At first glance, that seems like a very obvious statement to make. Of course the Left doesn’t like it when you call them out. I don’t think there are many people who like it when they are called out on something, be it hypocrisy, idiocy, etc. But why am I particularly talking about this now? Because of a relatively new internet meme (picture above) that has ticked off the Left so much that you can’t even share it on Twitter, lest you get banned for doing it. What is this meme? It’s called the “NPC” meme. In the video game world, an NPC is Artificial Intelligence. It’s the non-playable characters that you see around you, whether they give you missions, join you in them, or serve to keep you from achieving your goal. An NPC is programmed by a game’s developer to act in particular ways and to react in particular ways to actions perpetrated either by other NPCs or, usually, by the player. Given this explanation as to what an NPC is and does, I think we can all make the connection to the Left. Leftists, particularly on social media, act like NPCs. They utter lines of dialogue that have been implanted there by the media, or academia, or Democrats, etc. When Elizabeth Warren says she’s Native American, these NPCs automatically believe her. When Dr. Ford said Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her, the NPCs automatically believe her because they are programmed to believe the Leftist over the right-winger. Despite any evidence, and sometimes despite evidence to the contrary, NPCs will continue to believe whatever the Left wants them to believe. No evidence Trump colluded with Russia? Trump colluded anyway. No evidence Kavanaugh did anything remotely to what the accusers (who have now basically fallen out of the daily news-cycle) are claiming? Kavanaugh is a serial rapist anyway. There is no actual evidence to suggest there is climate change, or at least man-made climate change? We are all gonna fry like eggs. Beyond absorbing whatever they can get from the Mainstream Media and other Leftist sources, they try to also dish it back out to people, repeating Marxist lines of dialogue such as “capitalism kills people” and “socialism has been proven to work” when there is a myriad of evidence to suggest the exact opposite. So because this meme so accurately portrays these Leftists, they act in a very NPC way and try to push back against it. Particularly, a Left-wing gaming blog called “Kotaku” published an article titled: “How The ‘NPC’ Meme Tries To Dehumanize ‘SJWs’”. If there ever was a more NPC title to push back against the meme, I don’t know it. They describe the meme as “anti-progressive” and “dehumanizing” to Leftists, saying that “NPCs have no agency; NPCs don’t think for themselves; NPCs don’t perceive, process, or understand; NPCs arrive at the same worldview not because it’s authentic to their experiences, but automatically. As a descriptor, it suggests that those whom it applies aren’t even human, but are rather, functionally, robots, or clusters of computer code…” Funny, I don’t remember anyone on the Left saying that it’s dehumanizing to call conservatives on Twitter “Russian bots”. They can call us “Russian bots” all they want, but that’s completely fine, isn’t it? If it’s dehumanizing to call Leftists “NPCs”, then it’s dehumanizing to call conservatives “Russian bots”. The difference here is that we (kind of) are joking when we call Leftists “NPCs”. We make fun of their AI-like behavior in relying squarely on information from untrustworthy sources. But whenever they call us “Russian bots”, they (for the most part, at least) don’t appear to be joking. It’s an actual excuse the Left uses to explain the popularity of Trump and/or other conservatives. I won’t go as far as to say that it’s dehumanizing conservatives (though an argument can be made to suggest it, particularly with the Left’s mob rule as of late. And that’s not to say that the Left doesn’t dehumanize conservatives at all), but it is highly hypocritical for Leftist to whine about this meme, which is intended as a joke by definition, all-the-while chucking up Trump’s popularity to supposed Russian bots. As far as this NPC meme goes, it’s mostly about being funny while exposing a bit of an unquestionable truth. People on the Left, particularly those who most openly spew communist propaganda nonsense, act very much like this meme depicts them. They are programmed to act in a certain way and to respond to others in a certain way. Every lie they spew such as “Jesus was a socialist”, “there was a switch at some point that made Republicans racist and Democrats not racist” (which is honestly the most laughable lie of all), and “Trump hates immigrants” is part and parcel of their core programming. They don’t have to present evidence of it. They just have to, at most, point to an MSM source, or a Leftist source altogether to “prove” them right. And the funny thing is that some top Democrats can be considered NPCs too. After the Parkland shooting back in February of 2018, Bernie Sanders shared data from a Leftist source that said there had been 18 school shootings including Parkland. The data included simple firing of weapons