT.
The leaders of communist nations CONTROL the media. The media in this country works at the behest of THE DEMOCRAT PARTY, something that’s long been the case since before Trump became POTUS. I mean, they ran with everything John Kerry and Obama were telling them about the Iran nuke deal, and still do to this day to try and defend Obama’s sorry and diminishing legacy. For those eight years, much of the media acted like the media in these dictatorships because if they went against the president, there would be negative consequences.
One simply cannot excoriate the far-left Marxist ideology and somehow tie it to Donald Trump. There is no basis for such an action and, again, no one on either side of the aisle would agree with this sentiment.

There are roughly two or three narratives regarding the economy in certain Leftists’ minds. One of them is that the economy is not doing well at all, and that someone has to “fix” it, which is a very clear lie that even contradicts a different narrative that I will cover in a second. Another narrative is that the economy is nothing special and we should not focus on it. That is the narrative many on the Left choose to follow, sort of, because the economy is doing too good for them to realistically argue against it. They would much rather attack Trump’s “racism” or “sexism” or “bigotry” than tackle his successful track record as POTUS because they know they would come up awfully short (especially Michael Bloomberg). But finally, the third narrative is one that only one person would be foolish enough to try: Obama is the one who can take credit for this economy.
And who else to try and peddle this hilarious lie than the former Liar-in-Chief, former President Barack Hussein Obama?
Earlier this week, Obama tweeted: “Eleven years ago today, near the bottom of the worst recession in generations, I signed the Recovery Act, paving the way for more than a decade of economic growth and the longest streak of job creation in American history.”
In the words of a certain communist former president: “You didn’t build that.”
It is laughable that Obama would try to take credit for this economy (yet again) because we saw nothing of the sort regarding job creation or economic recovery at any point in his presidency.
A Forbes op-ed published in 2016, the last full year of Obama’s presidency, said: “The Obama recovery of the last seven years remains the worst in post-war American history. Average gross domestic product (GDP) growth since the bottom of the recession in 2009 was barely above 2.1% per year. The average since 1949 is well above 4% per year during the previous 10 expansions.”
“I believe the root cause of abysmal growth is the huge tax increases imposed by Obama and the Democrats in Congress since 2008. The most harmful were the increase in the capital gains tax from 15 to 20 percent, the increase in top bracket income from 35 to 39.6 percent, and the new tax of 3.8 percent on investment income in the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The massive increase in regulatory burden through the ACA and Dodd-Frank bills are also crushing, but unfortunately are harder to measure.”
Investor’s Business Daily also pointed out how bad the Obama economy was back in 2018 when the former POTUS also tried to take credit for the Trump economy:
“The rate of GDP growth was decelerating in Obama’s last year. It went from 2.3% in Q2, to 1.9% in Q3 to 1.8% in Q4 of 2016. Under Trump, GDP growth has averaged 2.9%. It was 4.2% last quarter and might be higher in the current one. The stock market also was stuck in neutral the year before the November 2016 elections. The Dow is up by some 45% since then.”
“Real median family income didn’t budge from August 2015 to November 2016, according to Sentier Research. It’s up more than 4% since Trump came into office. Wages are on the upswing. In Obama’s last year, unemployment rate remained basically unchanged – it was 4.9% in Jan. 2016, and 4.8% when Trump took office in Jan. 2017. Now it’s down to 3.9%.”
The National Review also highlighted some of Trump’s economic accomplishments since taking office:
“The census report ten days ago revealed workers’ earnings increasing at 3.4 percent annually, a rate not seen since the best of the Reagan years, and the poverty rate has declined to 11.8 percent, the best figure that has been recorded since the end of the Clinton administration and still resolutely proceeding in the right direction. Unemployment is at its lowest percentage since the Lyndon Johnson administration more than 50 years ago (and the numbers then were helped by having 545,000 conscripts in Vietnam). Minority groups are the principal beneficiaries of the Trump economy; it isn’t trickle-down, it’s surge-up. Average income for female-led single-parent households jumped 7.6 percent last year, well ahead of gains in higher income groups.”
“The poverty rate among female-led households fell 2.7 percent for African Americans, and 4 percent for Hispanics. Industries largely populated by women (and, historically, exploited women), especially hospitality and, to a lesser extent, health care, showed strong earnings gains, even as unemployment rates for African-American and Hispanic women fell to under 4.5 percent.”
