On Thursday, Michael Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer, pleaded guilty to lying to Congress regarding a supposed deal Trump had with the Russian government about building a Trump Tower in Moscow and when such a deal was put to an end. Allow me to specifically explain to you just why this means absolutely nothing.
First of all, Michael Cohen is not exactly a trustworthy character. He flipped on Trump months ago, alleged that Trump knew about the payments made to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal, and had his lawyer “brag” about Cohen knowing things that would help the Mueller investigation. He had already been charged for violating campaign finance law by the time he made this claim anyway.
So in response to this, Trump has said that Cohen was lying and that he is “weak”.
Second of all, let’s just say that Trump, indeed, was working some sort of deal with Russia by June of 2016, which Cohen is now alleging instead of the original January 2016 claim. It was about building a Trump Tower in Moscow. That’s not exactly illegal, even if Cohen was right. This is the equivalent of the media saying: “Breaking news: Trump has been found to have been a businessman before becoming President!”
So obviously, they can’t get Trump with that. So what is their best hope here? To further charge, which they’re doing, Cohen with perjury… for giving the wrong dates.
If Cohen was lying about when this supposed deal was taking place or was put to an end, then Cohen is the one being punished.
Like I said, Trump has responded to this and said Cohen was lying, that he is weak and that he is “trying to get a reduced sentence for things that have nothing to do with me.”
Which brings me to my third point: none of this has to do with Trump colluding with Russia to steal the U.S. election. At best, this is a political stunt to indicate to people that Trump had communication with Russians during the campaign, even if it had nothing to do with politics.
So for those who were thinking that this could be a “smoking gun” into Russian collusion (which Rosenstein has gone as far as to admit that the election results were not altered), think again. The matter doesn’t even involve the allegation of Russian collusion regarding the election. It just talks about a supposed business deal about building a building in Moscow and when such a deal was put to an end, either in January or June of 2016.
This is just a publicity stunt that comes just before another meeting between Trump and foreign officials. The last time this happened was when Rosenstein was announcing some developments regarding the investigation into Russian meddling and collusion, where Rosenstein admitted that not a single vote was changed and there was no alteration of the results of the election.
Not only that, this comes immediately following news of Manafort’s lawyers reportedly talking with Trump’s lawyers after Manafort’s plea deal with the special counsel had been rescinded.
Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Guilliani, said that Mueller “wants Manafort to incriminate Trump”, in response to learning that Manafort had been interrogated by the counsel to find out whether or not Trump knew about the June 2016 meeting between Trump Jr. and a Russian woman who said she had dirt on Hillary (and I’ve already established how that’s not illegal, albeit not exactly morally right).
So if you look carefully into every single story regarding something the special counsel has found or is doing, you will find a whole lot of nothing-burgers. There is no criminal activity going on anywhere that the special counsel looks, and the only charges that have been filed have been for process crimes, things that have nothing to do with Trump, or charges to Russians who will never see a U.S. court room to challenge the charges.
Following in that same pattern, this story also offers a whole lot of nothing. So to those who think Mueller is “steamrolling” Trump (as I’ve seen people tweet recently), you might want to rethink some things. There is nothing criminal about any of this. And if you wish to allege Trump is lying here, that’s fine. Because he is not under oath and has not gone to the FBI, the special counsel or Congress to testify about this. He has answered some questions for Mueller in written form, and we shall see what that brings about, if anything at all, but he cannot be found guilty of perjury here.
Cohen can, Manafort can, but not Trump, not yet at least.
This is simply a publicity stunt served to light a fire underneath Leftists and NeverTrumpers to try and get rid of the guy. I don’t know if I should laugh or be sad by this for a number of reasons. Number one, the biggest reason Trump gets the hatred that he does is that he dares oppose the Left. The biggest reason “conservative” NeverTrumpers hate him is because he is brutish, loud and does not pull any punches. The same people that supposedly opposed Obama also oppose Trump because they love being miserable.
Number two, these people would need two-thirds of the Senate to impeach Trump. For as much as House Democrats pound their puny chests about how they’re going to impeach Trump, it’s not the House that votes on it, it’s the Senate, which the Democrats LOST GROUND in.
Now, I’m sure that RINOs like Mitt Romney and others would vote with Democrats to impeach Trump, but I doubt there are enough such Republicans in the new Senate. John McCain is dead, Flake and Corker are on the way out, and many pro-Trump conservatives won their races, not to mention some previous NeverTrumpers have now seemingly joined Trump such as Mitch McConnell and Lindsay Graham.
And let me remind you that a two-thirds vote in the Senate means getting 66 or 67 votes to just START the process. They would need to gather more votes to also overrule the almost certain veto that the Vice President would give in such an instance.
So believe me, Trump is not going to be impeached. Unless it is found that he has done something so egregious, criminal and unbelievably horrid that it would cause literally everyone who has ever supported him to turn their backs on him, it’s not happening. And considering what the special counsel has found out after ALMOST TWO WHOLE YEARS of “investigating”, I doubt they will find anything even remotely close to that.