within what can be considered school grounds, even if the shooting didn’t harm or kill anyone. And because Bernie Sanders is such a popular figure in the Left, other people started to propagate that same lie, not bothering to check the facts that even the Leftist source shares. Overall, I just find it funny, though not surprising, that Leftists are getting so triggered by this meme that the overlords at Twitter have decided to ban the meme altogether. The meme pretty accurately describes what a Leftist today is: someone who is programmed to act in a certain way and offer certain responses. Granted, that’s been the behavior of the Left for a while now, but the fact that an internet meme so perfectly describes them in this way is incredibly funny to me both in what the meme itself does and what the Left’s response to the meme has been. As it turns out, NPCs don’t like it when you call them “NPCs”. I’ll probably be adding “NPC” to my daily vernacular from now on. It’s always good to have more ammo. Are you able to read this article? Have you been asked by your Internet service provider to pay an extra charge to be able to read the content of this article? OF COURSE YOU CAN READ THIS AND OF COURSE YOU WEREN’T ASKED TO PAY MORE FOR IT! The biggest piece of news over this past week has been the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) ruling to repeal Net Neutrality. This decision has been made to seem as though the literal end of the Internet and the world is now at hand. Multiple low-information people make claims that without Net Neutrality, the Internet will no longer be free and open, that certain content will now cost more because of corporate greed and that certain content will be inaccessible. People like Daily Show host Trevor Noah, who set up somewhat of a skit by saying that “there’s no evidence that this is going to break the Internet… so if you’re watching this show right now, online right now, I just want to remind you, that…” before simulating a disrupted stream. Or Late Night host Seth Meyers saying: “If you’re not sure what [the ruling] means, better Google it while you still can.” And more specifically, Jimmy Kimmel saying: “Thank you President Trump. Thanks to you and this jackhole (referring to FCC Chairman Ajit Pai) you appointed to run the FCC, big corporations are about to take full control of the internet, so Merry Christmas everybody.” I truly fail to understand how these people’s minds work. They really think the only way for the internet to be open and free is for the government to control it. How insane is that?! Let me tell you: the internet is not going to break. The internet was perfectly fine before 2015, when Net Neutrality was first put in place. It didn’t need to get regulated, but the government and the Left wanted it regulated. They wanted to have control over the internet. And for whatever insane reason, people wanted the government in charge of the internet as well. I’ve seen plenty of people on Twitter saying that Net Neutrality was necessary to avoid corporate greed. That it was necessary to “protect the people”. That Net Neutrality was going to force companies to not overcharge people for internet service. And that’s a complete lie. The government forcing companies what to charge kills competition. It kills capitalism. And if the government is in charge of the internet, they get to choose what to charge people and what content is available. The very thing these low-information people fear is what was going to happen if Net Neutrality WASN’T repealed. Net Neutrality was not meant to protect people. It was meant to control the internet and heavily regulate it as well as its providers. It was meant to increase the size of the government. It was meant to give control of the content to the government. In other words, it was meant to give the government the power to censor the things they didn’t like. No, it wasn’t going to be immediate. We’ve lived with Net Neutrality for 2, almost 3 years, and I doubt we’ve seen the government deny any website from existing because it had content they didn’t like. But things like these are never instantaneous. These things often times are about a progression of rules. Starting out simple and then placing more and more rules and regulations. Like FCC Chairman Ajit Pai said in his statement regarding the ruling: “The free and open internet prior to 2015 is the one we are going to have going forward.” It’s honestly ridiculous for people to believe Net Neutrality is necessary to keep a free and open internet. Net Neutrality does the exact opposite of it and it’s intended to do the exact opposite of it. There’s nothing free and open about a heavily-regulated internet. That’d be like saying North Korea’s economy is a free market economy because the government controls it. It’s honestly that ridiculous. One of the bigger claims the Left makes is that without Net Neutrality, wealthier people are able to afford better service while poorer people won’t get very good service. What they fail to realize is that that’s how every market works. If you can afford something better, you tend to get it. If you want to save money at