“Another partisan Democratic falsehood that is exposed by the census is the myth that the middle class is shrinking. The percentage of total families at the lowest economic levels has fallen by over 1 whole percent and the brackets from $50,000 to $150,000 and above $200,000 have both increased by almost 1 whole percent (several million people in each case). There were sharp increases in the incomes of younger families (up to age 34).”
The contrast between the Obama and Trump economies are day and night, with the Obama economy having been absolute garbage and the Trump economy being the best economy we have seen in decades. It’s no surprise that jealous Barack Obama would attempt to take credit for this economy, which he had nothing to do with.
It’s also no surprise that the President’s team (as well as Trump himself and a slew of other people) reacted with mockery or simply telling it like it is in order to set the record straight as to whom should the credit go.
In a statement to Fox News from the Trump campaign’s national press secretary: “President Trump reversed every single failed Obama-era economic policy, and with it, reversed the floundering Obama/Biden economy. Obama and Biden orchestrated the worst economic recovery in modern history. By contrast, through deregulating, lowering taxes, and supporting free-market policies, President Trump has created the hottest economy on record, with unemployment hitting generational lows and all-time lows for African Americans, Hispanics, the disabled, veterans and many other hard-working Americans.”
“Paychecks are growing at the fastest pace in a decade and twice as fast for low- and middle-income Americans. It’s no wonder Democrats seek to take credit for the Trump economy after eight years of betraying blue-collar workers and inflicting pain upon the middle class as Americans everywhere suffered.”
“But the failed days of Democrat stagnation are over, and the soaring Trump economy is here to stay,” added the press secretary.
The President himself reacted to this on Twitter, writing: “Did you hear the latest con job? President Obama is now trying to take credit for the Economic Boom taking place under the Trump Administration. He had the WEAKEST recovery since the Great Depression, despite Zero Fed Rate & MASSIVE quantitative easing. NOW, best jobs numbers ever. Had to rebuild our military, which was totally depleted. Fed Rate UP, taxes and regulations WAY DOWN. If Dems won in 2016, the USA would be in big economic (Depression?) & military trouble right now. THE BEST IS YET TO COME. KEEP AMERICA GREAT!”
As previously said, it really is no surprise that Obama would try and steal credit for the good economy. For EIGHT YEARS, he blamed his predecessor for a bad economy. And while that could feasibly work for the first couple of years coming off a recession that began with the previous administration, the economy was TERRIBLE for his entire tenure in both terms.
I remember hearing Bill Clinton trying to give Obama credit for a “great” economic recovery that “even he” could not have orchestrated back during the 2016 election cycle to get people to believe the economy was good and that Hillary would continue Obama’s legacy (which she would have but that isn’t a good thing), but there was no such economic recovery. Things HARDLY got much better and that’s because the only place to go for the Obama economy was up, and even THEN, it didn’t go up by much.
The unemployment rates went down largely because people either stopped looking for jobs, got government contract work or got part-time jobs. Things that make the unemployment rate go down artificially. Trump’s economic recovery is REAL growth for our country, with people finding full-time jobs and there being a virtual SURPLUS of jobs.
The stock market went up during the Obama years largely because companies were buying their own stocks to artificially raise them. The only thing that’s artificial about the Trump economy is the fake news media’s claims that we are headed towards a recession, and even that garbage has largely been dropped because of how virtually IMPOSSIBLE it is for a recession to happen in this economic climate.
Obama was a terrible jobs president, to the point where he openly mocked Trump’s promises to bring manufacturing jobs back, saying “what magic wand do you have?”
Well, this is his magic wand: A REAL ECONOMY WITH A REAL RECOVERY FROM OBAMA’S TERRIBLE TENURE AS POTUS.
An economy so good, most Democrats will go to lengths to avoid discussing it, some Democrats will foolishly and laughably attempt to severely downplay it, and one will attempt to take sole credit for it when such credit is not due to him.
THIS is how you Make America Great Again.

