To further prove that science has become something of a religion to the Left, we have Anthony Fauci basically making Messianic proclamations with relation to it during a recent interview with CBS News' "Face The Nation".
It is, of course, no secret that Fauci has lied and deceived the entire world with baseless claims regarding the Chinese coronavirus - lies which have led to millions of deaths (namely from the vaccines he continuously claims are "safe and effective") - and even lied to Congress regarding gain-of-function research in Wuhan.
He is a proven liar and likely sees the writing on the wall: he's screwed. Both Senators Cruz and Paul have repeatedly called for him to step down and be prosecuted for his lies, which Fauci claimed on this interview was just "noise." However, he eventually says something so inherently stupid and unrelated to the topic of the virus and science itself that it makes me wonder if he's panicking.
Before I get to that, however, let me share the line he said which gives off "I am the Senate" vibes: "They're really criticizing science because I represent science. That's dangerous." Later adding: "If you're attacking me, you're really attacking science."
Any scientist who claims to either represent science or essentially BE science is nothing short of a religious zealot making Messianic claims. Plenty of people throughout history have made the claim that they were the actual Messiah, the actual Christ. People like Sabbatai Zevi, a rabbi from Smyrma who lived during the rule of the Ottoman Empire; Dositheos the Samaritan, who tried to convince fellow Samaritans that he was the return of Jesus Christ; Hulon Mitchell Jr., who changed his name to Yahweh ben Yahweh and was a black nationalist and separatist who created the Nation of Yahweh and orchestrated the murder of dozens of people.
And now, we have Anthony Fauci, essentially making the claim that he is science incarnate. Nevermind the fact that science is merely the search for the truth of the universe, exploring how a number of things work. The Left, like I said, has outright deified science, made it into a religion, sought to punish dissenters as heretics, and now, they have their Science Messiah.
It's bullcrap and no one with a brain would either believe or support this self-aggrandizing moron.
But aside from this ridiculous, Messianic-like assertion that he is science itself, Fauci went on to talk about the calls from Cruz and Paul for him to step down and be prosecuted. While earlier he had said it was just "noise," he gave what one could consider to be a panicky statement.
You see, the interviewer said: "Sen. Cruz told the Attorney General you should be prosecuted." To which Fauci replied: "[Laughs] I should be prosecuted? What happened on January 6th, Senator?... That's okay, I'm just gonna do my job. I'm gonna be saving lives, and [Republicans] are gonna be lying."
While the interviewer brought up the prosecution calls from Cruz, he is the one who inexplicably and warrantlessly brought up January 6th. What, does he think Cruz should be prosecuted for January 6th? Even going along with the audacious claim that it was a "terrorist attack", what role did Cruz play in it? He was in the House Chamber, likely planning to object to the certification of the electors so that Biden couldn't steal the election. Exactly which part of that does it sound like he had anything to do with people (including FBI and other Fed agents trying to incite a riot, who were identified and not prosecuted) going into the Capitol building?
Either that, or he believes that because other people committed crimes on January 6th, then that means that HE hasn't committed any crimes himself, which is even more ridiculous.
Whatever the case may be, that appears to be the statement of a man who knows he's losing control and will have to face his own version of a Nuremberg trial.
And these statements, of course, did not go unnoticed by Paul and Cruz.
Senator Rand Paul responded with: "The absolute hubris of someone claiming THEY represent science. It's astounding and alarming that a public health bureaucrat would even think to claim such a thing, especially one who has worked so hard to ignore the science of natural immunity."
Senator Cruz gave a longer response, making his case for why Fauci is an absolute liar and should be prosecuted, bringing up Fauci's testimony before Congress that the NIH was not involved in gain-of-function research and countering that with the NIH itself writing that they funded gain-of-function research, meaning that Fauci lied under oath, a federal crime.
Even an award-winning scientist, Richard H. Ebright, repeatedly called out Fauci for lying, saying he is a "serial liar" and even called him a "tool".
The Left's Religion of Science is, of course, nothing but a farce which borrows the authority of scientific research itself to make unscientific claims and admonish those who point out the truth to them. God will destroy this fake little religion that hates Him. Of this, we are all aware.
"You destroy those who speak lies; the Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man."
It’s been a while since I have talked about a Campus Reform video, but their latest one is quite intriguing.
