On June 22nd, 2017, Senate Republicans revealed the Health Care bill they’ve been working on in order to repeal and replace the disastrous Obamacare mandate. However, Reuters pre-emptively wrote a story and ran a poll that says most Americans disapprove and dislike the Republican’s health care bill, with a supposed “Trump supporter” saying that “it’ll make people’s deductibles skyrocket.” One of the key questions to ask here is: “How could anyone know what the bill was going to do before Republicans announced what it would do?” But that question is simply not the largest one here. No, the largest question here is this article’s title. Is the MSM getting lazy when it comes to trashing Trump (and, by extension, Republicans)? I mean, Reuters wrote this article THE DAY BEFORE THE DETAILS FOR THE BILL WERE ANNOUNCED! And to make matters worse (for the MSM), they ran their poll 9 DAYS BEFORE JUNE 22nd! It’s truly incredible how lazy this story is. For anyone that actually pays attention to the world around them, they would know that no one would be able to say “deductibles will skyrocket” when the details for the plan had yet to be announced. And the thing is: the MSM is usually good at hiding their b.s. What I mean by that is that the MSM, if they write stories like these (which are still full of b.s.), they will publish them either the day the details are announced, or a day or two later. But when they write stories depicting that most Americans dislike the bill before they know what it is shows signs of laziness. The MSM hasn’t been credible for the longest time. But they don’t exactly help themselves when they publish stories that are very obviously untrue. No one, before the 22nd, knew what was in the bill. So when they have a supposed “Trump supporter” saying that she knows deductibles will skyrocket, no one will believe them. Trump supporters won’t believe them. Even people on the Left (provided they have the necessary information) won’t believe them. No liberal, if they know that the plans had yet to be announced, would believe that most Americans hate the plan before they know what is in it. So is the MSM (at least Reuters) being lazy here? I don’t know. All I know is that the MSM typically doesn’t make these kinds of mistakes. While they do publish b.s. stories on a daily basis, they usually time them right. According to the Reuters poll that they ran: “a majority of the country thinks the [Senate] American Health Care Act would be harmful for low-income Americans, people with pre-existing health conditions and Medicaid recipients.' Then they go on to discuss the HOUSE plan, which will not be voted on at all this week, instead of the SENATE plan, which was unveiled last week. Either Reuters is incredibly CONFUSED or devilish DECEITFUL. Back in 2010, when Obamacare was passed, Nancy Pelosi famously said “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.” Back then, I was opposed to it, not because of what was in it (how could I know, NO ONE TOLD US!) but largely because WE DIDN’T know what was in it. Also because it meant that the government would take control of healthcare in the country, but still. I didn’t like the bill because it was the equivalent to signing a deal to get mortgage for a house without reading the contract. People always say that you should read contracts before signing them so that you don’t get bamboozled. And bamboozled, we got. Obamacare was a dumpster fire of a mandate from the start and it’s taken Republicans 7 years to come up with a substitute (whether or not it will work, we shall see if it is passed.) But the fact remains that we (conservatives) didn’t like Obamacare because of what it would mean, not for what it contained. No one can realistically say that they didn’t like this new bill before it was announced. It’s the equivalent of a child saying that they don’t like a certain food because they’ve never had it. But beyond that, the fact that Reuters messed up so obviously is surprising. And that’s why this article’s title is what it is. Are they getting lazy? They must be, if they severely mistimed the publishing of that article and the running of that poll. But maybe, this is a sign of something larger: the Trump Effect. Maybe the Trump Effect has a hand in this. We know that the Left has suffered loss after loss in elections. And we know that their credibility has been going down the drain. Maybe the fact that the Left can’t defeat Trump is starting to affect their efficiency. Maybe, they’ve been so affected by their constant losing against Trump and other Republicans that they’re starting to seriously lose it. That they’re growing desperate. They so desperately want most people to be on their side that they’re beginning to make obvious mistakes. I don’t know. That’s merely my theory. All I know is that I’m very glad and happy to see the Left in the state they are in, and hope to see them that way for the foreseeable future. And while the Bible says that I should not rejoice when my enemy falls and to not let my heart be glad when he stumbles, I think God will forgive me for being happy that one of the largest evil organizations in the world (the Democrat Party and the Left as a whole) is finally suffering loss after loss, and that they don’t know what to do about it. Because this means that they are incapable of seriously damaging the country and implementing laws that go against the Bible like they were doing for the previous 8 years. Proverbs 24:17 “Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles.”