As if the Left didn’t have enough things to be perpetually angry about, this week has been particularly tough for Democrats, and even though I am not supposed to allow my heart to rejoice when my enemy stumbles, I am going to be at least a teensy-weensy bit happy about recent developments, particularly as some are coupled with rather good news.
Let us begin with Garfield’s least favorite day: Monday, when the Democrats began the apparently semester-long process of running an Iowa caucus and declaring a winner.
Even though a winner should have been declared by that night (and the Republicans had no trouble at all calling the caucus in favor of Trump), it’s actually been a few days and the last thing I remember about it was someone saying that the process was about 97% done, with Bernie and Buttigieg being extremely close to one another, but with Buttigieg having a slight lead (so far). What I would like to point out is how extremely dubious this process has been.
It definitely didn’t help that the Democrats used a voting app developed by a company literally called Shadow Inc., which was founded by a woman whose husband is a senior strategist for Pete Buttigieg, who is coincidentally (or maybe not so coincidentally) one of the two most likely winners of this caucus. The app, reportedly, was a complete mess with not showing everyone who was on the ballot all too clearly, leading some people to have to vote for someone else instead of their favored candidate.
Now, to be fair to the company that literally sounds like they would be an evil corporation fighting Superman, the app wasn’t the only malfunction for the Democrats throughout the night. According to the Daily Caller: “An Iowa precinct secretary was just on the phone with CNN, got off hold with the Iowa Democratic Party to report his results, and was hung up on [by the DNC].”
So there were technical errors and human errors at play. Unsurprisingly, this led to Bernie supporters, who knew that going into the caucus their preferred candidate had a massive lead over everyone else, to get angry and storm out of the caucus, according to Philip Klein of the Washington Examiner.
He wrote: “So Sanders had more than twice as much support as any other candidate at [a particular precinct], but due to some savvy dealmaking and complicated delegate math, they ended up in a 5-way tie for delegates, one apiece. And they [Bernie supporters] were not happy.”
Of course, this led to much mockery online, with many on the Right making the point that “if Democrats can’t properly operate their own caucus and it’s this much of a mess, how can they be trusted to run our healthcare?” and things like that. Of course, given the shadiness of the entire thing, and given how blatantly obvious the DNC is in trying to keep Bernie from winning the nomination, I think it has less to do with horrendous incompetence and more to do with trying to rig things in their favor, delaying results until they are either more favorable to them or until Sanders comes out as the winner (which is the most likely scenario but Buttigieg still has a bit of a lead in delegate count, so it could go either way 97% in) but he has next to no momentum going into the New Hampshire caucus next week.
Now, I must say that I do not have any tangible evidence of such rigging of things. I wouldn’t put it past the Democrats to be THIS incompetent; it is within the realm of possibility. So I won’t say that they definitely are trying to rig this thing, but one cannot blame me for at least being suspicious of the way things are being handled. Their desire to keep Bernie away from the nomination is no real secret. That, paired with the fact they are employing a voting app run by someone with ties to one particular candidate, and that particular candidate is being reported as leading in delegate numbers, possibly rendering him the winner of the caucus and you can’t fault people for thinking the fix is in.
Biden is an extremely weak candidate who only looks weaker and weaker as time goes on, so Mayor Pete might be the establishment’s replacement for Biden.
Regardless, I’ve spoken plenty about this particular catastrophe for the Democrats and I wish to move on. Final thoughts, though: I cannot help but laugh at either the blatant rigging of the Democrats’ own primaries or the mind-numbing incompetence of an entire political party.
Now, let’s move on to something I’ve previously covered, and actually wrote about yesterday, so I don’t have too much to say about this: the President’s State of the Union address.
As I mentioned in my previous article, Trump destroyed the Democrats by simply pointing out his great success as POTUS and excoriated them for the dangerous socialist policies they wish to espouse such as the “sanctuary city” policies, the Medicare-for-All plan that will kick hundreds of millions of Americans off of their current health insurance, among other things.
He highlighted the booming economy that we are experiencing, and on that particular night, helped a little girl to receive a scholarship so that she could go to the school of her choice instead of a garbage government school, applauded the services of a man tragically killed by Soleimani while also celebrating the terrorist’s death (as well as al-Baghdadi’s death), and overall made the Democrats look like petty fools, with the queen of the fools sitting just behind him and to the left of him, when she decided to tear the speech in half (which could get her a criminal referral, but she’s a Democrat and they get away with whatever they want, so don’t expect anything to come out of this).