Campus Reform’s Addison Smith went to Georgetown University in Washington D.C. to ask students their thoughts on higher prices due to inflation affecting Thanksgiving.
He began the video by talking about how “Last year, Americans enjoyed the least expensive Thanksgiving dinner in decades. Just one year later, and on the heels of sky-high inflation, reports warn that this time around could be the most costly Thanksgiving feast in American history.”
One year is all Brandon needed to take us from the cheapest Thanksgiving ever to the most expensive one. I’d be impressed if I weren’t so pissed.
At any rate, throughout the video, Smith asks the students their thoughts on the rising prices, inflation and the economy in general. And while many largely weren’t paying much attention to these things, everyone ultimately agreed not only that inflation is pretty bad right now (particularly after being told that the price for Turkey is up 22% and gas is up 50% since last year), but that the situation was better under President Trump than under Brandon. Even one who didn’t want to admit this to be true couldn’t deny that it was true.
This is particularly bad for Brandon given that college students tend to be Leftists, or at least rather liberal, and typically vote for Democrats. Not ONE of these students could deny that Brandon has made things worse in the months that he has illegitimately been in power. This is rather reflective of the awful poll numbers even Leftist polls show for the child predator.
But the fake news media, as I have said in a previous article, will either minimize the damage of the Bidenflation we are seeing or will outright gaslight you into believing that things are going well. MSNBC’s Joy Reid has somehow managed to do both.
In one of her latest segments, Lying Joy Reid made the claim that inflation was just a “buzzword bandwagon” by Republicans, adding that the GOP wants people “to believe the economy isn’t doing well, that’s terrible. But, in reality, unemployment is at its lowest point since before the pandemic began,” and absurdly claims that that it’s okay that “prices are higher” because “Americans are also spending a record amount of money that was pent up during the pandemic, which economics 101 will tell you drives prices up, aka inflation.”
This idiot is really out here trying to tell us that we have inflation because people are spending more money and that creates inflation. That we have inflation because we have inflation.
What, there is high inflation and Americans are spending a record amount of money? I wonder if those two things are related in any way. Hmm.
But it’s not just that bit of idiocy that made up her moronic segment. After claiming that it’s okay that we have inflation because Americans are spending more money and unemployment is the lowest since the pandemic began (tens of millions lost their jobs, so this is far from an accomplishment. Not to mention millions are not even looking for work anymore because they either adapted to a new/better source of income or are content with dependency on government stimulus, so the real unemployment rate is far higher than these people claim), she then went on to blame AMERICAN CONSUMERS for the lowest consumer confidence in a decade and for believing that we are in a bad economy.
“[T]hat conflict between how much we want to spend and what we can get into our hands quickly is contributing to how pessimistic many Americans feel about the economy. Consumer confidence is its lowest in a decade.”
So it’s people’s fault that they think we have a bad economy, not the fact we have a bad economy. People want to spend their money and are disillusioned by the fact prices are much higher than under Trump, and it’s THEIR fault?
Hilariously, she then goes on to say: “So – so, the economy isn’t bad. It’s just that people are mad because everything is late and things cost a little bit more.”
Yeah, things being late and costing more is a sign of a GREAT economy.
And if that wasn’t enough, she then goes on to claim that the only reason this is happening or that we’re even talking about it is because… get this… Republicans want to get back in power.
Right, because one couldn’t make the same claim that the ONLY reason Leftist hacks like Reid are making all these claims is because they want Democrats to remain in power.
Make no mistake, that really is the only reason they are saying all this. They see how much Brandon is fumbling the bag, how unpopular he and his borderline-prostitute of a VP are, and how screwed the Democrats are for 2022.
So they lie and lie and lie, as they always have, to get the result they want. The economy was doing fantastic throughout Trump’s tenure (so much so that Obama repeatedly tried and failed to take credit for it), and they largely couldn’t attack it until the pandemic began. But any rational person could tell that the economy started doing poorly because of the decisions by governors and local authorities to shut everything down.
Now, Brandon doesn’t get that as an excuse. States have been open/opening back up for months now, even the deep blue ones. There is still insanity surrounding the virus, but the reason this is such a bad economy is because of Brandon’s own disastrous policies and the Democrats wanting to spend trillions upon trillions of dollars.