This latest stunt really does nothing to criminalize Trump. Those who want him gone already believe the bullcrap of Russian collusion, and this hardly does anything to further that belief beyond saying “Trump was communicating with the Russians during the campaign, so he must’ve colluded!” There are a lot of things wrong with that, apart from the simple fact that that very well could be a lie fabricated by a long-time Democrat lawyer who secretly recorded his conversations with his clients (at least with Trump) who is in cahoots with an Establishment hack of a lawyer investigating a person rather than a crime, banana republic-style.
Every single time there is any sort of news regarding the special counsel, and now Cohen, the Left and NeverTrumpers get giddy over the possibility of seeing Trump finally crumbling. And yet, after some remote review of the facts, it’s clear that the supposed “smoking gun” is just a Nerf gun at best and there’s nothing criminal going on.
And that’s even assuming that what is being alleged is true at all, given that those who are alleging these things are not exactly reputable and trustworthy people.
On a separate note, since it’s very clear that lying to Congress is a crime, I’ll just wait for similar charges to drop on Comey, Brennan, Jack Dorsey, Peter Strzok, Mark Zuckerberg, Christine Blasey Ford and just about anyone who has gone before Congress and has willingly lied to them (the textbook definition of perjury).
I wish I could be serious about that previous paragraph, but since there exists a double-standard in our justice system where we only punish those whom the Left wishes to punish, such charges will almost certainly never be brought up. The Left is making sure that Lady Justice peeks under the blindfold.

There were two big news stories told this week. One was the discovery of Mollie Tibbetts’ remains and subsequent arrest of an illegal alien suspected in her disappearance and murder, prompting many to bring up the urgent need of building a wall at the southern border with Mexico and the need to end DACA once and for all.
The other story, which I will be covering here (I wanted to mention the Tibbetts’ story because this happened at the same time as the trials and the MSM is either going to ignore this entirely or dismiss it as unimportant like the insensitive, heartless monsters they are) is the story of Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen being found guilty on several different charges.
Cohen was found guilty of violating campaign finance laws by paying off Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal, seemingly at the request of Donald Trump, while Manafort was found guilty of 8 charges of lying to the FBI and hiding his income, among other things.
These two cases have given the MSM a lot to talk about and hyped up the idea of finally moving to impeach President Trump. But there’s one problem with that. Actually, there’s multiple problems.
First, let’s focus on Manafort. If the Left thinks they can impeach Trump over anything Manafort related, they will be disappointed. What Manafort did happened well before Trump even decided to run for office. Nothing within the Manafort case implies Trump had anything to do with it. The point of the Manafort case was to get Manafort to flip on Trump, by applying pressure on him. Clearly, that didn’t work. Most likely because Manafort doesn’t have anything on Trump to flip on.
However, that does bring us to Cohen and the problem with thinking he could do much more than Manafort.
Cohen did flip on Trump. If you go by the train of thought that Manafort didn’t flip because he had nothing to flip on, then one can easily say that Cohen did flip because he DOES have something on Trump.
Here’s the problem with that train of thought, which really translates to the bigger problem for the Left in believing this will mark the end of Trump: even Mueller didn’t think there would be anything substantial here.
Granted, he could have misjudged, but the reason he sent the Cohen case to the SDNY is because there likely was nothing there for Mueller to use and wanted a lower court to look into it.
Now, this does bring us to Cohen’s and his lawyer Lanny Davis’ claims. Davis, particularly, told the New York Post: “Mr. Cohen has knowledge on certain subjects that should be of interest to the special counsel and is more than happy to tell the special counsel all that he knows.”
“Not just about the obvious possibility of a conspiracy to collude and corrupt the American democracy system in the 2016 election, which the Trump Tower meeting was all about, but also knowledge about the computer crime of hacking and whether or not Mr. Trump knew ahead of time about the crime and even cheered it on.”
This is music to my ears. Why? Because if this were poker, Davis just showed his tell for a massive bluff.
Here’s the thing: if Cohen did really have information that interests the special counsel, he already would have given it. Cohen knew that his affiliation with Trump and the supposed campaign finance laws he was breaking were going to get him a guilty verdict. He could save himself some jail time by giving Mueller what he wanted.
My guess is he doesn’t have anything on Trump. He clearly is a snake, given he has clearly flipped. If he had anything on Trump, he would have already given it to Mueller and saved his own skin. He has now been convicted of a crime, something he easily could have avoided (or made the punishment far less severe) if any of the tapes or any information he had could actually hurt Donald Trump.
Now, there are other claims, such as Cohen saying that he was acting under the orders of Trump to pay off the women. Trump claims he did not know about the payments. It’s a “he said, she said” and Cohen has a record for being a shady and untrustworthy character. Given he has nothing on Trump, it’s likely he has nothing to prove that Trump ordered the payments of Daniels and McDougal. If he did, given just about everyone with a double-digit IQ could tell he would be found guilty, he would have given the information to Mueller ages ago.
Again, it comes back to what he had on Trump. He can claim Trump is Osama bin Laden for all it matters. If he doesn’t have the evidence to prove it, Mueller and the Left have nothing to destroy Trump with.
Lanny Davis screwed up majorly here. He inadvertently revealed his hand is crap.
Sun Tzu once famously said: “Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak.”