The State of the Union address highlighted the failures of the previous administration and accentuated the failures of the current Democrats by virtue of having Trump being the one to deliver the address. They failed to beat him in 2016; failed to get rid of him for 3 years, running on crap like the Russia hoax, campaign finance “violations”, a bad past with a porn star and most recently, with a Ukraine phone call that is out there for anyone to read and see that no criminal activity or intent was present in what the Democrats are calling a “constitutional crisis” (though they call literally everything Trump does a “constitutional crisis” so that term is quickly losing its luster); and were one night away from experiencing yet another failure: failing to remove him from office.
Which brings me to what happened on Wednesday, with the Senate vote to acquit the President of the United States for life.
This one, unfortunately, is not quite as bad as I wish it would’ve been for the Democrats thanks to the actions of a single man: Pierre Delecto aka Mitt Romney.
From the beginning of the impeachment sham, it was clear Trump was not going to be convicted of anything and that became more apparent as time went on. The Democrats and the media, however, were somehow convinced that there was a real possibility that Trump would be convicted. Some polls attempted to show that “a majority” of Americans wanted to remove Trump (but there was clear oversampling of Democrats in those polls, so they were fake news) and the media, with those dirty polls, deluded themselves into believing Republicans would be scared to the point of removing Trump to save their own careers.
But as time went on, even their own polls began to betray them, with people losing interest in impeachment and less people wanting to remove (again, according to their own polls). The Democrats failed to make any sort of convincing argument, particularly because the transcripts were released and available for anyone to see (though I suspect the Democrats didn’t expect Trump to release the transcripts, so that threw a wrench into their plans) and because the whistleblower, the guy who supposedly kickstarted this whole process, was never called in despite being the initial accuser of the President.
Of course, the Democrats COULDN’T call in the whistleblower because he had obvious ties to Adam Schiff and because it was made clear that the IG, an Obama holdover, changed the rules for whistleblowing from having to be a first-hand source to allowing for second-hand information to be considered valid whistleblowing, so calling in the whistleblower would’ve left the Democrats very vulnerable. All of these things made the impeachment even more shady and made it tougher for the obviously corrupt Democrats to try and convince people that Trump was the corrupt one.
Now, there is far more to the impeachment topic, such as the Democrats blocking the Republicans from calling in their own witnesses, Democrats only being able to bring up two extremely vague articles of impeachment and passing them both in an entirely partisan manner (with votes against impeachment having been bipartisan), Nancy holding the articles to try and get McConnell to do what she wants in a Senate trial (which was foolish from the start, but is about on par with this woman’s intelligence) and the Democrats wanting more witnesses despite the fact that they had every opportunity to call in as many witnesses as they wanted in the House if they didn’t rush impeachment like they did just so they could impeach Trump by Christmas. The entire thing was an exercise in futility and marred in corruption and stupidity, but that is the Democrat Party’s MO, isn’t it?
As a result of all the tomfoolery going on here, the Senate voted to acquit the President for life on both charges, with the first article of impeachment – abuse of power – receiving a 52-48 vote (with Pierre being the only Republican voting to convict, making him the first idiot senator ever to convict a president of his own party) and with the second article of impeachment – obstruction of Congress – receiving a 53-47 vote, falling WAY short of the 67 votes the Democrats needed to remove Trump by 19 votes and 20 votes respectively.
So the Democrats made themselves look like idiots at best and cheaters at worst on Monday, petty and anti-American fools on Tuesday and pathetic failures on Wednesday who are, in all likelihood, going to suffer major losses come November as a result of this impeachment sham (coupled with the fact that not a single Democrat presidential candidate has any hope of beating Trump, especially if the Democrats steal the nomination away from Bernie again, thus angering his base once again).
The only week that will be worse than this one for Democrats will be the week following Trump’s re-election.
“For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.”

The day after the hilariously blatant attempt by the Democrat Party to steal the nomination away from Bernie (again) in Iowa, President Donald J. Trump delivered his third State of the Union address, highlighting the multiple achievements his administration has accomplished and warning of the dangers of the Left’s insane ideologies in a number of ways (and, by the way, according to a CBS News poll, 97% of Republicans, 30% of Democrats and 82% of Independents all approved of the speech, which are the same numbers as 2019's SOTU).