Odd how last year, under rather similar circumstances regarding the virus, we weren’t seeing such awful inflation rates. So the college students are correct in their assessment that things were better under Trump.
The biggest difference between this year and last year is who is at the helm. And we have a senile child abuser who isn’t even allowed to take any questions from the press apart from pre-approved ones leading this country (illegitimately at that).
One of the students in that Campus Reform video said that she was planning to go to Miami over Thanksgiving. Assuming she’s going to drive there, that is over 1000 miles of travel taking the shortest route. And that’s just on the way there, nevermind on the trip back. That girl is going to be spending a LOT of money on this trip just on gas alone, not to mention the food and other basic travel necessities she has to buy which have also had their prices gone up because of the Brandon administration.
But since Lying Joy Reid is rich, she doesn’t have to worry about inflation at all and has the gall to tell other people that they shouldn’t either.
“Let them eat cake”, as the saying goes of the out-of-touch jackasses.
“For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb.”
The Left not knowing how economics works is not exactly a big secret. By and large, they often prove that they don’t know anything of how it works and no amount of economics degrees or awards will disprove that. So it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to see an MSNBC host making an exceedingly stupid comment regarding the economy.
During a segment on her show, Stephanie Ruhle made the following comment: “The dirty little secret here, Willie, while nobody likes to pay more, on average we have the money to do so. Household savings hit a record high over the pandemic. While the stock market isn’t the economy, you have over half of American households with some investment in the markets and the markets have hit record highs.”
In essence, she’s saying that it’s okay that you have to pay more for your food because you have the money to afford it… completely ignoring just what inflation does to money.
While we are FAR from Venezuela’s, The Weimar Republic’s, and other socialist countries’ inflation rates, the fact is that your dollar is worth less now than it was a year ago, which is why you see higher prices on store shelves (and other problems abound, such as a supply-chain problem).
So sure, people can usually afford to still pay for some things, but the “dirty little secret” about inflation, which really isn’t a secret at all, is that it leads people to be more conservative with their money. With their money being worth a bit less, they will want to save more, so they forego buying things which they don’t think are all too necessary for them at the moment.
Which can even make things worse because if fewer things are being bought, the retailers and producers need to make up the difference somewhere, so they either hike up prices even more or cut costs wherever they see fit, either in quality of product, quantity of product or lay-offs, of which there were plenty because of Leftist jackasses insisting that only SOME people’s jobs were “essential.”
Comments like the ones by Ruhle not only show the utter ignorance of the Left, but their unabashed bias. In essence, she is minimizing inflation because we all know on whom the responsibility lies. And with Brandon’s administration already well underwater because of recent events (including the inflation these deceivers are trying to minimize and even claim is a GOOD THING in some cases), the fake news media can’t afford to report on the bad things happening with any semblance of objectivity because the objective reality is that Biden is awful.
And the arguments made by Ruhle as to why the economy is *akshually* doing great are idiotic.
Household savings increased because EVERYTHING WAS SHUT DOWN. Not to mention that it’s odd she would argue that the economy is doing well with household savings from last year as a metric because Trump was still in the White House last year. If she’s trying to say that the economy during the pandemic has been good based on a metric from last year, she’s conveniently forgetting that she can’t credit the Brandon administration for that one in particular.
Secondly, the market was just about the only other place many Americans could receive income from, you know, because ghouls like YOU, Steph, insisted that people NEEDED to lose their jobs “for the common good” in keeping people “safe” from the virus. Oddly, more people have reportedly died from that same virus this year than last year, but your guy is in office, so there’s no need to talk about it anymore, apparently.
Lastly, markets hitting record highs has NOTHING to do with the Brandon administration. If anything, they are hitting record highs IN SPITE of him and his goons.
The market made a quick recovery in 2020. For it to continue to go up is due to a number of reasons (among which being multiple states and countries opening back up), absolutely NONE of which include the fact that the illegitimate child predator is occupying the Oval Office.
The idea that it’s okay that there are higher prices for things because “people can afford them” is emblematic of the following meme structure: Tell me you don’t know how inflation works without telling me you don’t know how inflation works.
Inflation means that your currency becomes less valuable. In a previous article, I talked about how cash was literally disappearing from Venezuela.