Davis here is showing a lot of strength and bravado, promising that Cohen has info for the special counsel relating to collusion and even hacking of the elections, which is a narrative the Left dropped a long time ago.
It’s simply too good for the Left to be true. And in all likelihood, it isn’t.
So where does this realistically leave us? Well, with Manafort, Trump might pardon him. It will tick off the Left but not bring up any realistic theories of obstruction, given the Manafort case had nothing to do with the election. With Cohen, given what he has sought in his guilty plea and the claims his lawyer has been making, he will have to prove his claims. And when he can’t, there will be Hell to pay. So chances are good that everything he says from this moment onward will be a lie, because that is the only way they can even hope to hurt Trump (at least in poll numbers) and even that is not likely to work given that's what the Left has been trying to do for ages and failing miserably.
So, at the end of the day, the Cohen and Manafort trials (more specifically Cohen) leave us with a Democrat Party more actively seeking impeachment, bringing it to the forefront of the midterms, and an energized Trump base ready to bring in a red wave. Granted, this can also energize the Democrat base, so it will likely be a battle, but historically, Democrats have been winning when Republicans haven’t been voting. That doesn’t bode well for a Democrat Party that is doing everything they can to win the House and Senate. If Republicans turn out to vote, there is little hope for any blue wave and impeachment.
I know for a fact that I will go out to vote for the Republicans that I can in my state and will help Trump remain in the White House. Because as it stands, no matter what the special counsel wants to subpoena from Trump, he can’t prove any collusion and can’t get him impeached without Republicans voting for impeachment.
Why? Because no one who is sane (or at least unbiased) would consider paying off women as part of “campaign contributions.” In fact, Bradley Smith, former FEC chairman, has said in a WSJ editorial: "Not everything that might benefit a candidate is a campaign expense." In the editorial, he cites examples such as: paying a personal debt or buying a Rolex watch or a new suit... and even paying hush money... these payments are not campaign contributions, according to Mr. Smith.
Meanwhile, with these cases wrapped up, I’m sure the DOJ can now focus on the Uranium One deal and the illegality of the Steele dossier. I’m sure. (Sarcasm, in case that wasn’t clear).

Earlier this week, President Trump held a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which members of the media and Democrat Party, for some reason, expected him to address the Russian meddling into U.S. elections following the indictment of 13 Russian entities by the Mueller investigation. (Now I understand the reason for bringing up these charges again: to cause the firestorm we’re seeing).
And because he did not address the issue, even going so far as to say he trusts Putin more than U.S. intelligence, he is being attacked and berated by people on both sides of the aisle.
The media is calling his meeting “disgraceful”, John Brennan is calling it “treason” and more than “high crimes and misdemeanors”, RINOs are joining the Left once again in attacking Trump and even conservative figures such as Ben Shapiro, Newt Gingrich, and others have said it was a disgraceful meeting.
However, I see it entirely differently. Trump did what was best for his presidency in the long-term, even if it draws criticism and ire in the short-term. To even admit or give credence to the Mueller investigation means to give an inch to the opposition. That’s something you never do.
If you give an inch to the Left, they will take a mile. If Trump mentions, at least on camera, to Putin that they meddled in the elections and will be punished for it, not only does that tick off Putin, which is not the aim of Trump, but it gives legitimacy to the insane witch-hunt.
But there’s one thing that really needs to be said, regardless of your political leanings: while there was Russian ENTITIES meddling in the election, we have not seen any sort of Trump-Russia collusion, we have not seen Russia actually hacking anything (in regards to the DNC servers, it was Podesta’s fault for being stupid enough to fall for one of the most obvious scams on the internet), and we have not seen any vote, popular or electoral, be affected by this meddling.
The outcome of the election was not affected by this case, as even Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein has said TWICE now.
But Trump has absolutely no reason to back the same intelligence agencies that have worked and conspired to keep him out of office since his nomination, perhaps even longer. He has no reason to support traitors in the Deep State who literally make up dossiers of urinating hookers to destroy him.
In my mind, the only thing he did wrong was saying he trusts Putin more than U.S. Intelligence. While the Intelligence community is not to be trusted, Putin is a dictatorial gangster who has literally killed his opposition. He runs sham elections and strongly intends to take back the now-sovereign nations who were once part of the Soviet Union.
Putin would love nothing more than to see a destabilized America. The Deep State and the Left are in the same boat. The difference is that Putin goes as far as to kill and imprison his opposition on the regular. I’m not defending the Deep State by any means, but I would be naïve to say that Putin is any better.
That being said, I understand why Trump said what he said. Trump is a negotiator. A deal-maker. You don’t make mutually-beneficial deals by antagonizing the other party. Trump was not going to publicly berate and try to embarrass Putin by calling out meddling that had nothing to do with the Kremlin, as far as we know, and that ultimately did nothing to change the outcome of the election.
Trump is a man who tends to treat people the way he wants to be treated. Unless you publicly attack and berate him, Trump can be your absolute best and most loyal friend. Putin, so far, has treated Trump far, FAR better than people within OUR OWN GOVERNMENT have.
As for the people that attack Trump for this, and I mean people who call themselves conservatives, I cannot honestly understand their rhetoric here. Take, for example, Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro. Even Ben has called this meeting “disgraceful”.