The President highlighted the successes his administration has had on the economy, seeing a roaring economy taking place across our nation:
“The unemployment rate for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Asian Americans has reached the lowest levels in history… African-American youth unemployment has reached an all-time low. African-American poverty has declined to the lowest rate ever recorded… The veteran unemployment rate dropped to a record low… The unemployment rate for disabled Americans has reached an all-time low.”
Of course, the Democrats could not be bothered to stand up and cheer this because they do not care about the welfare of this country if they are not the ones that can boast about it. During the Obama years, we experienced a period of economic stagnation and were even told by the POTUS himself that the best days were behind us and that that was the “new normal”. The American people refused to buy that b.s., which is one of the biggest reasons Trump got elected, and as with many other promises, Trump has kept his promise to make America’s economy great again.
The period of economic stagnation seems like ages ago and we are witnessing an economy that is roaring like never before, what with great annual and monthly GDPs, unemployment rates continuing to reach new lows across multiple demographics, consumer confidence being at decades’ high, the stock market reaching new heights, people’s wages going up especially for those in lower-income households and 7 million new jobs being created, with 3.5 million working-age people joining the workforce. The fact that Democrats refused to stand up and applaud this, even going so far as to deny that these things are happening (which at this point is like trying to deny the force of gravity) says plenty about them but we’re not done showing the pettiness and disgusting nature of the Democrats.
President Trump also made a number of surprise moves during the speech.
For instance, he awarded a scholarship to a fourth-grade girl to send her to a school of her choice, as opposed to forcing her to go to a failed government school: “Janiyah, I am pleased to inform you that your long wait is over. I can proudly announce tonight that an Opportunity Scholarship has become available, it is going to you, and you will soon be heading to the school of your choice.”
Because this highlighted the potential for school choice for children, the Democrats refused to stand up and applaud this. They are more than happy to send that young girl to a crappy school so that she would be indoctrinated and given such poor education that she becomes totally dependent on the government for assistance. They would be more than happy to ruin the girl’s life forever if it meant she was a slave to the government and the Democrat Party.
The President also reunited an Army wife with her husband in a moment that people tend to love seeing online.
He also awarded conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh with the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his great contributions to this country. El Rushbo had recently announced on his show that he had “advanced lung cancer” and that he would, unfortunately, miss a few days every now and again to receive treatment. Having been on the radio for over 30 years, Rush is basically a trailblazer for conservative media now-a-days. Without him, much of the fake news media that had a monopoly on information before the 1990s would likely still have such a monopoly and conservative shows and publications would likely not be where they are today without him, so as a result, the President honored him with the highest civilian honor he can bestow, and it is much deserved.
The President also noted that in attendance was Venezuela’s legitimate President, Juan Guaido, who is still trying to wrestle away the power that the current illegitimate ruler, Nicolas Maduro, possesses. While this is not likely to do much in the short-term, it goes to show that the President of the United States recognizes the legitimacy of Guaido as President of Venezuela. That can go a long way.
The President also honored one of the last surviving Tuskegee Airmen, celebrating his bravery and noting that newly-promoted General Charles McGee’s own grandson wished to follow in his grandpa’s footsteps, dreaming of joining the newly-formed Space Force. It’s worth noting that almost everyone in attendance applauded General McGee except for three nasty people: Ilhan “Married My Brother” Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Rep. Mark Pocan (D-WI).
Other things the Democrats refused to applaud, you might ask (if you didn’t watch the SOTU)?
They, as mentioned previously, didn’t applaud the roaring economy and the record-low unemployment rates for African-Americans, Hispanics, women, the disabled, young workers, etc. because they do not actually care about minorities and never have.
They didn’t applaud the simple fact that America should not be a sanctuary for criminals, but for the law-abiding, when President Trump attacked “sanctuary city” policies that protect law-breakers at the cost of the safety of innocent civilians.
They didn’t applaud (though I don’t blame them) when Trump disparaged them for trying to take away the healthcare of 180 million Americans by forcing a socialist healthcare system.