In that article, I mentioned that there were long lines being formed outside of banks in Caracas, hoping to withdraw the maximum limit of 400,000 bolivars. An idiot Leftist might think that that’s great and that means that just about everyone in Venezuela is a millionaire or billionaire (another thing which I have previously talked about), but in reality, 400,000 bolivars is worth around 20 cents (though maybe a bit more, with our inflation being worse now than back then).
With bolivars being as worthless as they are, people turned to using them to make handbags to sell outside the country. Bolivars are so worthless, they are worth more as the fabric that they are made from than as the currency it’s meant to represent.
This is with hyperinflation rates never before seen in the U.S., but that’s beside the point. The point is that with inflation, your money becomes less valuable. So the idea that “people can still afford to buy more expensive stuff” is not only asinine, it’s outright ironic. If it gets bad enough, you can get to the point where you’re spending a good bit of your money on basic things.
In the other article I brought up earlier, I mentioned that in order to purchase a little more than half a pound of the cheapest ham and cheese one could find, one would have to pay over 600,000 bolivars.
“But if 400,000 bolivars is roughly 20 cents, then 600,000 bolivars can hardly be much more, probably not even a dollar,” the Leftist might argue. Maybe, but that’s irrelevant because I also mentioned in that article that 600,000 bolivars is three-fourths of someone’s monthly salary at minimum wage.
With all the talk from the Left about how minimum wage isn’t a “livable wage” in the States, imagine how much less livable it is in a country where someone can barely afford the cheapest ham and cheese with a whole month’s worth of salary (and this is discounting all the other expenses they would have to make).
With such worthless currency, they would naturally have to seriously consider foregoing buying ham and cheese (and in most cases, actually do so). They might see it as luxury food.
And that’s why Ruhle’s comment is so idiotic. Anyone who is remotely knowledgeable of economics and inflation could tell you that it’s not good to have high inflation or hyperinflation. Again, we are far from the economic state that Venezuela is in, but there are people in the States who do have to adjust what they have to buy and how much of it. This impacts them negatively, and telling them that it’s not a very big deal or that they should just suck it up because “you can afford it” is ignorant, belligerent and short-sighted.
Not everyone is as rich as you, Steph. So it’s definitely not true that the “dirty little secret” is that people can afford higher prices. For many, they literally can’t. Not if they want to pay for other things which they might consider of higher importance.
And this is why so many people can’t stand the fake news media. It’s not just that they lie to people, they HATE the people they are lying to and see nothing wrong with them suffering economically. At least, not if they suffer economically during a Democrat administration. They destroyed Bush because of the recession (not that he had nothing to do with it) and tried to do the same with Trump during the pandemic mini-recession.
Now that their boy is in power, however, the economic trainwreck he’s causing will not only be minimized, it will be PROMOTED as something good in some cases. At best, they just decide to utterly ignore it or shift the blame.
They are annoying liars and a pest to this country.
“’There is no peace,’ says the Lord, ‘for the wicked.’”
One of the biggest stories currently is of Kyle Rittenhouse and of the absolute clownshow of a trial because of the egregious (yet common) behavior of the Leftist prosecutor. As such, most people are talking about it already and I wouldn’t really have much else to add.
If you want my two cents, here you go: Kyle is innocent, the judge is awesome, the prosecutor should be disbarred and the Left is full of demons who praise a child rapist and woman abuser who tried to harm/kill a 17-year-old kid.
Moving on, we have a video of a 2nd grader in Florida who is far more brave than almost any adult and has far more intelligence than the collective Left (not that that’s a very high bar to overcome).
Eight-year-old Fiona Lashells was recorded at a school board meeting in Florida, giving a short speech about the unfairness and illogic of forcing children to constantly wear masks in schools, which in Florida is a direct violation of not only the Constitution, but of the governor’s orders.
She began her speech talking about how she has been to other school board meetings, seemingly also having spoken there, and then talks about how she is “going to get suspended if I don’t wear a mask for three more days.”
For a bit of context, this girl has already been suspended before, not once, not twice, but close to FORTY times, to the point where her teacher tells her she missed too many school days and would have to repeat the second grade.
Despite these threats from the tyrannical teachers at her tyrannical school, she tells us of how she is undeterred in her fight. “Just because I get suspended for not wearing a mask isn’t going to change my mind. You can keep suspending me, I still have the right not to wear a mask. It is not fair that I’m getting punished because you guys [at] the school board are not following the law. That is not fair, it just isn’t right, I’m still going to stand up for what I believe and nothing’s gonna change my mind.”