What he calls disgraceful was Trump calling out U.S. Intelligence’s hand in the deterioration of U.S.-Russia relations and saying he supported Putin’s claim that he did not meddle in the elections, saying: “I have confidence in both parties.”
Ben Shapiro responded by saying: “Both parties. One party being a murderous dictator, and the other the intelligence community that works for him.”
He is only half right in this instance. Yes, Putin is a murderous dictator, as I have said earlier, but the intelligence community does not work for Trump. It’s SUPPOSED to work for him, but it doesn’t. If it did, it would not be working 24/7 to try to undermine and destroy him. And let’s not forget that it’s not just his own intelligence community that he’s talking about here.
Do you know what Trump’s intelligence community is? Obama’s intelligence community. The same one that tried to keep Trump from becoming President. Again, why would he support a treasonous community like that?
But do you really want to know what is interesting about all of this. Aside from people like Ben Shapiro and other conservatives, it seems that the Democrat and Republican Parties, as well as the media seem to care more about what Trump did or did not say instead of what PETER STRZOK, LISA PAGE, AND THE FBI TRIED TO DO IN THE ELECTIONS!
People like Paul Ryan, Jeff Flake, John McCain, and other establishment RINOs are more outraged at this subjectively “bad” meeting than they were at Peter Strzok’s narcissistic cockiness in his House hearing. The guy threatened to “stop Trump”, refused to turn over crucial evidence for HIS OWN HEARING, worked in the Clinton email case and the Mueller investigation. But what did we hear from the GOP Establishment? Crickets.
And now they say Trump was the disgraceful one? Thanks for reminding me how strongly I heavily dislike these people.
Then again, it’s not really surprising. What was surprising was conservatives turning on Trump for this. No, I don’t like Putin either and no, I don’t consider him an ally to the U.S., but the U.S. Intelligence community has done EVERYTHING to make me dislike and distrust them. And Trump must think the same.
Supporting the Intelligence community over another country does not make you a patriot if that intelligence community is as rotten and corrupt as it is. Heck, supporting the government altogether, regardless of who is in power, does not make you a patriot. Supporting your country does. Supporting your troops does. Supporting your fellow Americans does.
This attack against Trump, at least from fellow conservatives, is simply asinine. Trump did what he thought was the best thing to do. Now, he has also backtracked on some things, particularly in regards to the intelligence agencies saying he has "full faith and support" in them and accepts their conclusions on Russian meddling in the election.
However, the point remains that no one can honestly blame him for being distrustful of the intelligence communities. Like I said, trusting Putin over them is questionable, but the intelligence community has lost many people's trust in the past few years. You can't trust either.
And let's not forget that the biggest part of all this comes from the DNC servers, which we do not know if Russians actually hacked them since the Democrat Party refused to turn the servers over to the FBI and the FBI was just fine with it.
But with what Trump did, all that would really come of this is people being ticked off at him, as we've seen. The Left is always ticked off at him, so who cares about that? But even the conservatives who are ticked off at him will eventually let go of that anger because they are not emotionally-disturbed liberal crybabies.
They know Trump has been a fantastic President so far and won’t push for impeachment if he ticks them off on occasion. But as for the Deep State and the media, they will always want to impeach Trump. The important thing to consider is that Republicans have to at least have some quasi-legitimate reason for it, which they so far do not have, even with today's backtracking of Trump's words.
Like I said, we have not seen evidence suggesting a single vote was affected in the election and that's all the meddling we have actually seen. Otherwise, the DNC server hack is merely speculation from the Left, as is collusion and everything else.
Overall, while his meeting with Putin was not something that I could say is groundbreaking or helps our relations with Russia all too much, I will say that it was not the apocalyptic and treasonous meeting people might say it is. Actually, I would say it was quite the opposite. I think it was a pretty good meeting. What with Putin and Trump both mocking the collusion narrative and Trump pointing back at the DNC’s servers, I would say it was not a bad meeting at all.
But even if the meeting was just fine, I would not be willing to throw Trump under the bus for it. And I do not think he has a darn thing to apologize for, even if he is backtracking on certain things.
The overall point is that the Intelligence community is not to be trusted in certain matters (not necessarily for absolutely everything). I don't blame Trump for wanting to backtrack on his trust of them. He should try to refocus the attention on the DNC server.. But the fact remains that the Intelligence community is rotten and corrupt and only marginally better than Putin when it comes to trustworthiness.

On Thursday, April 26, 2018, the Senate Judiciary Committee voted to approve a bipartisan bill aimed at protecting special counsel Robert Mueller from being fired by President Trump. But allow me to tell you why this is nothing more than a PR stunt and would actually be bad for the Left in the long run.
Now, it’s pretty obvious to tell why this is nothing more than a PR stunt. President Trump has not made any indication that he is even thinking, let alone planning, on firing Mueller. He himself has even said that if he was planning on firing Mueller, he would’ve done so last year. The biggest reason the Left is aiming to do this is simply to create a fictitious “victory” over Trump, and gloat over the fact that he would not be able to fire Mueller. But there are some problems with that.
First, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said he would not bring the bill on to the Senate floor, even if it were to be approved by the committee. Now, I don’t trust a darn thing this snake says. Frankly, I would expect him to either flip on this or act as though he’s caving and allow the full Senate to vote on the bill.
Second, even if the bill passes in the Senate, it still has to go through the House. The bill could be stopped right in its tracks by Republicans in the House of Representatives, but I think there are still too many Establishment Republicans even there to allow that. Regardless, there is still SOME chance it could be stopped there, however slim that chance may be.
Lastly, even if it were to pass both chambers of Congress, why would Trump ever sign it? He could easily veto the bill and send it back to Congress, where enough of a majority would have to be there to override his veto, which means getting a two-thirds vote in both chambers of Congress. I can hardly see that happening, particularly just a few months away from the midterms.
Trust me, as much as Establishment Republicans hate Trump, they still want to keep their jobs.
Now, if this whole thing is simply a self-sabotaging act on the part of the GOP to give Congress to the Democrats and ensure Trump’s impeachment, I don’t think this would work quite the way they would hope. As traitorous and as useless as they’ve been for most things (I’ll give them credit for the tax cuts), while they have not given anyone much incentive to vote Republican, the Democrats have given enough incentive for people to vote Republican.
Democrats were against the tax cuts that are healing the nation’s families. They are against protecting American citizens and are prioritizing illegals over us. They constantly show their true colors as Marxists who punish those who diverge from their line of thought. If Kanye had attacked Trump, do you think the Left would be attacking him? If Kyle Kashuv were part of the anti-gun club in Parkland, would one of his teachers have called him Hitler?
Time and time again, these people have shown their true colors as hateful and disgusting people who want to raise your taxes, keep African Americans and Hispanics unemployed (because a minority that doesn’t need the government should not be a possibility, in their minds), protect illegal killers and rapists while making you pay for it with the higher taxes they will bring back.
What reason does anyone really have to vote Democrat? They are not even hiding who they are anymore!
As scummy as the Republican Party has been so far, I’d much prefer their useless behinds over blood-thirsty, actually insane and enraged Leftists who will impeach Trump on the simple basis that they think he should’ve lost. No actual crime committed is necessary for them. The simple fact that Trump beat Hillary is enough for Democrats to look to impeach him. Why would Trump supporters allow them the opportunity to overturn everything good that’s been happening over these last 2 years?
I shall leave it at that, since that is a rhetorical question and there is another matter I wish to attend to regarding this vote to protect Mueller.
I said in the title that this is the last thing the Left wants in the long run. Sure, this is a good PR stunt, but that’s all it will give them: immediate gratification. On a practical level, they don’t want to keep Trump from firing Mueller.
Do you have any idea the firestorm that would occur if Trump fires Mueller? That would give the REPUBLICANS in Congress enough ammo to take him out! All they need is even the slightest evidence or “reasonable” suspicion of obstruction of justice, which the firing of Mueller would provide.
Trust me, many GOPers want Trump out too, but they will need something substantial. The only silver-lining of Republicans always “taking the high ground” is that they will not get rid of Trump for the same reasons the Democrats want him out. If they were to take him out only because they wanted him out, that would mark the definitive end of the Republican Party.
Now, you may be thinking: “So what? What is stopping the Republicans from destroying the GOP and simply switching to the Democrat Party and make this country a one-party system?” The simple fact that another Party will eventually rise up and contest the Democrat Party far more heavily than the current GOP.
This new Party would not have the same leadership as the current GOP. It would be led by actual Trump supporters and conservatives. And there goes the best chance the Establishment has at keeping control of the country. Because that Party would be INSANELY popular and would likely win many, MANY elections in the future, thus chipping away at the power the Establishment holds in Washington little by little. Perhaps not immediately, but certainly eventually. And such a strong opposition to the Establishment cannot be allowed to flourish, so they must keep the GOP afloat, at least for the time being.
So the Republicans will absolutely need a SUBSTANTIAL reason to impeach Trump. The firing of Robert Mueller could very well provide that substantial reason and simply accuse Trump of obstruction of justice. It wouldn’t be obstruction, but that’s irrelevant to these overlords. If they can even make it slightly seem like obstruction, that’s enough to keep some NeverTrumpers on their side. And it would be enough to at least keep their Party afloat, if severely weakened. Huge, wealthy donors like the Koch brothers would ensure the GOP’s survival, even if the base has jumped ship.
All things considered, with the fact that the investigation has turned up absolutely nothing on collusion, pressuring Trump into firing Mueller is their best shot at impeaching him. This investigation, on its own, will not lead to Trump’s impeachment. Unfortunately, it will hurt people like Michael Cohen, who’s only crime is being Trump’s lawyer, but it will not result in the impeachment of Donald Trump directly.
Now, if the Democrats were to get a super-majority, then the investigation could be the basis for their impeachment (at least officially), but the investigation itself will not get Trump impeached.
And that’s why I shake my head at the Left’s efforts here. Why would they go for something like this if it could backfire so easily against them in a practical sense? It would get their base to be happy for all of 5 minutes and would serve as a nice distraction from the seemingly-enlightened Kanye West and Chance the Rapper. But in their effort to impeach Trump, this would not help them if passed.
