Whenever the left fights to remove the Ten Commandments or a Christmas tree from a public building, or your children’s right to read their Bible in school, they usually refer to the separation of State and Church as the reason behind their fight.
Never mind that, instead, they’re polluting our minds with their own version of religion – atheism. Atheism, after all, is the BELIEF that there IS no God. Atheists, in other words, are BELIEVERS - they believe in SOMETHING, they just don’t believe in the same thing Christians do. They can't prove God doesn't exist any more than Christians can prove He does.
Atheists are religious people too...
The decades-long war on God Atheists have been pursuing has had terrible consequences on our society: in public schools or buildings, Evolution is in and the Bible is out; promiscuity is in and the Ten Commandments are out.
What am I saying?
I’m saying that while atheists devote their lives to condemning righteousness and everything that’s good for you, they’re also committed to promoting everything that’s wrong for you.
Evolution is just a theory, as even scientists agree – and, worst of all, it’s a theory that's never been proven and can never be proven. Nobody's ever seen a monkey evolve into a person. It’s not just a theory, it’s a ridiculous theory based on the IMAGINATION of an atheist who found it hard to believe that God had anything to do with the creation of this world.
Charles Darwin was ready to accept the evidence of creation while denying the existence of a CREATOR. As if, for example, I saw the evidence of this computer I’m using to type this blog, without recognizing the fact that someone, somewhere in Asia built it. Somebody I’ve never met built this computer whether I want to accept it or not. Similarly, somebody we’ve never met created this awesome universe…
And don’t get me started with promiscuity. Promiscuity leads to disease, depression and poverty. Women feel used, men can't find anybody to spend the rest of their lives with, gays feel awkward and rejected, and they get sick so they spend money on doctors and shrinks. There’s nothing good about promiscuity.
But, behold! Bring the Bible into the class and just wait to see how quickly they label you a bigot, a lunatic, a cross worshiper. You bet I’m a cross worshiper – what else would you worship? Miley Cyrus? Obama? Money?
But do they teach you any of this in school?
Of course not.
If they taught you anything of value in school you would know that the separation of State and Church was determined so that the government would not adopt any one particular religion. The founding of this country was based on religious liberty, so the government per se has never adopted a religion.
But did the Framers intend to forget about GOD altogether?
No. On the contrary.
The separation of State and Church does not mean the separation of State and God. It’s not what our Founding Fathers intended.
James Madison, the architect of our Constitution said this:
‘We have staked the whole future of American Civilization NOT upon the power of government, far from it. We have staked the future upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to sustain ourselves, ACCORDING TO THE TEN COMMANDMENTS’
George Washington said:
'We ought to be no less persuaded that the perpetual smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that DISREGARDS ETERNAL RULE of order and Right which HEAVEN ITSELF HAS ORDAINED'.
Abraham Lincoln said:
'In regards to this great book, the Bible, I have this but to say: it is the best gift God has given to men. But for it, we would not know right from wrong’
Not only is there RIGHT and WRONG – it’s the BIBLE that tells you what’s right and what’s wrong.
And I could go on and on - but you get the picture.
Friend, our Founding Fathers never intended for the state to be separated from God. In fact, God has been the light, the inspiration and the guidance to our leaders ever since the Pilgrims landed on our shores. Given the experience of persecution that Jews and Christians have been subjected to for thousands and thousands of years, the Framers didn’t want the state to adopt any specific religion and potentally one day justify persecution. But make no mistake – God has always been a key source of guidance to our BEST leaders. Those wonderful leaders who have promoted righteousness and what is good for us have always sought God before making crucial decisions.
Separation of State and Church is another lie propagated by democrats – good governments and God are supposed to walk together.
1 Peter 2:13-17: Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.
The official story of Thanksgiving that you learnt in school says nothing about socialism. The Left, which has dominated the curricula for decades, is very careful when it comes to indoctrinating our children into socialism. So, any chapters in our history that make socialism look bad, such as the Thanksgiving story, are carefully rewritten.
The true story of Thanksgiving is that of a failed socialist experiment. At the time, they didn't call it socialism, of course. But if you pay close attention to what actually happened, you'll see how half the Pilgrims died as a result of a disastrous socialist experiment, which, for reasons I don't understand, is still being tried today.
The official version of Thanksgiving in children's textbooks simply indicates that in the autumn of 1621, the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag gathered to celebrate the colony's first successful harvest.
Generally, school teachers tell you that Indians taught the Pilgrims how to catch eel and grow corn, and the success of the Pilgrims' first harvest was the direct result of Indians teachings.
But this version is not quite accurate - it's missing the most important part...
...how the Pilgrims dropped socialism and subsequently adopted the free market system that ultimately made America the best country on earth.
Here's the real story of Thanksgiving that the Left doesn't want you to know.
The Story of Thanksgiving the Left Doesn't Want You To Know
The Church of England, under King James I, was persecuting everyone who didn't recognize the Church's absolute authority. The punishment for those who challenged its authority was imprisonment and, sometimes, death.
A group of separatists decided to emigrate, first landing in Holland to establish a community.
After 11 years, about 40 of them decided to embark on a dangerous journey to the New World.
We have to remember, these were very religious people, who left their home country so that they could worship as they pleased, without risking their lives. In their hearts, such long and dangerous journey to America was similar to the Israelites' journey to the Promised Land. Much like the Israelites, the Pilgrims never doubted that they would make it. They trusted God...
Once in the New World, the first winter was devastating - half the Pilgrims died of starvation, including the colony's governor William Bradford's wife.
According to the story that you've been taught in school, this is when the Indians came in to help the Pilgrims, which is all true.
What follows is the part that's omitted from history textbooks - the part that the left doesn't want you to know.
The first economic system implemented in the Colony was what we would now call socialism.
You see, before the Pilgrims left England, they signed a contract which seemed fair and stipulated that they were to pool, for the common benefit 'all profits and benefits that are got by trade, traffic, trucking, working, fishing, or any other means of any person or persons' for 7 years, during which time colonists were to 'have their meat, drink, apparel and all provisions out of the common stock of the said colony'
Once they reached land they implemented the system as per the contract they had signed - but in the first winter half the people died as a direct result of this system.
The problem with the system was people didn't put too much effort laboring the common land and as a result, output wasn't enough to feed all of them.
Socialism killed half the Pilgrims.
Governor Bradford realized the 'commune' system didn't work - he wrote the experiment 'was found to breed much confusion and discontent and retard much employment that would have been to the benefit and comfort. For the young men, that were most able and fit for labour and service, did repine that they should spend their time and strength to work for other men's wives and children without any recompense'.
Bradford recognized that this form of collectivism was destructive to them - as the first harsh winter had proven. Half the people weren't carrying their weight - they didn't have to.
Socialism produced LACK
What did Bradford do?
He scrapped socialism... permanently.
He assigned a plot of land to each family to manage, thus introducing for the first time what we now know as free enterprise - capitalism.
Now, with the capitalistic principle of private property, there was incentive to work - now there was...abundance.
Capitalism produced ABUNDANCE
Abundance that the free market system enabled, and that they then shared with the Indians - to give thanks to God for their safety and discovery of the new system, and thanks to the Indians for their help.