That last part was received by thunderous applause from the crowd.
She then presents the argument that masks don’t just not work, but can actively infect others: “Do you know how dirty masks are? ‘Cuz you touch the mask, you put it on your face, you breathe all those germs… ‘cuz you have lots of bacteria on your hand.”
And she finishes her speech by saying: “And, okay, I hope you all go f- to jail for doing this to me. And my family is proud of me and my Uncle Murphy that is in Heaven is really proud of me, and I wanna say… your rules suck.”
While I am not exactly gleeful about her almost dropping the f-bomb, or what sounds like she was about to say (which was met with some surprised laughter from the audience), I too am proud of this girl for having the courage, at the age of EIGHT, to stand up to those who other kids would see as the “authority figures.”
Much like the devil, the Left will use whatever tools they have to coerce people into doing their will. They threaten adults with their livelihoods and kids with suspension/expulsion. The former is obviously a bit more threatening, since schools are such utter garbage and unnecessary at this point that being suspended or expelled from one of them might be a BLESSING which can lead to proper education from homeschooling or other private, pro-parent and pro-freedom schooling.
But despite the threats made to her, and the actual suspensions delivered, Fiona refuses to back down. She knows her rights and won’t be terrorized into giving them up. No matter how many times they suspend her and no matter if she has to repeat the second grade, she will not give up her freedoms.
This girl is a model American citizen, who shows far more courage than any Leftist ever would (no, it’s not “brave” to say you’re gay or transgender at this point, given how glorified such people are in pop culture) and tons more intelligence than many adults, let alone Leftists.
This girl is right about everything she is saying. The people forcing kids to wear masks in schools should go to jail not for disobeying the governor’s orders, but because it is outright against the LAW to force people, including kids, to wear anything at any point. They aren’t educators, they are dictators, abusing the easiest group of people to abuse: children.
It’s extremely rare to have kids who are as well-raised, logical and confident as Fiona, so they are typically very easy to coerce and abuse. “Don’t want to get suspended or expelled, thereby ‘ruining’ your academic and actual future? Wear a dirty, uncomfortable and suffocating mask during all school-hours and never defy us again.”
It’s cowardly beyond compare, because just about no kid will be brave enough to stand up for themselves.
I saw a video some time ago of a woman crying tears of joy, telling her son who just got home from school that parents who sued the school or school board won their case and they no longer can mandate that the students wear masks. The kid, upon hearing the news, bellowed as well and ran to hug his mother in jubilation.
The people who run these schools are nothing short of power-hungry monsters who will lord whatever puny power they may have on the easiest target of them all. They are criminals and demons who care not for the students they are teaching, but for the Marxist agenda they are ramming down kids’ throats.
Glenn Youngkin won his race because he exposed what Virginia schools were doing to their kids, but one would be foolish to believe that to be isolated to the Old Dominion. Schools all around the country are teaching Marxist garbage and have been for a very long time, really ever since intolerant militant Atheists got God kicked out of schools.
These monsters are present in almost every single government school, to one extent or another. What is a wonder to me is why Fiona is still attending that tyrannical government school anyway. Homeschools and pro-parent/pro-freedom private schools are far better options, both morally and academically. If it’s worth it to stick in those schools to fight for freedom, it’s also worth it to leave those schools and search for better options.
Now, one might argue that it’s good that Fiona is still attending the government school because that way, she can fight for her fellow classmates in these school board meetings. My counter-argument is “why are we having an eight-year-old fight this battle”?
It’s amazing and commendable, to be sure, but far from ideal. I’m not saying her parents are less brave than she is, but it’s the parents of these children who should be fighting for the freedom of the kids. And while I don’t doubt that, for the most part, they are, it is utterly unnecessary for this girl to have to stick her neck out along the way.
She definitely should still stand up for herself at school, brazing those suspensions with a determined attitude, but only for as long as she is even in that school, which really shouldn’t be for very long at all.
Especially if they are threatening her with having to repeat the second grade, I’d be looking for other schooling options so that she doesn’t “fall behind” (she has done and turned in all the assignments she had, so she shouldn’t fall behind whatsoever) and getting her out of that Schoolingrad they call an education center, if I were her dad.