They didn’t applaud the fact that USMCA was passed and signed into law, which honestly had me a tad confused. They had been trying to take away credit from Trump regarding this, but allowed him to take all the credit by not applauding its passage, even though it received great bipartisan support. I fully expected them to applaud to try and congratulate themselves a little and take away Trump’s credit, but by not doing that, they allowed Trump to receive all the credit for it. Make this political mistake #3 for them, after not applauding the strength of the union and the great economic numbers.
They also didn’t applaud the miraculous survival of an extremely premature baby, who was born at 21 weeks of pregnancy and is four years old today. They likely didn’t applaud this because they would’ve loved the chance to sacrifice that baby to Baal and were denied that opportunity because of pro-life policies. The President also made sure to mention the importance of protecting unborn babies because there is no denying the life that is inside the womb. Democrats are at the point where they will support abortion at any stage in the pregnancy, despite the fact that 1) the babies in the womb are ALIVE and 2) babies tend to be viable at around the time that that girl was born, which is around four months. For most of the pregnancy, a baby is viable and can live outside the womb (with varying levels of difficulty), and yet, demonic Democrats do not believe such people to be alive.
Given the chance, they would’ve added that little girl to the number of victims of this ongoing holocaust.
However, all the pettiness the Democrats displayed during the speech is dwarfed by the simple act of astounding pettiness that Nancy Pelosi demonstrated once the speech was over: ripping the speech in half, as seen in the picture at the top.
The woman is completely petty for a number of reasons. First of all, she is a massive failure and she knows it. She tried to get impeachment done as soon as possible because Trump was such a “danger” to the country that he needed to be promptly impeached in what can only be described as a bastardized process and a complete sham, calling in as many Democrat “witnesses” who witnessed nothing and could only give fifth-hand accounts at best and pure speculation and opinion at worst (and that’s what they usually did) while denying Republicans the chance to call on any of their own witnesses, only to hold off on delivering the TWO articles of impeachment that were so laughably vague even some of the Democrats’ witnesses were baffled by it because she couldn’t control Mitch McConnell and have her dream impeachment trial in the Senate.
What’s more, the only reason she launched and rushed this impeachment like this is because she felt pressured by far-Left idiots like the Squad, who all employ a system of redistribution of brain cells amongst one another, to do something when there was no way in Hell this was going to end well for the Democrats. She’s a failure not only as a politician, despite her multi-decade career experience, but as a “leader” too, since no one believes she is in charge of the Democrat House.
She failed to get bipartisan support for impeachment, only receiving bipartisan support AGAINST impeachment; failed to get her way in a Senate trial because she had no leverage at any point in her little one-woman stand-off with McConnell; failed to draw any type of support in favor of impeachment from the American people; failed to draw much INTEREST in what is usually considered a massive deal in American politics; and has now failed to get rid of President Trump (though snakes like Romney certainly tried to please her). She knew how big of a screw-up she was, which is part of the reason she refused to properly introduce the President to the House Chamber. She rationalizes that she tore up the speech for two reasons: one, Trump didn’t shake her hand (which is laughable because he also didn’t shake Pence’s hand but regardless of whether or not he did, she did not deserve the least bit of respect from the guy she was trying to oust) and two, that the speech didn’t contain any “truth” in it, despite the fact that the speech was entirely supported by facts.
Like I said, it’s undeniable that we have a roaring economy. The stats are right there. And even if you do want to contest these facts, there is no denying the facts presented regarding the people Trump celebrated. Ripping the speech in half and saying it was filled with lies greatly disrespects the Tuskegee airman and his grandson, the Army husband recently reunited with his family, the widow and family of a soldier killed by Soleimani, the President of Venezuela’s legitimacy and the miraculous life of a baby born at 21 weeks.
Even if you delude yourself to the point of contesting reality, you come off as extremely disrespectful by ripping the speech in half and saying that none of the pages held any truth to them.
Make this mistake #4 and the biggest one of the night for Democrats. The pettiness and ugliness of the Democrat Party at hearing great news of an America made great again was characterized by one simple action. That action also gives Republicans plenty more ammunition (of which they have a surplus at this point) to attack the Democrats for.
Maybe Nancy can try and excuse her actions and say that she mistook the speech for Iowa Caucus votes for Bernie?