Their goal is to get a super-majority anyway. Why keep the Republicans from having an even slightly legitimate-looking reason to side with them prior to the midterms? If they can get Trump to fire Mueller and get the GOP to side with them in their impeachment efforts, that would at least somewhat preserve the fictitious image that there is bipartisanship and a rule of law in Washington. Such an image, people like you and me can see through. But there are plenty of people who still believe the law applies equally to everyone.
If that were actually the case, Bill and Hillary would’ve long been indicted and sent to jail, Comey would have been indicted, and Obama wouldn’t have even fully served his FIRST term, let alone have a second one.
Now, with all of that said, I have my doubts that this will even pass, let alone be signed into law. If their goal is to get Trump to veto it and accuse him of obstruction, big whoop. They’ve been trying this for A YEAR AND A HALF! Vetoing that bill would not be enough for Republicans to impeach him without utterly destroying the GOP, and thus, debilitating the Establishment in the future.
But let’s allow things to play out here. The Left may get their little emotional “victory”, but this will not amount to anything beneficial to them in terms of actually getting rid of Trump. Meanwhile, I’m still planning on going out to vote this November, all for Republican candidates regardless of whether they are Establishment or not.
My ultimate goal is to simply help Trump remain in office. Hopefully, you share a similar goal with me.

Despite the fact that Mueller has overstepped his own authority and stepped outside the very boundaries of the law on multiple occasions during his investigation on Donald Trump and Russia, President Donald Trump has said that he has no plans to fire Mueller from the Special Counsel investigation.
And that’s a very good choice.
Even though it’s as clear as water that Robert Mueller and his Special Counsel is highly corrupt, no one on the Left will admit that. If Trump were to fire Mueller, it would give the Left ammunition to begin impeachment proceedings under the bogus claim that Trump is “obstructing justice”.
I’ve said this multiple times, but I’ll say it again: the Left doesn’t care about the facts. The fact is that Mueller has looked into Donald Trump’s past business dealings even though it makes no logical sense in an investigation into an election. He’s illegally, or at least improperly, procured tens of thousands of e-mails belonging to Trump Transition Team staffers and officials.
Mueller has been looking everywhere he could to find any sort of trace of collusion, but he’s found nothing. In 2017, we’ve found more evidence of Clinton-Russia collusion, Obama-Russia collusion, Clinton-Obama DOJ collusion and not a single negative mention of these things from the Left.
We’ve written multiple articles pointing towards the real collusion stories and government corruption stories, but Trump is the one under investigation? He’s the one treated as a criminal? EVERYONE ON THE LEFT HAS MORE OF A CRIMINAL RECORD THAN HE DOES AT THIS POINT!
But despite all of that, Trump won’t fire Mueller. And he certainly shouldn’t. Even though he, as head of the Executive Branch, has the power to hire and fire anyone working within that branch of the government, firing Mueller wouldn’t result in anything good.
Mueller is not the only person investigating Trump and Russian collusion. The FBI and the MSM are also on the case. Firing Mueller would serve no good purpose for Trump, and he knows this.
Firing Mueller would only serve to hurt Trump. I’ve already seen plenty of Leftist wackos on social media calling for people to “take to the streets” if Mueller is fired. They’re very much calling for riots to occur if Trump fires Mueller. And while that won’t really hurt Trump, it will drive Democrats in Congress to look to begin impeachment proceedings.
Granted, there are some like Sen. Al Green (D-TX) who have been calling for his impeachment pretty much since before he took office and have actually looked to begin impeachment proceedings in the past, but they haven’t amounted to anything.
Even House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said that they shouldn’t go down the path of impeachment without the facts (Although if they win Congress in 2018, I doubt facts will matter all that much in their efforts.)
And the fact that Trump has the right to fire Mueller for just about any reason doesn’t matter to the Left either. Democrats will see it as an effort to obstruct justice and will look to impeach him.
So that’s at least one reason Trump won’t fire Mueller. But here’s another: he doesn’t have to. Trump doesn’t have to fire Mueller at all. Why? Mueller’s Special Counsel is destroying their own reputation and integrity (of which they had little anyway).
It’s been well over a year since the Russian collusion story began and it’s almost been an entire year since Mueller was appointed head of the Special Counsel to investigate Trump and Russia. In that whole year, the evidence against Clinton and Obama has risen while evidence against Trump has remained a constant zero.
The Special Counsel hasn’t found anything of value on Trump. And I don’t believe these people are unintelligent in the least. I believe they have the intelligence to find the things they need to make a case. But they can’t find things that aren’t there.
They’ve searched high and low for any sign of collusion and not one thing has come up. They have detained Paul Manafort, but what was supposed to be the “beginning of the end for Trump” resulted in absolutely nothing since he was released not long after.
Trump won’t fire Mueller because he doesn’t have to. The longer Mueller keeps his position, the worse it will get for them. They’re self-destructing. And while the Left keeps claiming that Trump is undermining Mueller and claiming that Trump is destroying Mueller’s reputation and efforts, reality couldn’t be further from the truth.