the cost of better service, you can do that as well. That’s not a bad thing. But perhaps the biggest claim the Left makes about it is that, as you heard from Kimmel, big corporations will have full control of the internet. Here's the thing: that's not at all the case. There's not a single case in the history of the internet of a big corporation having full control of the internet in a country. Without Net Neutrality, smaller ISPs have a better chance to compete than with it. Do you think that in a capitalist and free market system corporations are going to charge people insane prices for their product and service? Do you not understand how capitalism works? IT’S ABOUT COMPETITION! If an Internet service provider (ISP) like, say, Comcast, charges an unreasonable amount of money for internet in a certain area, other companies such as AT&T or Verizon can come in to that area and offer better deals. Let’s take Boynton Beach, FL as an example. In Boynton Beach, according to highspeedinternet.com, there are three different ISPs: AT&T, Comcast Xfinity, and HughesNet. AT&T offers internet speeds of up to 1000 Megabits per second (Mbps). That’s pretty great. But to get that incredible internet bandwidth, you have to live in certain areas where they provide it and it will, of course, cost more than slower speeds. AT&T offers different bundles with different download speeds at different costs. For example, you can get the 75 Mbps internet plan starting at $60/mo. If you can’t afford that, you can choose a plan that will give you 50 Mbps starting at $40/mo. These aren’t bad in the least, either. According to an article by Yahoo published 5 years ago, internet speeds of 10-15 Mbps were considered to be “the new normal”. Again, this was 5 years ago. You can only imagine how much faster internet speeds have gotten since then. Now, let’s look at Xfinity. One of their bundles gives you 25 Mbps starting at $40/mo. Comparing this plan to AT&T’s, you can see it’s only half as fast for the same price. (I feel I’m obligated to say that I’m not sponsored by AT&T or any other internet service provider). So that plan isn’t as good as AT&T’s. However, that’s not the only plan they offer. If it was, they wouldn’t be very successful. They also offer another plan that gives you 100 Mbps for $50/mo. That is quite the improvement from the previous plan and is also more competitive than AT&T’s. So for AT&T to compete with that price and that speed, they have to offer even better deals. This is what competition looks like. The government doesn’t need to come in and force companies to charge fair amounts of money. The market already does that. Now, that’s the “big corporations” the Left deems evil. Let’s look at that last ISP in Boynton Beach: HughesNet. They offer different deals, but those deals don’t offer better internet speeds. Rather, they offer more Gigabytes of data. For example, their cheapest plan is 10 GB of data, 25 Mbps starting at $50/mo. The difference between that plan and competitors’ plans is that plan is good for 24 months, while AT&T’s and Xfinity’s are for 12 months. HughesNet can’t quite compete as strongly against the big ISPs, so they have to look for other ways to stay competitive. These three compete in Boynton Beach. While the small ISP can’t quite compete with the other two, that doesn’t mean everything is lost for them. Yes, the big corporations essentially monopolized the area, but Net Neutrality was making it more difficult for competitors to get into the area. The barriers of entry have been lifted and now more smaller companies such as HughesNet will be able to offer the same service and compete with the big boys. The insane fear low-information people have is that big corporations are very greedy. That these corporations will take people’s money and keep it for themselves and that’s how they get rich. It’s the classic narrative of the rich get richer while the poor get poorer, but reality couldn’t be further from the truth. Yes, the owners of these companies certainly are rich, but they didn’t steal or take money from the poor. Frankly, taking money from the poor is not a very realistic way to get rich. They own companies that provide good service for people. They may not be perfect but they’re not the devils the Left makes them out to be. So Net Neutrality wasn’t going to protect the people from these companies. It was going to abuse these companies, kill competition and ultimately increase prices that hurt the people, much in the same way Obamacare premiums only rise and rise. Obamacare was MEANT to do that. Net Neutrality ditto. Proverbs 14:5 “An honest witness does not deceive, but a false witness pours out lies.” After CNN tracked down and forced the creator of a gif portraying Trump beating up the CNN logo, the internet united against them to create multiple memes and compilations of gifs that portray… well… Trump beating CNN. From the classic scene in the Karate Kid to random clips of wrestling matches, internet users spent their time to create mash-ups and compilations that are certain to make the Left (or at least CNN) completely irate. Multiple pro-Trump content creators such as Mike