The free market is more applicable to education than ever before, so use it to your advantage. Force the schools to be better by harming them financially. Of course, they’re government funded so they will never truly be out of business, but the worse they get, the fewer students they will get and the more students better schools which stand with parents and freedom will receive.
They lose not by being utterly defunded, but by being outfunded by competition. Particularly, competition which is more influential on the future of this country than they are.
At any rate, Fiona is definitely braver than most adults and smarter too for doing what she is doing. I just wish she didn’t have to be the one fighting this battle. Heck, if I’m wishing for anything, I wish there wasn’t such a battle to begin with. It’s only present because the people instituting these ridiculous mandates are pure evil. Ideally, they wouldn’t be anywhere close to power, or at least wouldn’t be so evil as to abuse children.
I pray that this brave little girl is successful in her fight and that there doesn’t even have to be a fight for reason soon.
1 Corinthians 16:13
“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.”
The biggest story of last week was obviously the many Republican victories in key elections which showed the unpopularity of the Brandon agenda. But there was another story being told at the same time, which went less talked about because of the elections: Kyle Rittenhouse’s trial.
The idea that he has to be in a trial charged with two counts of homicide and one count of attempted homicide is an abortion of the law, as anyone with even a single-digit IQ who paid attention to what happened in Kenosha in 2020 could tell you that Rittenhouse acted entirely in self-defense while he was trying TO HELP protesters who might be hurt, while protecting businesses from being utterly destroyed as was the pattern in other BLM and Antifa-led terrorist attacks throughout the country.
But, of course, Leftists tend to have a negative IQ, so the young man was arrested and charged and is currently in trial over it.
His case for self-defense was exceedingly strong even before the trial, and I have already talked about that, but new evidence came to light during the trial which makes his case EVEN STRONGER.
For a quick recap of the events that unfolded last year, Rittenhouse was seeking to protect businesses in Kenosha while also trying to attend to people’s wounds regardless of whether they were victims or protesters/rioters. At one point, he began to be chased by a rioter who threw what appeared to be a Molotov cocktail at the young man and gunshots could be heard being fired from behind Rittenhouse. Specifically, gunshots from a 9mm handgun. This is important because Rittenhouse was protecting himself with what appeared to be an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle.
Rittenhouse was attacked by multiple people, eventually falling down on the street (where he kept being attacked), with him having to kill two of them and injuring another.
But there is new footage out now which shows not only what happened in the moments before Rittenhouse was attacked, but even has Forward Looking Infra Red (FLIR) footage which showed who was where and roughly what happened. For those unfamiliar with the term above, if you’ve ever seen a military movie where they showed an image of people silhouetted in white with other things being either gray or black, that’s basically what FLIR is, and it’s used to detect heat signatures usually to find where people are.
Say the police are looking for a suspect, but the suspect is well-hidden in foliage, or something; FLIR would easily be able to find them.
What the FLIR footage does here is show us where Rittenhouse was and where his attackers were. But more importantly, it shows shots being fired behind Rittenhouse.
And that goes a LONG way to exonerating the kid, since he was running and had no idea whether or not the shots were directed at him. Seemingly, the shots were fired into the air, but again, Rittenhouse had no way of knowing this because he was being chased by a terrorist. As far as the case would go, he reasonably could have assumed the shots were at him and that he was defending himself from that (not to mention that, again, he was still being attacked otherwise and this has been known since last year).
Thankfully, Rittenhouse’s judge seems to be logical, having even barred the prosecution from calling the terrorists that Rittenhouse killed “victims”, so with the evidence we already have, plus this new evidence, it’s entirely likely that the kid will be rightfully acquitted of all charges.
But this does beg the question as to why we are only NOW seeing this footage, and with a better camera (FLIR) than what was used to record the already exonerating evidence of Rittenhouse being attacked?
Well, the answer is obvious: the communist FBI has an agenda, knew that Rittenhouse was innocent, and sat on this evidence because they hoped the fake news media and others would demonize the kid sufficiently.
In my opinion, there should be a law which forces the police agencies to release all exculpatory evidence as soon as they get said evidence, or at least before the damn trial commences. Because the only thing that protects them right now is that the Brady Rule applies only to trials.