The truth is that Mueller is doing all of that himself. Trump is merely pointing it out and commenting on it. And as long as Trump doesn’t fire Mueller, the Left can’t claim he’s obstructing justice. Even though he wouldn’t be obstructing justice and simply exercising his right as head of the Executive Branch, he doesn’t want to give the Left any more ammo than they already have… of which they have pathetically little amounts.
And Trump is not the idiot the Left claims he is. He’s actually proven to be far more intelligent and cunning than even them. If he were an idiot, he wouldn’t have been able to beat Hillary. If he were an idiot, the economy wouldn’t be improving nearly as well or as fast as it is. If he were an idiot, he wouldn’t get the respect of foreign leaders when he travels to other countries.
If he were an idiot, the Left wouldn’t be as hell-bent on destroying him as they have been over this past year. If he were an idiot, they wouldn’t take him as the threat he is to them.
Trump knows that firing Mueller would only get the Left shouting “obstruction” and “collusion” and other b.s.
And even though his supporters would back him up no matter what, there’s no point in beating a dead horse.
Mueller and his special counsel will take care of themselves.

The biggest piece of news this week so far is the indictment of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort. While his indictment shouldn’t come as a surprise given that Mueller leaked that they would be filing charges on someone the previous Friday (which is illegal, by the way), and given that Manafort’s home was raided months prior by the FBI, something like this shouldn’t really be a big shocker.
But do you want to know what’s funny about this entire ordeal? IT HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ELECTION! Do you want to know what the charges are? Conspiracy against the United States, even though there’s not even a single mention of Russian collusion. It talks about Manafort and Gates lying to the FBI about having worked with the Ukranian government, which leads to the following charges: Conspiracy to launder money and Failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts for calendar years 2011-2014.
That’s it. There’s nothing about Russian collusion. Manafort and Gates aren’t even being CHARGED for it, but the Left still wants to pretend that’s what it’s about because Mueller was the one who pulled the trigger on this.
As a reminder, Mueller is investigating Trump, Russia and the 2016 Presidential election. The only reason Manafort and Gates are being indicted with this is because of their ties to Trump. Manafort was his former campaign chairman before Kelly Ann Conway and Gates was a “deputy campaign manager”, according to Fox News.
Despite of what they may or may not have done, there’s no doubt that the biggest reason they were indicted is because of their ties to Trump. And, to the MSM, this will seem as an effort to prove Russian collusion and would ultimately lead to the impeachment of Trump… but they are very wrong about that.
The official charges written by Mueller’s special counsel don’t even mention Russia. The charges aren’t for Russian collusion. And the only time the number “2016” is used is as a timeline for the money laundering charges they have on Manafort and Gates. There’s nothing on the election because there’s no evidence of collusion.
But Mueller saw some people calling for his resignation coming from the Left and he decided to pull the trigger on something. Anything to make himself look good, at least for now, in the eyes of the Left. Even though this has nothing to do with Trump, the Left and the MSM will see it as a step towards impeaching him, even though this won’t lead to anything of the sort.
But the MSM will take anything they can get. They’ve successfully convinced their viewers and readers that this indictment is about Russian collusion. But upon doing even a little bit of research, I found that this has nothing to do about the election. Unfortunately, many people won’t do research. They will be convinced this is about collusion, even though it’s clearly not.
I’ve seen trolls on pro-Trump pages saying things like: “Are you Trump supporters starting to s**t in your pants?” Even though this has nothing to do with Trump, Russia or the election, these people are convinced this will lead to the impeachment of Trump. This won’t even come close to that.
Do you want to know why Manafort’s indictment will backfire on the Left? Because this will be an example of them hyping something up, creating fake news, and disappointing their base. This won’t lead to impeachment as they hope. This will hardly even be a big deal by the end of next week. This doesn’t bring them one step closer to impeaching Trump because it has nothing to do with him, Russia or the election.
But they’ve reached this point of desperation. With Harvey Weinstein being exposed as a serial rapist, the Uranium One deal being a big talking point last week since it has ties to the Clintons and Obama, they needed ANYTHING to be happy about. Like a fan of a terrible sports team, they were hoping to have SOMETHING to cheer about while they get blown out.
They will take this very miniscule victory and make it a far bigger deal than it really is. They will hype this up as the beginning of the end for Trump and then they will fail to deliver on that promise. Just like they failed to stop Trump from becoming the Republican nominee, just like they failed to stop Trump from becoming President, they will also fail at impeaching Trump.
They’ve found no evidence of collusion for months now and they never will find any evidence of collusion. This doesn’t get them any closer to finding evidence of collusion. This doesn’t get them any closer to their dream of impeaching Trump. This will ultimately lead to a massive letdown for the Leftist base. It’s just another example of fake news.
They will celebrate for a very short time until they realize this won’t lead to anything of substance for them. Sure, Manafort and Gates are being targeted and prosecuted, but this won’t lead to anything more than that because of the charges set before them.
No matter what happens with Manafort or Gates, Trump won’t be affected in the least. His presidency isn’t at stake. The Left isn’t any closer to finding collusion. They’re not even closer to impeaching Trump. This certainly won’t even be the vaunted “First Step” the Left hopes it will be.