Cernovich, InfoWars, Based Patriot and others spent their time to do the very thing Reddit user “HanA**holeSolo” did times 100. And the best part is that CNN can’t “mafia” their way out of this one. Like I said in the previous article, CNN wrote a story on how they tracked down the Reddit user and forced him to apologize at the risk of having his identity be made public (an insanely dumb move on their part). And the internet took notice of this. The internet, a place where millions of people go to share, read, and watch content largely felt that the aforementioned Reddit user’s rights to freedom of speech had been violated. In retaliation, the internet proceeded to absolutely tear into CNN. And while CNN may be able to bully an individual into silence, they can’t bully the masses into silence. They can’t track down every single person that creates these things, and even if they could, it becomes less threatening to say “we will reveal these millions of people’s identity” as opposed to “we will reveal your single identity”. When it’s a lot of people doing this stuff, CNN doesn’t have the intimidation factor. Every single person that created these gifs and compilations is darn proud of the work they did and have no problem if CNN were to try to bully them. That’s because CNN DOESN’T HAVE ANY POWER OVER THE MASSES! You see, this goes back to the whole Fake News issue. CNN and the MSM in general no longer have a monopoly on people’s thoughts and information. With the internet superhighway being as powerful as it is with as much information as it has, cable news and large news organizations no longer have a “toll booth” of information. That is to say, they no longer are the only people that can give out information to large masses of people. One of the reasons Trump is so popular is because he stays connected with We The People through the use of Twitter. That’s one of the advantages Trump has over Reagan. Reagan’s only means to delivering news to people was through the press and with the hopes that they wouldn’t severely twist his words. But Trump has a direct line with the people. He can call out Fake News for what they are immediately. And Trump isn’t the only source of information out there on the internet. There are multiple conservative organizations and even Facebook, Reddit and Twitter users that have a power that people of previous generations were limited to: the power of true information. They can now find out whether what the MSM says is true or not (mostly not) and whether people in the government like Obama and Hillary are telling the truth or not (again, they mostly lie). And when the MSM is exposed for bullying a person into silence, the internet has the power to utterly destroy the MSM. No one wants their freedom of speech taken away from them. Particularly when the reason for taking it away was simply because of a joke or having a different opinion from the Left. The internet knows this and will fight back against the Left if they have to. But with these compilations, memes and mash-ups, it just goes to show how strong the bond between Trump and his base is. I can’t even begin to count how many different clips I’ve seen of Trump beating up the CNN logo in these mash-ups. A couple of them only last a minute and a half, while another (the InfoWars one) lasted a full 4 minutes. It’s clear that the internet is very creative and very much against what CNN did against the Reddit user they bullied into silence. And so, they used their power of content creation to decimate CNN for their actions by showing multiple gifs of Trump “fighting and destroying” them. And it’s truly a blessing that this whole thing happened. What I mean by that is that CNN’s reputation is likely on the verge of total collapse. Yes, many people stopped trusting them for a while, but this is a whole different thing. What CNN did was a clear violation of a citizen’s first amendment rights, and millions of people didn’t like that. Last month, they were exposed by Project Veritas as b.s.-ing the country with the Russia narrative. And in less than a week into July, an even bigger scandal breaks out about CNN. This might set them on the path to irrelevance and maybe even bankruptcy. If people don’t like CNN, don’t watch it and think they are nothing but bullies, CNN is in massive trouble. And the most ironic part of it all is the fact that that’s a Leftist tactic: destroy the reputation of your opponent and separate them from their base. They’ve been trying this on Trump since the campaign began, but now, CNN might just fall victim to their own tactics. To their own weapons. God knows precisely what He’s doing. He’s using evil’s own weapons against them to defeat them. He knows what CNN’s destiny is. He knows whether this will be the beginning of the end for them or if they will somehow manage to come back from this and own the narrative once again. He will use this time to bring people closer to Him and He will use the internet to achieve that. Remember: God is in control. Nothing is a surprise to Him. He knew what CNN was going to do to that Reddit user and He knew the backlash they would receive from their actions.