For those not in the know, the Brady rule is a rule established following the 1963 Supreme Court case Brady v. Maryland, in which prosecutors (including entities like police departments and FBI) are required to turn over any material exculpatory evidence they have to the defense. They don’t always do this, however.
Most famously, the case of Senator Ted Stevens, who was charged with making false statements, particularly for his failure to report on his Senate Financial Disclosure Forms gifts he received from Bill Allen, the CEO of VECO Corp. (who pled guilty to corruption charges and became a witness against Stevens), as well as others. The government made a motion to file ex parte an unredacted whistleblower complaint which raised allegations of misconduct relating to the investigation, but only provided a redacted copy to Stevens’ defense, which redacted exculpatory evidence for Stevens.
The defense, before and during the trial, alleged many other discovery violations and prosecutorial misconduct, and while the District Court (in D.C., so he was never going to get a fair shake being a Republican and being a seat standing in the way of a Democrat Super Majority in the Senate following the 2008 election) remedied some of these things (for example, they forced the government to provide an unredacted copy to the defense), they ultimately did not dismiss the case or declare a mistrial, leading to a Stevens guilty verdict. Even after the verdict, more whistleblower complaints came out about federal employees violating policies, procedure, discovery, etc. regarding the investigation into Stevens and his trial.
The law firm John T Floyd’s website has an entire section on Brady violations and general prosecutorial misconduct happening in numerous circuit and state courts, and offer some summary of the Brady case and other similar Supreme Court cases.
At any rate, the FBI ultimately did what they are required by law to do in releasing the footage, but maliciously sat on exculpatory evidence surrounding a case in which a young man was demonized by the evil fake news because he stood in the way of terrorists destroying yet another city.
There are MANY criminal actions committed by the fake news and the FBI surrounding this whole thing, but that the FBI can sit on exculpatory evidence until the trial is unacceptable. Because of a technicality, they are allowed to not reveal what they have surrounding this case and so allow a young kid to be maligned and demonized by people who are the real demons.
Thankfully, Rittenhouse’s self-defense case was already pretty strong beforehand, but that doesn’t excuse this bullcrap. Imagine if the FBI sat on evidence this entire time which exonerated someone and that was the ONLY piece of evidence which showed someone’s innocence. The defendant would be character assassinated and personally destroyed because of political and ideological goals.
And the whole justice system is so inconsistent as well. OJ Simpson walks free from committing double-homicide because of a glove he didn’t necessarily have to have worn which didn’t fit his hand. And yet, we have a young kid whose entire life has been destroyed and maligned even despite ALL the evidence showing his innocence?
JFK is attributed with saying that he “wanted to splinter the CIA in a thousand pieces and scatter it to the winds.” I’d say “throw the FBI with them too.”
“A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will perish.”
Following the 2020 election steal, I largely wrote off most elections theretofore as likely to be stolen by the Left. Some areas are far more protected in terms of voter integrity than others, so I expected SOME Republican victories to still occur, but by-and-large believed most big, important races in either blue or battleground states to be ultimately stolen, regardless of the size of the Republican’s lead.
This might be the end result in the New Jersey election (though even this, I would consider a victory and will explain why momentarily), but just about everywhere else, at least where it counted, the Republican (hopefully MAGA conservative) candidates were the ones to come out on top.
First, of course, the biggest news of the night: Glenn Youngkin defeating former Virginia governor Terry McAuliffe, turning the state red for the first time since Obama’s 2008 election.
Of course, the Left tried to steal it from Youngkin, as votes seemed to have been stolen from Youngkin and given to McAuliffe around 10:56 pm on the night of the election:
Despite those stolen votes, it clearly was not enough as even the fake news media, which hadn’t called anything in Virginia until roughly 100% of the votes were counted (Fox News infamously called Arizona within two seconds for Biden but were the last ones to call this one for Virginia. Fox News is the enemy), ultimately had to face reality and call it for Youngkin.
One note I would like to make is that, while I think Trump’s endorsement helped Youngkin, in a way, this was sort of a post-Donald Trump GOP election. The GOP is, of course, Trump’s party and it will be for long after he leaves politics, but it will one day be post-Donald Trump and this election ought to be the strategy in the future. McAuliffe lost in large part because he doubled-down on Virginia’s schools showing gay pornography to school children and teaching CRT in classrooms (the latter part which the fake news media now claims NEVER existed, hilariously enough). Oh, and he also called the concerned parents “domestic terrorists.” Surprising that didn’t work.