However, this could backfire even more for the Left than they realize. The indictment of Manafort and Gates could be the trigger for Trump to order Sessions to go after the Clintons and Obama for their involvement in the Uranium One deal. Or Hillary’s e-mail scandal. Or Obama’s fast and furious scandal. Or Benghazi. And/or every illegal thing the Democrats have done over this century.
Of course, I don’t know if Trump will do that. I don’t know if he will order Sessions to do it. But if there ever was a time or even one more reason to do it (other than delivering justice) this would be it. If anything, this might lead to the eventual indictment of the Clintons and/or Barack Obama.
So the Left can pretend this is a huge victory for them. Reality will hit them harder than a ton of bricks.
It’s coming too. According to Fox News: “Tony Podesta, the brother of Hillary Clinton’s former campaign chairman, John Podesta, has resigned from his lobbying firm amid reports he is under scrutiny from Special Counsel Robert Mueller.” This means that the Special Counsel is investigating him too.
I may have been too generous when I said that this would hardly be a big deal by the end of next week. We’ll see if this is even somewhat relevant by the end of THIS week.

The latest news coming from Robert Mueller’s special counsel into the Russia investigation is that said counsel will now be looking into all former transactions Trump and his affiliates had with any Russian person even over a decade before the 2016 election. Basically, anyone that is Russian and has spoken with Trump or one of his friends is now under investigation. And the best part is the fact that they’re not even ALLOWED to do that. Trump told the NY Times that “any digging into matters beyond Russia would be out of bounds.”, according to Bloomberg.
So now, the special counsel feels compelled to spy on people that have absolutely nothing to do with the election just because they’re Russian and have spoken with Trump. (Discrimination, anyone?) The counsel will look into any Russian purchases of apartments in Trump buildings, Trump’s involvement in a SoHo (a neighborhood in Lower Manhattan) development with Russian associates, the 2013 Miss Universe pageant in Moscow, and Trump’s sale of a Florida mansion to a Russian oligarch in 2008.
I won’t discuss the mere fact that it’s ridiculous that the counsel will now be spying on anyone that is from Russia and is associated with a Trump. I’ll simply say that the counsel is clearly overstepping its boundaries in this investigation and something should be done about that.
What I will discuss, however, is the title question of this article: Should We Be Worried About The Mueller Special Counsel? Short answer: no.
The special counsel will do no better job than the FBI and MSM have in the last 6 months since Trump was officially made president and roughly 8 months since the election. Let’s not forget that the only reason this is even a topic is because the Left couldn’t accept the fact that they lost, so there must have been some cheating involved. But because that’s the basis of this whole narrative, any and all investigations will lead to nothing substantial.
Don’t get me wrong. Knowing what I know about the Left, they are bound to attempt to fool people with false evidence eventually. They’ve already fooled their own base by writing multiple articles and doing multiple interviews saying that they are close to uncovering the truth on the matter, only for them to write or say in the end that there is no new information relating to the matter.
Because of the very nature of the cause of the investigation (deception), nothing will ever be found about it. And Trump knows it. That’s why he’s letting Mueller do this investigation. Because there is nothing wrong that he did. THE LEFT THEMSELVES KNOW THIS! Remember the CNN scandal a few weeks ago? No, not the one about Trump beating up the CNN logo in a gif and CNN hunting down the kid who made that and silenced him. I’m talking about the video Project Veritas made about a person working at CNN saying of the investigation: “It’s mostly bulls**t.”
The people within the MSM know very well that the Russia narrative is just that, A NARRATIVE! There’s no truth to it. There’s no evidence to it. And there never will be any evidence or truth to it. But they want YOU to believe it. That’s the goal.
In respect to the counsel itself, it will find nothing, just as the FBI and MSM have also found nothing. Why? BECAUSE THERE’S NOTHING TO BE FOUND!
I just wonder for how long they can keep up this charade without presenting any evidence until even their own base stops believing their b.s. Am I giving the Leftist base too much credit in believing they will eventually stop believing the MSM? Maybe. But maybe there are at least SOME people in their base that will eventually wise up and think: “it’s been 3 years since this investigation started (I believe they will drive this narrative until Trump is out of the White House) and not a single piece of actual evidence has surfaced. Maybe there really was no collusion.” Again, maybe I’m giving too much credit to the liberal base. But there are bound to be a few people smart enough to stop believing the MSM, even if that number is small.
I recall having met a former Obama supporter at the ballot boxes a couple of weeks before Election Day, saying that she was planning on voting for Trump. I can’t recall exactly what reason she gave, but she must’ve figured something out for her to decide against voting for Hillary. So I can imagine there might be people that will figure out the MSM is lying to them and that there’s nothing to this story. I can only pray that that happens.
As for us, we shouldn’t worry about the special counsel, or any other investigation that arises to investigate this matter. We know the truth of what happened on election night. We know Trump won fair and square. And we know the Left is only driving this narrative to make it look as though the only way they could lose to Trump was through Trump cheating.
I just hope that there will eventually be people on the Left’s base that wise up and figure out what their leaders and media are doing. I don’t expect them to do a 180 and become super conservative, but I do hope at least some of them will figure out that this Russia narrative is nothing but b.s.