Meanwhile, Youngkin ran on “No gay porn in schools, no CRT in classrooms and most importantly, I’m not Terry fricking McAuliffe, good Lord.” Things that parents, particularly suburban moms (who “went” to Biden in 2020), care about and were being dismissed by the Left.
Youngkin focused on the issues and McAuliffe focused on being a tyrant and a liar. That it was as close as it was can only be because of the concerted effort to steal it, but they ultimately failed at that too.
This election didn’t focus on President Trump, which is a good thing long-term, and is rooted in conservative beliefs. For those who might think I’m turning my back on Trump with these comments, perish the thought. It’s BECAUSE of Trump and his success that candidates like Youngkin can appear and win in what was previously a foregone conclusion that the Democrat would win. Thankfully, while Trump’s election was stolen, Youngkin’s ultimately wasn’t, and Virginia will be better off for it.
Another side note, I really do hope that the Democrats don’t learn a thing from this election. They cite “white supremacy” as the root cause for Youngkin’s election, which is of course ludicrous, but them doubling down on this will be helpful for other conservatives in the future. Keep calling parents “domestic terrorists” and “white supremacists.” It’s working wonders, Democrats.
But Youngkin wasn’t the only winner of note. Virginia Republicans swept the election, for the most part, and elected Winsome Sears to be Virginia’s first black female Lt. Governor (something the fake news media is avoiding like COVID because it goes against their narrative that Republicans are racist and sexist). Virginia also elected Republican Jason Miyares to be the state’s Attorney General, the first Hispanic man to serve in that position in the state’s history. Guess what the fake news media is also avoiding talking about?
And as if it couldn’t get worse for Virginia Democrats, the House of Delegates flipped Republican, with the GOP having a one-seat majority.
But the bad news doesn’t end there for Democrats. In a Texas district which is largely blue and roughly 75% Hispanic, GOP House candidate John Lujan also won his race there, flipping that seat red.
Furthermore, the measure to abolish the police in Minneapolis was soundly defeated 56.17% to 43.83%. While it’s ridiculous that it wasn’t 100% to 0%, or the slightly more realistic 99% to 1%, it still shows that most people in Minneapolis aren’t so utterly moronic as to want to abolish the police, giving up their safety in favor of some other agency which would largely handle police jobs with safety blankets and warm milk.
What’s more, a Republican picked up a seat on the Pennsylvania supreme court, which is also an important upset.
One major piece of bad news is, of course, the New Jersey gubernatorial race. The Democrats might end up stealing it anyway, which is definitely bad and unjust and they should not get away with it, but the victory here comes in the fact that they would HAVE to steal an election most people would assume the Democrat would have won handily.
That race was NOT supposed to be anywhere as close as it is, and the Republican candidate led by four or five points for a good bit of that race. Steal or no steal, this spells disaster for Democrats in future elections, particularly if they double down on their b.s.
If even NEW JERSEY can be seen as a battleground state in a legitimate election, the Democrats are losing a lot of ground and very quickly.
Oh, and perhaps most embarrassingly for a New Jersey politician, the Democrat State Senate President Steve Sweeney is also in a close race with a Republican candidate. What makes this one particularly embarrassing for the Democrats is that the Republican, Edward Durr, is a truck driver who reportedly only spent $153 on his campaign and doesn’t even have a campaign website, only Facebook and Twitter pages (which I doubt will last all that long).
Now, they did win other races, such as the Boston and New York mayoral elections (guess both cities will have to continue to suffer until they learn their lesson, assuming those were legitimate Democrat wins, which they very well might not have been) but both were races where the Democrats were expected to win, even legitimately. The big news, and devastating losses, come in the races where they were also expected to win and either didn’t (Virginia) or had to steal because the Republican was winning or was close near the end (New Jersey, assuming that that’s what’s going to happen, hope it doesn’t).
Americans have seen what life is like under the illegitimate president and soundly reject his b.s. (in this case, the “B” stands for “Biden”). We never wanted it in the first place, and everywhere there is someone with his party’s letter next to their name, people will vote in droves against them, even if the Democrats have to try and steal those elections.
We are winning. Of this, there is no doubt.
